I recently updated to 4.0 and my playlists disappeared
I had 4 playlists 80's music, 90's, new rock etc and after installing the updated they are now gone. How do I create a new playlist now? I have spent hours on iTunes trying to figure it out, even drop and dragging music on already listed playlist and it won't allow it. I created my last playlists by renaming the ones that were there already and drop and drag. Why is this not working now? Anyone give me step by step to creating new playlists or direct me to were it is listed. Thanks so much in advance.
Thank you. Someone contacted me and made me aware you can make a playlist directly on the iPod touch, which was a feature I wish was there from the get go. I was so use to do everything form iTunes, I am happy this is far more easier to do. I already got my 4 playlist back and creating more. Thanks for your help.

please helpI had the same problem, cloud purchased music was gone from my computer after upgrading. But I read some more support stuff and they suggested removing the songs from your computer but don't delete the file and then you can download again from the cloud. Otherwise I wasn't getting the option to download - no need to rebuy music. Apple needs to know this was a problem though! Hope this is helpful to you. It is a pain but saving alot of frustration as to how to get it back. Good luck.

I recently upsated my iphone 4 and my camera app disappeared on the screen. I am unable to do anything that requires the camera or the light. I have already reupdated my phone again and removed multiple pictures thinking maybe I had to many on my phone. Can someone please let me know if they have had this problem and what they did?

I recently updated my iPhone 4 and my iPad to the iOS 7.0.2 and now I am having lots of trouble with messaging. I used to be able to send or receive iMessages from other people with iPhones. Or iPads on either of my devises and if the other user was not connected to a wifi connection it would automatically try to send the message as a text message. Now if I send a message to an iPhone user from my phone and they are not connected to wifi, the message just sits there in limbo, and doesn't notify my that it wasn't sent. I have to manually tap the message and request to send it as a text message, I also can no longer receive picture messages from android phones, and relies to my messages from iPhone users are going to my iPad and not to my phone. Help!!!!
Try the following:
Go to Settings > Messages > iMessages > disable
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
let it do it's thing and reset.
Then go to Settings > Messages > iMessages > enable
You'll then have to go back to your Wifi and re-enter your router credentials. -
I have a macbook pro running snow leopard. Just recently I cannot view youtube videos and other online videos. I recently updated my flashplayer plugin and I believe that is the problem. Is the latest flashplayer plugin compatible with 10.6.8? If this is so, I need to find an older flash player plugin to reinstall. I do not want to upgrade from 10.6.8 at this time because I have 18 yrs. worth of financial records on Quicken that I have read will not work with Lion and I've read bad things about running music programs on Maverick.

1) Quicken 2007 for Intel (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mt. Lion and Mavericks) is a full featured app that can be downloaded from Intuit for $15 and will work with your data file if you are using Quicken 2005, 2006 or 2007 (if you version is earlier, let me know for more instructions on easy conversion):

I recently update my iphone 5 and had lots of problems. Apple support helped but now I see that none of my music is downloaded. Do I have to download each song/playlist individually?
Updated the phone to IOS 7.1.1 but there was a problem with my computer. Everything was removed from the phone but I couldn't get it back without help. The tech helped me and everything is fine now except the music. I did sync it and backed it up but wonder if I should restore backup. I'm a little nervous to try that, what do you think.

So my iPhone 4S started draining battery after recent update, battery got changed and it worked perfect for 3 days, all of a sudden the phone shut down and now won't stay on unless connected to mains... Claims its at 100% battery but thats impossible as it was at 30% before it shut down randomly.

Start with the simple things. Reboot your router by removing all power for 15-30 seconds. Then, as Knells suggests, reset the phone by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. Plan C is Settings/General/Reset - Reset Network Settings. None of these will cause data loss, but the last one will erase your WiFi passwords.

I just recently updated my Apple TV and iTunes, and now every time I turn on my Apple TV, I have to go to my computer and close and reopen Itunes several times before my Photos share to the Apple TV. Is there a fix for this??
This indicates the device is in recovery mode.
Connect it to a computer running iTunes and restore it. -

Yosemite is not iOS. It is OS X which run on Macs.

Yes, if you updated to iOS 7 you also got a new version of iBooks. The new iBooks app does not have the wooden shelf theme at all. The library has been re-styled for iOS 7 to be a plain white area listing your book or pdfs.

I recently updated my iphone 3GS to iOS 5.0.1 software. After this was completed everything had been wiped from phone, all photos, apps, contacts, notes, calender. emails, music and settings. itunes wouldnt recognise my phone afterwards, but I have now been able to put back my photos, music and apps. Does anyone know how I can get my contacts, calender and email back please (notes would be good too!!). I didnt have icloud.
You should have been syncing all of this to your computer regularly.
Just sync it back.
