My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calls does not work. It looks like it is working but doesn't. I have tried in my Hyundai Sonata and a Dodge Dart rent car and get the same results. I updated the last 8.0.2. It worked the first day i had the phone, and then i updated to Ios 8.0.2 and it quit working.
Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call. This is happening on both cars.
Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

if it doesnt match that means your iPhone is not provisioned for the carrier you are trying to use. Your iPhone would need to be unlocked in order to use on other carriers. You will need to contact your carrier to see if this iPhone is unlocked py providing them the IMEI. If the iPhone is not unlocked you will need to contact the carrier that the iPhone is locked to to see if they will unlock the device to use on another carrier.

Making an iPhone 4S manual backup to a MacBook Pro does not work in iTunes?

I am helping a client's iPhone 4S (iOS 5) to back up his data to his 13.3" MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.8.2 with updates including the latest iTunes v11 without iCloud). We told iTunes not to automatically synchronize when connected. We did tell it to manual back ups from iPhone to MacBook Pro, but we only saw it back up iPhone's apps. Calendar, Contacts, etc. do not get updated on MacBook Pro's software. We don't want to synchronize. We just want to overwrite iPhone's data to the computer. Did we miss something or is there a bug in this manual backup? My client only updates his data on his iPhone and not the computer.

Backing up only creates a device backup that can later be used to restore from if necessary. He can confirm that the backup was successfully created by going to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and checking the Backups list.

We do see iTunes' device and ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ showing the backups. We thought manual backups did COMPLETE backups including calendar, contacts, etc. That's disappointing. The problem is synchronizing is that it likes to make duplicates which is quite annoying. We would prefer iTunes overwrite iPhone 4S' datas to computer. He nevers updates/add data on the computer. -
I tested Adobe CC then bought an educational license with another ID. I cannot use Lightroom Mobile. Message "Evaluation version has expired is displayed" and information in Preferences showing the old ID, not the new one. Disappointing support from Adobe. How to get rid of the old information and solve the problem?

I recently updated my software to ios6 & have now found camera not working on my ipad. We have tried resetting & numerous other solutions but nothing has helped. Can anyone tll me why this has happened & ow o I fix it, thanks
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar at bottom
2. Hold the Camera app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Re-launch the app and test

All of a sudden my iPhone 5 has been making my text sound and vibration when I am not even near my phone. I go and look at my ohone and it is in the locked screen still with no new text. It also makes the sound (Swoosh) like it is sending a text when the phone hasn't been touched in a while. I havent dropped it or anything for it to be doing this. Could it have been hacked into?
Never mind. I've did a hard reboot no matter how hard I pressed the power button. Thank goodness!!!

If your carrier doesn't support it then there probably isn't much that you can do about it (if you want to stay with your current carrier). You can get mifi devices (effectively a mobile 3G router) which you can use with iPads, laptops etc, and they also use a sim card so you could consider getting one of those - I haven't got or used one so I can't comment on how good they are, and I don't know whether you have to go for a subscription with them or whether they can be used on a 'pay as you go' basis if for example you wouldn't be using it that much.
