Assuming you have finished with your old backup.....
You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > backup & storage > manage......

That tip worked perfectly. It was awhile ago and I'm not totally sure, but I think this was discussed and the conclusion was that you can't delete texts using the external screen of the Env3. **Edit (Found one thread: http://community.vzw.com/t5/Messaging-Text-Picture-IM-etc/No-option-to-delete-text-messages-from-front-of-LG-enV3/m-p/43042#M1684 ) It came up in one other thread that I could find and the solution was to use the internal, and similar steps were given - the only difference was using the OK for Menu and #2 for Messages, rather than the left soft key for Messages. vWhatever works...
What you CAN do, is open the flip, left soft key (which is the Messages menu), and there are several options - these are the text messaging ones -
1. New Message
2. Inbox (#)
3. Sent (#)
4 Drafts (#)
Press the right soft key (options) and your choices are:
1.Erase Inbox
2.Erase Sent
3.Erase Drafts
4.Erase All
If you choose Erase All, then OK - it will erase all except unread messages, and locked messages. If you choose any of the numbers, then hit OK, it will erase ALL in that category, read or not, so I would choose Option 4 to erase all but the unread.

I've replied to several emails by way of my itouch 4th. Now I don't need those particular contacts anymore. They don't show up in my yahoo mail which is what I've been using. They are still in my contacts when I hit the write button on my touch. Is there a way of deleting those individuals I replied to? I don't want to have to restore the touch. The only way is to restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. I know that is not a desirable solution..

They can't be deleted because they aren't stored in their personal iCloud account (and as a result, don't take up any of their iCloud storage). They are stored in the iBooks store. The cloud symbols are just links to their previously purchased books so they can redownload them if they want.
If they don't want to see them, they can hide them in iTunes on their computer and they won't appear in the iBooks app on their devices. This explains how to hide them: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.

After I moved photos I went to delete the photo from the 'camera roll album' but when I did, it deleted the photos from the other album I moved the photo to. Navigate to the photo sheet page (the one with the thumbnails) tap the edit button in the top right corner, tap the photos you want to delete to select them, tap the delete button in the bottom right corner.

For outlook or hotmail emails they use a pop server technology that you can't sync your computer and your iPhone with. You have to unfortunately delete the emails from both devices. It is super frustrating but that is the only way.

Why is there no way to delete all emails from my iphone? IOS 7.1. Every other phone in the market allows you to 'select all' then delete.
This trick of selecting one, then holding move, then unchecking (and subsequently moving all the emails to trash) doesn't work. I've read these suggestions and while it appears to work the emails just show up again once you leave and return to the inbox. Perhaps it worked on an older version of IOS.
It blows my mind this is not a standard function. I get a few hundred emails at work every day, and most of the time I just want to delete all of them from the phone as I've read them already. Currently it seems i can only click edit and then have to check each email individually to be able to delete them at the same time; this is the definition of tedious. I would think there are millions of other iphone users who get their company email on their phones that must experience the same thing. It seems now i either spend 20 minutes a day deleting emails, or just let thousands of emails accumulate on the phone (taking up space and also making it hard to just review the most recent emails which is all I want to be able to do when checking email on my phone).
I am hoping I am just missing some simple solution here that everyone else uses. Please help!!

Only Apple could answer as to why there is no "select all/"delete all" function in the iOS mail app. Users have been bemoaning this lack of functionality for years now. Like everyone else, you can submit feedback to. Apple here.

While I understand the whole idea of being able to use the phone on the run, if you have an IMAP email account, and if you have access to a computer at work during the day, use your "select all" function on the server and delete all of the unwanted email there and it will be removed from the phone as well.
That doesn't solve the problem on the phone, but it gets rid of the email which is your ultimate goal anyway.

Nope, it either needs to be plugged in or turned on with the power button.
A replacement iPhone 4 is $149, but at least the whole phone is replaced.

Firstly you DO NOT have to do a factory reset / wipe device, it is simply not required to get the space back!!
Mine had 3GB and I just got rid of it all, here is how:
Make a backup in iTunes
open iBackupBot (Google it)
Go to the relevant backup
Click on Multimedia File Manager and click on the other Multimedia files tab
Sort by filename by clicking the Filename tab
Find MediaDomain/Library/SMS/Attachments and highlight all of them, then press delete. You can also click to export to a folder of your choice, if you want to save them that is.
Then go to System Files>MediaDomain>Library>SMS>Attachments
They will be all listed here, highlight them all and press delete
Then just restore that backup using iTunes!
Tadaa! Space recovered, your messages are still there but without the attachments!
P.S You may want to make two backups in case you get any of the above steps wrong, but it is simple to follow the above and not do anything wrong!

Let me explain:
In the clock app for ios 6.0.2 I am a little confused. It allows you to go into your music library, and create a ringtone using any songs you choose. However, I cannot find a way to remove a song from this list, just like I cannot delete one of the preset ringtones (which I'm not trying to do, but just as an example)
