Have you tried reinstalling the original drive? Same symptoms with it?

I had to rebuild a computer. When I got iTunes installed and tried to sync my iPod it said that I had reached my limit of five computers. I logged into my iTunes account and went through the process for deauthorizing all computers. It comes up with a messaging asking if I am sure I want to deauthorize all computer and I select the "Deauthorize computers" button. It never comes back with a message one way or another whether it was successful. When I get out of that screen and come back in, it still shows that I have 5 authorized computers. I can't sync my iPod. The deauthorization is not working. Can anyone explain why this is happening?
i guess no one helped? I'm having the same problem.

Do you mean that it's being declined, that you are getting an error message, ... ?
If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined
If it is a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? Assuming the file is stored on a network server, and the "other computer" is on that network as well; with InDesign not running on either, navigate to the folder where the InDesign file is stored and find the lock file (it will have the extension .idlk). Delete it.

My ipod 60gb classic is showing as fully charged until I connect it to my pc when it comes up with the error message, 'please wait very low battery' and the little wheel goes round and nothing happens, can anyone explain why this is and what i can do?
I have worked my way through the assistant and nothing works. I have tried connecting in disc mode but although the screen on the ipod is showing that the device is charged and that it is in disc mode as soon as I connect it to the computer it comes up with the error message 'please wait very low battery' and stays like that until I disconnect when it appears to be OK again. I have tried on both pc and mac.
BTW the ipod is an ipod video not classic if that makes any difference.

When I switch libraries I "lose" the majority of the material in my main library (or at least I can't see it) and can only restore it by repairing the database. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can resolve the problem? Thanks
I seem to have found a way around it. Rather than switching libraries by going into files/switch libraries I used Aperture Preferences to change them. I've done it a couple of times and it appears to work OK.
That is an interesting finding. It suggests, that your "Preferences" file "com.apple.Aperture.plist" may have been corrupted and you fixed it this way. Can you now switch between libraries the usual way? If not, I'd try to remove the "preferences" file from the user library to the Desktop and relaunch Aperture.

I have attempted to update a few apps and the install has frozen on 'waiting' not allowing me to either access the app or delete it, any idea why this has happened and how do I get around it?
See if either of these things works for you. In the future ... Only update one app at a time. Forget that the Update All button even exists. It causes more problems than it does good - IMO.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream. -

I have selected calendars on my iphone and macbook to synch using icloud. If I enter an item on the iphone, it appears on the macbook calendar but not the other way round. Any suggestions why this is happening and how to fix it?

this may be a false/positive log record.
First check the services and applications on the effecting machine (NETSTAT -ANO) to see which connections the machine has established or tries to establish.
Check the machine against viruses and spyware.
if you don't find any viruses / spyware or "mysterious" connections, create a connection exception limit in the flood mitigation settings on your TMG Server:

Several times I've downloaded an album from iTunes to find that not all of the tracks were fully downloaded so that some of the tracks will skip to the next one (instead of finishing the song). Can anyone tell me why this happens and how I can fix it?
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.) -
