I received a video on my phone and my message said to go to vzwpix.com to view it and all I get is a run around! how do you view a video?

Downloaded Movies in 'Videos' - How to get them to Mac mini?

I purchased 2 movies in iTunes and downloaded them - they went in to 'Videos' - How can I view these movies on my Mac Mini? I have checked that I am using the same username ID on the MAC as for the iPad, for cloud, but when I go to the MAC it shows music etc. but doesn't show the Movies purchase.

Sounds simple enough - I connected via usb the iPad to the MAC - I was asked about backing up the iPad to the MAC and went along with that -thinking I will be able to find the Movies and play them. But I can't find where the back up is. I also have not noticed any additions to the MAC. I have clicked on all drop downs and cannot see - 'Transfer Purchase ' under File on the MAC under the menu bar for iTunes or for MAC. I looked for 'Import' as well.
Any other ideas?
I have searched Apple help and none of the tips work...... I wonder why these movies don't show up in iTunes in 'Purchases' or 'Unwatched' ?????

How can I view just music - not videos - in the libary and playlists?

I've noticed that when creating smart playlists and viewing the libarary I cannot filter out videos... is there a way to do this without having to just uncheck the videos and pretend they aren't there or is this something that apple didn't think of?
I want to create smart playlists to listen to in my car and want to back up my library on dvd-roms, that is where this becomes a problem. If anyone knows how to change the settings so that videos don't show up in certain playlists or on the libarary I would appreciate it a lot.

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users. However, this Flash version won't work for many videos on Facebook, YouTube and other sites. Adobe's latest version, 10.2.x or later, is only for Intel Macs. Adobe will not provide a newer Flash version for PPC Macs.
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to Flash Player requiring an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I found a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

I used Puffin Free Browser. Worked perfectly with a 14 day free trial for Flash. It worked well for Flash videos so I would buy the full version.

How can i view videos (other then youtube) through safari?

if i wanted to watch a video on metacafe.com or news.com etc, how can i view them on my Ipod Touch, it seems the only online content is on the YouTube App.

As vgking96 explains, they pretty much have to be in that QuickTime friendly format. That said, I am at this moment watching the first video on the opening page of metacafe. I noticed as the clip loaded that the QT icon was showing, so just open the page and click on the video.
For those that do not come in this format, for example flash content, a small cube with a question mark will be displayed instead; and I cannot remember what is displayed for WMP (vgking96?).

It's possible the videos are in a format that is not compatable with iOS. You might check the app store for Picassa compatible apps, but no guarantee that would solve the issue.

If after turning on HTML5 you can't watch videos, download Flash > http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer Then, close Safari, install Flash and restart the MacBook Pro. Finally, try to watch a video in YouTube
