I recently exchanged my faulty iPad while travelling.i backed it up to brother's laptop and fneedlessly backed up all iTunes purchases.... I synced new iPad with brother's laptop and now all albums appear but none will play. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

The password is for your iTunes account. Not for your old iPod. Enter your Email and password will give you access to all the music you bought from iTunes. If you forget it then I dont know how to help you there guess your SOL.

When i plug my ipod in itunes loads etc then it states syncing, but it gets to stage 2 which is back up and wont get past that, ive left it on over night, reinstalled, checked my firewall etc and phones up itunes support with no success, Can any one help me? Game settings are part of the backup. Only if you back up manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPad to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPad for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPad for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

You don't. Backup your itunes library on the old computer and move it to the new computer.

Well, turbo.264 is indeed very nice to have - even for converting full-sized movies. All H.264 files (assuming they are H.264 level 4.1 or lower) are compatible with the built-in Videos app.

I've purchase a new one and when trying to restore a backup from I cloud the Ipad showed me a different Apple ID than mine and refused my Apple ID.
Can it be this ID (which is an email adress) is the email of the one having my stolen IPAD ?

The appleid its showing you is associated with one of the apps / songs or another purchase that was on the device the last time it was backed up which it needs to download the app / purchase again. It won't be from the person who has your ipad now unless they downloaded it and then your device was backed up afterwords, so only if the backup date was listed as AFTER your device was lost / stolen.

This is a part of the larger MacBook Pro connectivity issue. There are several related threads dealing with the MBP's networking problems. If your unit is suffering from this type of difficulty, good luck ... (or a long ethernet cable)

That is the way it works. It designed to do that.
In addition to everything else you have to this other person's computer you would have to move your complete iTunes library over also. Only then will it recognize youriTouch.
