I recently updated to ios7, and synced my phone with my wifes itunes library. now, when I try to update my apps on my phone, I get asked for her apple ID password, instead of mine. We have tried re-syncing my phone to my itunes already

Resyncing my phone did not fix the problem. I also tried going into my store settings, on my phone, and logging out of my ID, and logging back in. It still shows her ID, but only when I am trying to update the apps that are already on my phone. I have to enter my own ID password to download new apps.
I deleted all of the apps off of my phone, and redownloaded them (from the Cloud), and that still did not work.
Does anyone know how to delete my wife's apple ID from my phone completely?

Content bought using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
All you need to do is delete those apps belonging to your wife.
Check Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > your own Apple ID here. If not, sign out here and sign in yours.

I have had to create a new iTunes account. However, there are updates that were not performed while under the old account. So now when I try to update apps, it's asking for the login of the old account, which I do not have.

I have had to open a new account, however, there were App updates that did not get installed before I opened the new account. Therefore, when I try to do the updates, it's is asking for the sign-in and password for the old account, which I do not have this information.

All apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and is not transferable.
Delete these apps and download them with the new Apple ID.

Just today when i try to launch an app (Youtube, Google maps etc) i keep getting asked for my Apple ID password.

You should remove his AppleID and restore it as new.

What id shows in Settings > iTunes & App Store ? If it's the old one then tap on it and log out of it and then log in with the updated version

The apps were purchased by another user with a different Apple ID. You will have to erase them and repurchase them using your Apple ID.

Reset your iPad and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Do you guys use the same computer with itunes on it? And the best way to get them off is to go into the Setting>Itunes & App Store and sign out of her appleid if it's listed there. Also just delete all of the apps from her appleid off your phone.

If the app was bought with the formers owners Apple ID, you cannot update the app with her ID. Apps belong to the ID that was used to purchase them. The former owner should have erased the iPad before he sold it to you and his ID would not be popping up.
If these were apps that your wife bought, then her ID would be popping up, unless I am missing something.

Your Apple ID is tied to the US store. Log out of the store, then trying logging back in.

I have purchased music, apps, or books with multiple Apple IDs. How can I get all of this content onto my iOS device?

Thank you for clarify I'm supposed to read the ENTIRE article. I thought I was just supposed to read the title and magically everything will fix itself. I appreciate you taking the time to help me however I do not appreciate the caps and the way you have addressed the situation. And for the record my conclusions are not illogical, the iOS7 thing is on the website in small font (which I got by reading the ENTIRE thing) and you should really find a new hobby because your socialization skills need some help!
