If the amount of the purchase is close to $21.07, then you need to take into account taxes may be added.
If you go beyond the credit from a gift card the balance will be billed to your credit card account.

Well no, not from my experience. Last night, with a balance of about $42 in the iTunes store (several gift cards this summer) I purchased a 4.99 app - credit card was charged, not the balance in the iTunes store.

Has anyone had the bug where their Touch displays the 'play' icon even though it is not currently playing any music? Mine does this intermittently, and apparently for no reason.

AlexWas going to start a new topic on this, er, topic but found this thread in a discussion search. I find it kind of annoying - I am constantly checking to make sure nothing's playing to avoid running the battery down. Not a big thing, but ideally they'll fix it in a future update.

Nonesense, why would a service that offers redeemable cards as cash would require a credit card verification. Who is answering this question? I am sick of Apple! I am here because I want to buy music for the year end festivities and had this card that I got when I bought a very pricey Mac Book Pro for my daughter, I thought at least I was getting something out of an outrageously high priced machine, but no, they cant' just make things easy for you... Anyway, no one seems to be reading this so I am not wasting my time anymore, useless...

I have gift cards that were entered into my account. I since have destroyed the cards and no when i try to purchase music it is asking for the card information. I show a balance, what do i need to do?

I just received a brand new iPod touch as a gift. But when I try to play music on it the speaker is extremely slow. When I plug in headphones I hear nothing. Tried multiple headphones. Tried a restore. It never dropped or anything

You said you restored the iPod. Was the restore successful, that is, it went though all the steps without errors?
Try a restore to factory settings/new iPod if yuhave not doe so so far.
Are you using the headphones that came with the iPod? Are you inserting the plug fully
Have you tried another set of headphones in the iPod?

every since i upgraded to win8.1 its going on 3 week since i have been able to to use the 3d feature in cs6cc at all . i have done everthing possible cant find a good fix tried so many . its most aggrevating considering its a 30 day with 6 day left. have been able to do what i want. Why is this. worked just fine on windows 7. please help i am critical on going postal.
Have you updated your video card driver from the GPU maker's website?
The drivers that shipped with Win 8 are pretty out of date (and buggy). -

I created two iTunes accounts: one for business purchases and one for personal. However, when I try to purchase an iBook on my personal account only the business account information appears, and my business password is requested. How can I select a different account depending on the type of purchase I am making?
You would have to sign out of the store with that AppleID and sign in with the alternate AppleID.
Settings -> iTunes & App Stores -> tap the Apple ID showing, logout, then login.
Beware thought that you can only change a device's AppleID association once every 90 days.

I live on an island (Guernsey) under the jurisdiction of the UK. But when i try to purchase anything it says postal code not accepted!
Please help!As I say, I haven't done this in a long time, so not sure if it still works, but it's just the postcode that causes the problem. The Apple system doesn't appear to get upset that the billing address isn't strictly correct, as the card details still work for them to get your cash....... I think any UK postcode will work, it just happens that I used "GU" instead of "GY"......

I have all my music on an external media drive that has crashed. How can I get the music of my ipod touch back onto the comupter without loosing the music when it syncs. in order to start rebuilding my music collection?
You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new library but it is not something I've personally tested.
When you get it all working, make a backup!
