I recently downloaded a toolbar call Quizolous_v3b. I then realized that I did not want it and Quickly uninstalled it. It is now my default search engine and it still shows up as a toolbar for firefox and I can't get rid of it. in English
I downloaded it from this website while trying to get another offer online. http://www1.officialiqquiz.com/neo3n/index.php?q=1 This was the first time that I tried one of these offers and I will not be trying another one because of the issues. I would like to reset my firefox search bar to google and have this toolbar permanently removed from my Firefox program. As I am not a programmer I do not know what else to do since I have already uninstalled it and it doesn't show up in any of my folders. It only shows up when I launch firefox.
Hi Gnib, First go to start>control panel>add/remove Programs. In add/remove
programs there will be "Media Bar" once you click on it to remove it,then it says
remove "media bar 2.0". Get rid of that also. Now go into your "add-ons
and extensions". There will be something about the imesh toolbar. Uninstall
that. Go into start>programs. If imesh is there, delete that too.
If this doesn't work for you. Tell me what you first did to remove imesh.

Tabs I have closed out still load every time I bring up Firefox! I can't get rid of them.
Two days ago I closed out my daily Firefox session. I had ten tabs open, which is typical for me, including the homepage. I closed out the entire session by hitting the X in the uppermost right hand corner. Shut down the computer, etc., NEXT day, when I go to open Firefox, all of those tabs reload. NOW... get this: I have closed those out one by one by clicking their individual X's. When that failed to solve the problem, I closed them out from the FILE menu, again, individually, same problem. In the meantime, I have started new sessions with different tabs opened (and the pestering, persistent ones closed. BUT STILL when I open a brand new session of Firefox, those ten tabs from two days continue to load. It is really annoying. Help!

Since installing Ios7 280 music tunes out of a total of 360 will now only play when I'm within range of WiFi. The remainder now appear with the stupid Icloud logo beside them. How can I get them back on my Iphone 4s and scrap this stupid icloud that I did not want or ask for in the first place. Why can't rotten apple ask if you want the dam icloud rather than just stealing everything without permission and then you can only have access to it through wifi.

What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice! -

If the History sidebar is closed when you close Firefox and doesn't stay closed on the next start then that can be problem with the file localstore.rdf in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder]
Delete localstore.rdf or rename the file to localstore.rdf.sav in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] to test if the file is corrupted.<br />

Help! I have 4 different computers that I plug my iPhone 4 into from time to time. I just synced it with a laptop that I haven't plugged into for a long while, and it overloaded my phone with a ton of pictures from the computer that I did not want or need on my phone. When I went to PHOTOS on my iTunes, and checked "sync checked folders only", it says it will replace the photos on my phone. I'm not sure this is what I want...I don't want to lose the photos on my phone. I have over 3000 on there!
You can sync photos and itunes content with one and only one computer at a time. When you sync to another, it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.

How do I update my iOS? I have the iPad 1 and have tried over and over to try and update the iOS version to iOS 5.1, nothing works it will start updating then say that it did not update? PLEASE HELP!!! P.s I'm running newest version of iTunes.
Connect your iPad to your computer and let iTunes back up your iPad. After it does that disconnect it and go into your settings under general and under reset and select erase all content. After you do that reconnect to your computer, open iTunes and follow the screen options to set up your iPad as new. Once it is done doing that see if you have the latest version of iOS installed and if it does then either download gain the apps you had before or restore them from the backup made previous.

How can I get an album to play in order on Itunes? The songs keep skipping all around to other albums that I did not want to listen to at that time?
It sounds like you might have the shuffle button at the bottom left of the iTunes (the button with the squiggly lines).
If that's not the case, then maybe you just need to sort your library by album by clicking the album tab at the top.
Is your music in a playlist, or are you trying to play it from the entire library? -

Is Intego Task Manager a legitimate virus protection program for Macs, or can I get rid of it? It seems that every time I use my computer it is doing a computer scan and it seems to slow things down.

I seldom use tabs, so the tab bar was always hidden. starting yesterday, when I opened firefox A search tab is present. A single tab is also present. The search tab is very similar to the search button on the right of the navigation bar. So it is redundant.
How can I get rid of this search tab?Can you uninstall the "Default Tab" extension as that is considered malware and is causing this search bar?<br />

i have att u verse modem and it wi fi was not working. So i got net gear wi fi and connected to att modem . i connected my apple TV via Ethernet cable to att uverse modem . i did not want slow down my wi fi speed. My Apple phone is on Netgear wifi .Now airplay is not working .
Make sure that the Att Modem goes to the netgear router via ethernet cable. Then connect your Apple Tv with a ethernet cable to the back of the net gear router. Airplay wants it to both be connected to the same device, usually.

As my long question implies (sorry, should have kept it shorter) I have a problem with being forced to have Events in my iPhoto'11 9.2.3 (629.52) on my MacBook 10.6.8. My habit is to unload the camera constantly, whether I have taken a single shot or a whole series. Each new addition creates an Event which actually bothers me!
Is there a way of avoiding this? If I erase an event from iPhoto the photos will disappear from the Library it seems ... Please help with your advice. Thanks! Sigrid.Thanks, OT!
When I look at my odd(?) habits of dealing with iPhoto anyone will see that I have a very simplistic approach: I never let one single Library get bigger than 300 or 400 photos, then back it up as is and make a separate, manual backup of the different albums as named by myself on an external HD. Then I delete the Library as such from my Mac but can reinstate it from the backups as I please. The backups are properly labelled, of course.
I get dizzy when I read about libraries of thousands of photos, of keywords, ratings, smart albums etc. because this just wouldn't apply to my so-called system. So instead of using Faces and Places, my album names show clearly what's in them - "skies and scenery" Euskadi, "bugs and birds at Fancourt", "inventories", "people" (separate for my circle of people and characters from media), "my dog" etc., usually a bunch of 20 albums or so depending on my whereabouts. Quite manageable!
I've been doing just fine with this method and would recommend it ... but others are much brighter ;-) and use the offered (and to me too advanced) features of iPhoto, if they prefer these. Now that I know how to get rid of Events by merging them into one, I at least feel a little freer there.

To try and stop it happening again, you should be able to turn off in-app purchases on your device via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and (depending upon what iOS version that you have on the device) you might also be able to set 'Require Password' to 'Immediately' on the Restrictions (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need to be re-entered) -

First, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and your computer has not been affected. This "hijack" is limited to your web browser. Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
Relaunch Safari
If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.
This will not work in all cases. The shift key must be held at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window reappears. In these circumstances, after force quitting Safari, turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then relaunch Safari normally. On awakening iMac after sleep, I get a pop up saying "The disc was not ejected properly....." etc. Presumably this was a disc of photos or a slideshow I had put onto a disc at some time past. This has been going on for months. I have inserted and ejected thru Finder all the discs I have, and still it persists. Any ideas of how to get rid of it, please?
phillashby, if you just upgraded ML to 10.8.5 then the problem may be caused by a bug in the upgrade. If you look around the forum other people are having the same problem after going to 10.8.5
I recently upgraded to OS 10.8.5 and now when my iMac (late 2012) wakes from sleep I get the error mesage that my Lacie external thunderbolt raid drive has been ejected improperly. Then it reconnects right away. I will stay away from the sleep mode for the moment. -

I bought and downloaded Chris Cornell live "clean" version C.D. by mistake I wanted to download the "uncut, explicit" version instead. I did not know there were 2 choices on the same C.D. Will apple exchange this or am I stuck with it?
