I recently bought photoshop elements for pc and just bought a mac... can I transfer my download?

Hi There,
I had a PC that I used for photos and it died... with my new purchase of photoshop elements. I bought a mac afterwards and need the photoshop elements again... but I do not want to pay a second time as I have only used my photoshop purchase for 2 months. Is there any way to transfer the payment and just download photoshop elements onto my mac?

I don't know if things have changed (I get the feeling they have as of late), but normally an Elements license can be applied to either platform, so you should be able to download the trial version for the Mac and use the serial number to activate it. If you have any problem you should be able to resolve it with customer spport thru chat.

You need Adobe camera raw version 8.7. Unfortunately your software pre-dates the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

There is nothing to prevent him from downloading and installing the trial version (Adobe - Download free trial version Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 | Adobe). At the point all you need to do is provide him with the serial number so that he can activate it. If the intent is that he be the owner of the software then you might want to see about transfering the license...

I am from Switzerland and just bought the Photoshop students version. As the test-license is not anymore valid, i would like to activate my full-access. First I think I have to get my serial number. As I know, I have to send an e-mail to adobe with a proof that I am a student. Could anyone tell me this address? The link which the program shows me (www.adobe.com/go/edu_de.) is not available.

Photoshop Elements 2.0 and Vista

I have elements 2.0 and just bought a refurbed computer with windows vista.
Is there a way to make elements 2.0 work on vista? I NEED to use this program and I have no extra money to upgrade right now.

A Photoshop Elements license is good for both Mac and Windows so it should be just a matter of downloading the Mac version and using your current serial number to activate it.

Anyone bought Photoshop Elements from the Apps Store, either recently (April 2014) or in the last 12 months, say? The version on the Apps Store is just the editor and so doesn't incorporate an organiser.
I'm just wondering if anyone happens to know whether the Store edition of this app includes support for Canon RAW files of the CR2 type. I've looked all over the Adobe website for the answer but without success.

I bought photoshop elements in the Itunes store, can I get the PC version for free or at a discount? I'm about to migrate back to PC and I'd love to not have to buy the program again. I'm not sure how it works though since I bought it through the Itunes app store, not adobe directly. Am I out of luck?

Theoretically you can use the itunes version to qualify for adobe's upgrade discount, but that's it. All download versions are single platform. And in many countries the street price of the full version of PSE is less than adobe's upgrade price, so it's usually not worth pursuing that. However, if you wish to, I'm told you use your apple ID as your serial number when asked. I don't know anyone who's done this, so I don't know how well it really works.
