I recently upgrade to an iPAD Air. I gave my old iPAD (1st gen) to my wife. I restored it to original factory conditions. Now we cannot install iBook on it since it requires iOS 7. What can we do with older iPADS that are still 100% functional.

Honestly I don't know if it's a Lion or MS problem eihter. I have been using Lion for many months with Office 2011 with no problems though.The earliest version I had on my machine was 2008 and 2011 opened those files with no problems at all. One thing you might want to do is restart the computer while holding down the Option key then select the Restore Volume and run Disk Utility and repair the Disk Permissions on the HD. Run DP at least 2x. -
I just downloaded the latest version of firefox (5.0). Can I delete all the older versions that are still on my drive?
When I call up some web sites sometimes the web site comes up 3 or 4 times...how do I stop this from happening? I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.
Large folders (actually, a folder in Thunderbird is stored as a file, so it is sensitive to file size limits set by the underlying file system) can be problematic. This is one reason not to let messages collect in one folder. I use Thunderbird's Archive folders so that accumulated mails over several years can happily coexist because they are effectively stored in many small folders. No single mail store folder then exceeds the 2GB or 4GB sizes that have been known to stress the OS. I appreciate that current builds of Thunderbird and a modern 64-bit OS should be able to cope, but practically I find it slows down when given huge files, so I err towards a pragmatic solution; a large number of not very big files.
Archives are searchable, and a Saved Search folder can give you a virtual composite folder allowing access to the entire Archive. -
What can I do with offensive ads that pop up on Facebook while using Firefox?
I have several problems with Firefox. When I am on Facebook there are several adds popping up on the sight for adult web sites. This is very offensive and what if a minor was using Firefox the same ads would appear. I also can be on any web site and and the page jumps to a new page for and ad. I do have a anti virus and malware remover so I know this is not my computer.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.<br />

I installed the new version of firefox, like requested. When went to boot up again, it crashed and I could only boot up on safemode. Then I did not have my printer or sound available either. Also did not have a version to restore to, like I had in the past. A friend told me to go to run and uncheck all startup menu and reboot. I did and here I am with another request to install a new version of firefox. Very afraid it will crash again. I have Windows 7
Please update to Firefox 19. If it crashes, come back here and we will give you information on how to get the crash Id's so we can fix what is making it crash.

I bought a new iPad Air and gave my old iPad 2 to my partner. If I add music or games etc to mine then they also appear on hers. Can i change ownership and passwords etc so they are individual iPads. Annoying when deleting one and also deletes other automatically an visa versa( add music to one and adds to other). I now hang a storage problems on iPad 2.

When I upgraded from v4 to v5 my bookmarks was lost. I do have the one that is in the firefox toolbar. Apparently I had a bookmarks add-on. V5 changed my browser how can I determine what the program was and if the bookmarks are still there?

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.

As already provided, if you don't have such in your iTunes library, on your computer, then there is no way to put it back on your phone. Apps are DRM protected, so even if you found a copy somewhere, you wouldn't be able to use it.

I have recently update my Final Cut Pro X to Final Cut Pro X 10.1. I downloaded the update from the app store. Now every time I open Final Cut it crashes almost instantly. What can I do?- I really need help!
It sounds as though you have a corrupt project - or possibly a file within an event that is causing the application to crash.
Quit FCP X, then move your projects and events (if you have any) to new folders so that FCP X doesn't find them, then relaunch the application. If it launches OK, there's a very good chance one of your projects or events is causing the problem.
Quit the app again, then move one event or project at a time back to the original folder and launch FCP X again - keep going until you find the cause.

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Questions' or 'iTunes Store account security' (it appears to vary by country) and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox).
