I recently bought two albums on iTunes using my iPhone (my iTunes is set up on my old computer so I cannot sync my iPhone to my MacBook) and one of the albums will not play. The shuffle button is grey/can't click. All songs have a grey 'stop' icon..? Help
I can click on the songs themselves, but when I do it nothing plays. It goes to the screen as if the song were playing, but nothing plays. When I click the 'play' icon it doesn't change. Just flashes and stays as the play icon. Not sure what to do!

Not sure whether for instance you initially had a Yahoo optimised version of Firefox, and have now overwritten it with an official Mozilla version. Although the Mozilla version should NOT add unwanted features, but the Yahoo version may well do.
If you merely need to find the Yahoo emails page quickly just add it as a bookmark or as a bookmark on the Bookmarks toolbar and make sure that is visible.
Clicking the star icon on the location bar whilst looking at your emails will bookmark the page.

I just downloaded an album from itunes and 2 of the tracks will not play at all, they cut off. I need help with this??
Does the track play correctly in Quicktime Player? If it does then it is an iTunes issue. If it doesn't then it is possible the file was not completely downloaded, or is corrupt.

If it can be downloaded again, delete the track from iTunes.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -
we have 2 itouchs, we a separate itunes account for each one. We have one home computer to use them both on for sync and icloud, the icloud will not accept the 2 accounts?
Do you know what happens if you delete the icloud account from an iphone 4s? Will it delete the pictures, documents, etc. from the phone, or just unlink the icloud from the phone? I want to associate a different icloud account to the phone.

ATV will play movie extras and all other content. Put will not play the movie it self! iTunes is currently unavailable. Try again later. Shows up every time!
Did you activate home sharing in both your iTunes and ATV?
Also try signing out of the ATV (Apple ID) and signing back in again. -
I am downloading a Final Cut Pro x project directly to Quicktime. The movie will not play stating Quicktime doesn't support the codec. I currently am using Quicktime 10.1 on my Mac OS X Lion

To be completely honest, FCPX is a RAM hog. It just is. But, RAM is relatively cheap, and the pay-off is good.
4GB is right on the edge, IMHO. 16G is ideal.

I purchased a film on iTunes and sync to Apple TV (1) and the film will not play say not authorised please help?
This problem seems to have started around October 28, it appears to affect content purchased only on other devices but played on the Apple TV 1.
There have been other workarounds suggested from time to time, but I have found the simplest solution is to purchase something on the Apple TV 1 directly (There may be free content in some locations and this appears to work just as well).
Once the content has been purchased, it will not only play as normal, but will also allow all other content purchased on other devices after October 28 to play as well.
Some have reported that it's necessary to restart the Apple TV before and/or after purchase, but I found it worked without. -
I have duplicate songs in itune library. Both songs will play, but if I delete a one of them the other will not play. The message given in itunes is cannot locate the file, and neither can I. Any suggestions?
I figured this out - this might be of great help to some people who have the same problem. I do not know how, but somehow my external hard drive got renamed to a different drive letter, from E to F. That's why itunes wasn't recognizing my songs, because there was a new file path name. Here's a microsoft XP tutorial on how to change drive letters if this happens to you:

Since I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 purshased songs with I tunes will not play the whole song on my computer Itunes library or when transferred to my Ipod. I have tried everything and still no luck. Any help?

my iphone plays pandora and youtube music but it will not play my itunes music whenever i try to hit play the button flips over to pause as normal but the music dosent work?
I can understand this with videos you are streaming, i.e. maybe you have a slow data connection.
Videos on your phone should not do this. Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. -
Apple TV will not play the entire song
I use Apple TV to play music because of the sound system hooked to my HD television. However, I have discovered that Apple TV will not play the entire song if it is long. For example, "Tales From Topographic Oceans" by Yes is one album of six 20+-minute songs. When each track gets about half way through, the system switches to the next track. I cannot find anything in Settings to fix this, either in iTunes on Apple TV. Help?
the newer appletv dont have their own strorage
so they can only access the shared lib of the computer
some computers are set to power saving levels where they will turn off if not used by a real user for X mins
if that happens the shared lib will no longer be avaible to the atv in which case it will not be able to keep playing -
I purchased a movie yesterday and started the download. The download seemed to hang up at about 90%. Finally, it showed that it was ready to watch, but the movie will not play. Download is apparently corrupt. How do I get a working version?
Depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the film from your iPad and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app (or the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes).
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download films, or if you have problems with the re-downloaded version, then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -
My iPad will not play sounds on certain applications. ie: if I click on a video from FB sound will not play. If I go to YouTube and play the same video sound will play. Also certain games will no longer play sounds. They always played sounds but now won't now. I just went to my churches web site to watch live service and again no sound. I grabbed my dads iPad and the sound works fine.
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.
