I recently updated two of my phones to Note 3's and now I have the worst coverage for phone service I have ever had.
I have been a customer for your coverage for quite a while. Since the upgrade to the Notes for my Wife and I we have continuous dropped calls in our home. We never experienced this before with any of our previous phones. I got rid of all my house phones because I had such dependable service but not any more. What gives with this model phone? We are about ready to leave Verizon. We need a dependable phones. All I get when I call Verizon is that they want to go through all this ** which I did and then they want to replace the phone. I might think that would be a problem except that both my wife and my phone are doing the same thing. Looking at coverage it says I am in the best zone so what can I do?
Unfortunately from my experience not much can be done from our end a clearly big red doesn't support the device. This was a direct quote from a service rep. I was told I am in an area of marginal coverage although I have been a customer for more than 10 years in the same area. I didn't have an issue until the 4.4.2 update. I have replaced sim cards received replacement devices and sent the phone I'm to Samsung for service. None of the above have solved the issue. So we either deal with the issue or upgrade the phone. Big red has been no help at all and it does make you want to change providers. As I was to Verizon just sells the phones and cannot help end user experience very frustrating. I have been dealing with dropped call, missed calls, poor signal, and missed text messages for months.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post:

I updated my software to 10.6.8 so I could sync my iPhone to iTunes but now when I try to open iTunes, it quits as soon as I open it. Are there any updates that will solve this?
This (Repair permissions) did not work. I am seeing that the "world" is having the same problem as I, and it it appears that Apple software people have been testing on us again. Well, I hope they see enough problems to justify working on it....

My phone has lines from top to bottom the screen has nothing , I tried to reset it many times also tried to reset with computer and nothing. I am having the same issue. ** MY IPHONE IS TURNING OFF RANDOMLY ** and it's driving me crazy.
THE SYMPTOM... I am using my phone fine and then when I go to send a text, take a photo, etc, it just turns off. This started a few weeks ago after upgrading to the new IOS. The 'symptoms' increased in frequency and my phone started turning off more frequently. I took my Iphone to the apple store. They reset the phone to factory standards and the problem still exists.
THE PROBLEM: The guy at the Genius Bar said he knows there is a known software issue, and this looks like it's affected my processor. BUT this was only after I told him that I have been reading about a lot of other people having the same problem.
THE SOLUTION: Are you having the same issue? ... Reply to this post and let me know. If a lot of people are having the same problem, Apple will probably just swap out the phones. My phone is in mint condition except for the new 'problem' its having after I upgraded my software. -

An update was downloaded and failed to install properly. When I tried to use the old Itunes, I get the message "The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer". I then received the message "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes"I tried reinstalling with the same error message. I then uninstalled the old version, downloaded the new version and still received the same message. How do I solve this problem?

I updated Flash Player, and now it says the plug-in is blocked...

I got a notice on Facebook that I needed to update my Flash Player.
Silly me, DID!
And now, it says the 'plug-in is blocked' and I need to update.
So I updated again. Still blocked.
I did a re-start after the update, thinking that might help. Nope.

I am not one to give up. So I called AT&T today. Now they are telling me they canceled my order because they were unable to fulfill my order. Basically, AT&T told me they sold out so they canceled my order so I can proceed to reorder again. It took them 4 days to realize this. I will be lucky if I get a new phone by Christmas. I am sure they will find a way to cancel my order again.
Again, I argued, how is this my fault. I placed my order at the store around 11 a.m. Pacific time. My friend ordered his phone online sometime after me. He got his but my order was canceled. AT&T tried to explain to me that they sold over 600,000 phones, almost 500 per minute during there peak. Again, I asked, how this was my fault.
I can understand over selling the phone. It is a great product. There is no reason to cancel my order. You adjust my order and tell me you will let me know when my phone will be in. I would have been mad that my phone was going to be late but I would have survived. At least I would be getting one.
At this point, I have no order and AT&T or Apple website will allow me to order one. I just want to get in the QUEUE for one.

I have recently updated my macs software then been onto Photo Booth and realised that all of my pictures/videos have been deleted and are not in iPhoto? Im not sure where they have all gone?Photobooth and iPhoto are two quite different apps with no connection between them. I'd try the Using Mac OS X forum for whatever version of the OS you have.

I have recently updated m iPhone 4 which was not used since months. It has to be updated from5.1.4 to iOS 7.0.4 and it has taken more than 15 hours to get started. Plz help me. It took about 5 to 6 hrs to prepare for updating.
I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems. -
I was updating to the current iso6 and forgot to click new phone in I-tunes when updating instead i clicked restore and now I have old info on my phone and all my current info is gone is there any way to get that info back.
Setting up as "new" will set the device as if it were just taken out of the box. This certainly would not restore any content that was on the device.
Sounds like what you want is to simply restore to a more recent backup. You did backup the device prior to updating correct? If you did not, it's unlikely that you can get the content back. -

Our phone contacts merged. Different iphones but now we have the same phone contacts.
Why and how do we get back to our own phone contacts?Apparently phone is synced over icloud.
So, since we both share the same account and both sync over icloud, I guess our contacts were synced.
I guess we are the only two people in the world who have two iphones on one account.
I did not see a way to separate contacts.

I guess we have to get separate itunes accounts and delete contacts manually.
While I'm here, glad to learn that all my apps are deleted on sync unless I check the box to NOT DELETE APPS ON SYNC.
Since the box is unchecked, I guess most people prefer to NOT sync their apps so by default people loose all their apps upon sync. -
I lost the ability to use wifi after the 8.02 update. Is there a way to fix this? I've already tried resetting network. Turned the phone off and on. Nothing is working and now I have to run on just data.

So sorry to hear about the trouble with Wi-Fi! Let's get that working the way it should. Could you provide us some more details regarding where this breakdown occurs? Are you having trouble with turning Wi-Fi on or connecting to your Wi-Fi? Are other devices connecting to your Wi-Fi without issue?
