I recently changed my email address and the app store will not let me use my new email. I have my apple id under my new email address. Any Suggestions?
1. Sign out of Apple ID (Settings>iTunes and App Store>Apple ID)
2. Reboot
3. Sign in with new email address

On your iPad tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. Or on your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should also be a payment link.

App Store Failure / Updates White Screen
Tap Settings > General > Date and Time > Set Automatically > Off. Set the date one year ahead. Then try to access the App Store.
It may be a connection issue. Try changing your DNS settings to Google’s open DNS by tapping Settings > Wi-Fi >, tap the blue arrow next to your current Wi-Fi network, and then tap the “DNS” field and enter the DNS servers; 8.8.8.8 (Google’s Public DNS, 8.8.4.4 also alternate). -

Does it happen with the apps that came with the iPod?
Does it happen with all apps you have downloaded/installed?
Have you ried deleting the apps and redownload/install the apps? You will not be charged again if you are signed into the same iTunes account that originally purchased the apps.
Next would be to restore from backup
Last would be to restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -

You need to first install the OS your Mac came on the bundled gray disks. Assuming it's Snow Leopard, you could then login into the App Store using your same Apple ID and password to download and install Lion.
If your Mac is a bit older and came with Leopard, 10.5.x, you can bypass that and install Snow Leopard from your retail disk. The only software you'd need to install separately from the gray disks would be the optional software, such as the iLife suite and other titles not included on the retail SL disk. -
I hav an Imac and all of a sudden I cannot ope most apple programs like Iphoto. when I try to update the software I cannot open software update nor the app store.
Since this problem occurred, have you shut down (powered off) and restarted your iMac?

I have 2 Apple ID's but the app store will not let me update iPhoto with either
I have a MacBook pro 2011. For some reason i have ended up with 2 Apple ID's i must have forgotten something or i changed my account name from when i first set up the machine. Some apps allow me to upgrade with one but not the other. I have upgraded to Yosemite via a clean install at the Apple store. I have loaded back on my back up but iPhoto isn't there and it has asked me to upgrade via the App store. Unfortunately neither Apple ID's will let me upgrade.
The Message on screen is:
Upgrade unavailable with this Apple ID
This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled
Do i head back to the Apple store and talk with them or is there something i can do at home?

SI think you're confusing RAM memory with hard drive memory storage...the two aren't the same.
Although you're being told you need 2GB of RAM to run Mountain Lion....I would consider 4GB the minimum. You should be able to upgrade the RAM in your iMac to 4GB for well under $100. -
The App store is not letting me use my gift card to purchase any apps...ideas?
It is a $100 gift card and has already been redeemed and purchases have been made previously. There is a remaining balance on the card. When i sign into the app store, there used to be a balance that appeared beside the "account" tab, but now it is gone! Everytime I try to make a purchase, the app store asks me to confirm the billing information and to resign into my mac account. Once i sign in, it asks for my billing information again and the cycle continues. Not too sure what I'm supposed to do. Also, it has worked until yesterday when I downloaded the new itunes and synced my newly purchased iphone with my mac.

Several things to try ...
If you are running v10.6, install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
If you are running v10.7, install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo)
That will reinstall the App Store for you. Restart your Mac after the combo is installed.
Try logging into the App Store and check your balance.
You can also view your balance is the account area at the iTunes Store on your Mac.
Apple - Apple Gift Cards
When you review your account in the Edit Payment Information window in either the Mac App Store or iTunes Store, don't forget to the click the Done button bottom right side of the window.
If nothing above has helped, try resetting your iTunes account. You can do that here > Apple - My Apple ID
And try deleting the cache associated with the App Store. Quit the App Store if it's open.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash. Try the App Store.

As I went to open itunes, an error message came up saying "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again." No matter how many times I try, nothing restores the itunes store.
I have also had this problem in the past, and on another computer, but a representative told me to fix my security settings, which i did and it worked...but after trying it on my computer the change security settings did not help.

Loads of space but not letting me download garage band on to my iPad and comes up with pop up saying not anough space on the iPad
When the app is downloaded it will expand as all app downloads do. You are downloading a "compressed installer" in a manner of speaking. When the app expands it will be larger than the space that you have left on the device.
