I recently got bought an Ipod touch 2nd Generation, and I want to transfer music from a CD that has been Imported into Itunes, yet it dosen't then show up that i have downloaded the music....why is this and how do i fix it?

I really need help with downloading music from a CD that was imported to Itunes, bt is not showing p in my Ipod Touch's music....please somebody help!

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

I recently switched from iPhone 5 to iPhone 5s. Using iPhoto and Image Capture on my Mac, I saved all the photos into a Mac folder. Then, I used iTunes to import these photos into my new phone. However, I have noticed that the little heart/favourite iconic my photos does not appear on the old photos, however, it does appear on the new photos. How do I fix this? Also, is there a way to backup photos to iCloud so that I can import them into a new phone without much hassle?

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer? If so you can only use the manual method and that only works with music and videos.

Copy the music from Nano to computer by:

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your device for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

When its in the upper right hand corner and you click on it all you get is a done button, when it's in the side bar right click and your only option is eject, left click has no effect. If I go to "file">devices it's as if there are no devices connected.

Download RecBoot and see if you can kick it out of recovery mode.

What exactly happens when you try to update the iPod? What does the error message say?

The error comes about whilst trying to download certain apps from the app store, including CSR Racing which when i tap on install a message box pops up saying "This App Is Incompatible With This iPod touch", another time for a different app it came up with a message saying "This app requires OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics capability.
Main questions:

Will i need to buy a more recent model of iPod touch if this isnt fixable?

So, here is an update to my original question, in case anyone else has this issue. I spoke with a senior adviser at apple, who had me use the "devmgmt.msc" command in the search line of Windows 7; after expanding the USB controllers menu, she had me uninstall/delete the "apple mobile device driver" and then open "control panel" and "uninstall programs." Once the menu of programs was open, she had me highlight the program "apple mobile device controller", then repair it, and restart the computer. This fixed the issue and the iPod synced.
However, just one day ago, when I plugged in both the iPod, then the iPad (not at the same time), I get the message that "this library has already been synced to another iPod/iPad or other IOS device." It then asked if I wanted to set up as a new device or from restore of previous. That is wher I am right now; I am trying to get the same apple adviser again to discuss the case number. More to follow.
