I recently transferred some photos from an old ipad to a new ipad using the app "simpletransfer", all of the photos that transfered however, saved into my photostream and turned my photostream on. does anyone know anything about this app because i have no

other idea as to how the photos i transferred ended up on my photo stream, which i had initially turned off.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photo stream simply synchronises your photos between all your devices. If you don't want to use it, disable it at settings > iCloud, it won't affect any photos in your camera roll.

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

Photoshop.com is currently unavailable because it stopped existing a while ago. If you have photos there, you should have received several emails, first one warning you of the change to Adobe Revel and to get your photos if you didn't want them moved, then another that the move was imminent, and another that they were successfully moved.
You can't use Revel from within versions of PSE that were set up for photoshop.com.

But what is this "patch"? I need to know the field to select the appropriate glue:

I fear that sticks to the kind cyanolycrate superglue3 leaves me a white film on the wafer if it is plastic ...

What patch are you referring to? I could be wrong, but I do not believe any such "patch" exists.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. I am wondering about my iTunes account, I heard a whole album was free to everybody with an iTunes account. I apparently got the whole album downloaded into my iTunes account without even realizing it, and it charged me money, so I'm wondering can I get my money back for free because I got charged when this album got downloaded to my iTunes. The album was by U2, and I didn't want to get it or even get charged the money for it, so I'm wondering about this, can someone answer me about this if you know anything about it, thank you.

USB wireless adapters are usually problematic since they require drivers that are often incompatible with OS X or are compatible with only a few versions of OS X.

Aperture is asking me for a serial number when I log on. I do have one because I got it off the app store. Anyone know anything about this or had this problem?

This problem has been getting at me for a while, I purchased Aperture 3 off the app store about a year ago without trouble, it was fine even when I had lion but after a few mserials deter that it stopped working and asked me for a serial number. It is also gone from my purchase history. I am not going mad and have forgotten hat I bought it in a box because I have written a review on the AppStore which you can only do if you have bought It there.

If you bought this in the App Store and now the App Store is not showing it in your purchased history and you are using the same Apple Id to log in you have a big problem.
I would contact the App Store right away and try to get this straightened out. There is no way to correct this as you do not have a serial number to enter and no way of getting one.
The only other possibility would be if you somehow have two copies of Aperture on your machine, did you ever load the trial version? You could search your HD to see if you have two copies of the application and if you do try running each to see what happens.
But even if this turns out to be the case it wouldn't explain the App Store not having it in your history ad that still is a major problem.

I just wondered if anyone has found that their problems are in any way related to this. I also read that if your task manager shows only one graph of cpu usage then windows is not using both cores of you processor. They said there were updates to files that could be made to windows to correct this. Czn anyone shead any light on these issues? Thanks

Just run it, if its need it will be installed else will not. the installer will auto determinate that they are newest than yours or not.
Or just do windows update.
