I recently renamed my apple id and now i am unable to use FaceTime or my iCloud

I recently changed my apple id from an old email address to my current email. Ever since then i have been unable to make updates, use facetime, imessage, or make updates to my computer. Is there anyway to fix this without going into apple?

Did you change the entire ID or just your password?  If you changed the entire ID, you're going to have to sign out of the cloud and sign back in, via settings.  But, if you just changed your password, you can change that in iCloud settings on your iPad.  Also, if you completely changed your Apple ID, you do know that you won't be able to update any of the purchased apps on your iPad via your new ID.  Apps are tied to the Apple ID they were purchased under.

    Start with the simple things. Reboot your router by removing all power for 15-30 seconds. Then, as Knells suggests, reset the phone by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. Plan C is Settings/General/Reset - Reset Network Settings. None of these will cause data loss, but the last one will erase your WiFi passwords.

    Welcome to the Apple Support Community!
    It sounds like your Apple ID is used for both the iTunes & App Stores and iCloud. If you edited that Apple ID before signing out of the iCloud on your devices, it may be necessary to edit the Apple ID back to the original email account so that you can sign out of iCloud. Once signed out, you can edit the Apple ID back to the new email account and sign back in. Please use the attached article for further information.
    If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud
    Change your Apple ID temporarily
    If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
    Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
    Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
    Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
    Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
    Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
    Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
    Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

    You should definetely contact an apple store! If your warranty is valid they will probably fix it for free. Until then go to settings, general, accessibility, assisive touch and turn it on. A circle will appear that does exactly what your home button does.

    It should work, but it's an unmitigated mess. Simplest is to boot into recovery mode and reinstall the OS.

    Did you follow the instructions exactly? Disconnecting all cables, then connecting micro usb? Make sure to conect directly to the computer instead of using ports on a keyboard or USB hub.

    My son changed the accessibilities settings on his ipod touch.  He turned the triple-click home ON and turned the inverted colors ON and did something that makes it say everything you touch.  Now that he has changed this, I can not get his Ipod touch to let me scroll down to the accessibilities part of the setting to change anything back.  He can not us his itouch now because of the setting that were changed.     You have the accessibility VoiceOver and other features turned on.
    Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver and the other ones off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see the following for how to turn off via iTunes:

    This is what I have discovered. If I purchase an app that I've never purchased before it does download to both devices. Seems to only work when a never before used app is downloaded. If I have previously downloaded an app before I began using iCloud to sync multiple devices the apps don't appear on all devices.

    This is a step up from the previous suggestion.
    Make the Finder the "front" app.
    Use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
    Select the Library that appears in the Menu list.
    Navigate to Preferences.
    Find com.apple.imservice.imesssages.plist and drag it to the Trash.
    Restart the app.
    You will most likely have to re-enter the Apple ID
    If that does not work delete the com.apple.imessages.bag.plist  (this one holds the server it should be trying rather).
    Again Restart the app.

    Did you try to change the location  in Settings/iTunes & AppStore/AppleID -> view Apple ID, log in ->Country/Region -> India?
