I reinstalled a fresh windows so is there an msi software download area?

So the other day something froze on my GT60 2PC, so I shut it down (not force shut down, the proper way to shut down) and when I turned it back on it somehow corrupted, so long story short, I now have an msi notebook with a fresh install of windows (tbh i dont mind reinstalling anyway, I had too much bloatware...), and those buttons at the top like the dragon gaming center; display dimmer; and that dvd player software button (that i doubt anyone uses)(the cooler boost button still works though +1).
Is there somewhere I can like uh download them? somewhere with all the msi software download like super charger; gamecaster and stuff...
sorry i cant really be bothered to search too much and stuff, really poopy internet :( thanks in advance

Some pre-installed programs are not available from the MSI website, but if you have the recovery disk made by MSI BurnRecovery tool, then you can restore the system and have them back, otherwise you'll need to send it to the service center for a system restore or get the iso files from someone else who has the same model like you.
*Gamecaster is not available from MSI website, but if you already redeemed the 6-months free license, you can just download and install it from the XSplit webiste.https://www.xsplit.com/products/gamecaster?lang=en

how can i remove windows 7 and reinstall a fresh copy of windows 7

Assuming you installed Windows in a Boot Camp partition, start up Boot Camp Assistant and select the menu item to remove Windows and return the drive to a single partition. Then run Boot Camp Assistant and select the menu item to install Windows 7.

  • Install fresh windows 7

i simply wanted to install a fresh windows 7 that came with my DV6 Laptop. usually the install effects ONLY the drive "C" but what happend the installer wiped out every thing on my hard disk and reformatted the whole disk !! and of course i lost all of my data ... !!!
    MY QUESTION
for next time I install the windows there is any way that i can install a fresh windows without reformatting the whole hard disk ?
I use the the windows DVDs that i created earlier from the original HP recovery media

    Hi:
Some HP recovery programs allow you to do a minimal recovery (OS only), and some do not.
If you were not given any options to select the type of recovery you wanted to perform, then your set will only do a full re-partition, reformat, and reinstall.

  • Toshoba Soft for Fresh windows Vista install

Hi, I am thinking of reinstalling Windows Vista Home Premium fresh on my laptop.
If I wipe the whole HD and install windows Vista or full Win 7 on it, is there a Toshiba Software bundle that I candownload for Satellite, essential for the laptop functions to run?
I have recovery Disks, problem is I downloaded Vista to Win 7 updater and Ran it , I thought all update was going to be doe online.Until it asked me to pop in Win7 update disk....which is nowhere mentioned until that point.
I reverted back to latest sys-restore, but certain applications are broken and not repairable, also messed up sounds and Video jitter freezes time to time.
(Not on website nor during updater that YOU NEED A WIN 7 DISK TO COMPLETE THE UPGRADE. Would it be so hard to mention it somewhere? Anyways that's another story which happened a while ago.)

  • How do you reinstall 64-bit Windows 7 in UEFI mode?

I have a PC with a single hard disk and, a while ago now, I installed 64-bit Windows 7 on it in UEFI mode.
The disk has two primary partitions: a C: partition which contains my Windows 7 system and other installed software such as Office, and a D: partition which contains only personal data.
(In other words, I don’t have a multi- or dual-boot system.)
I now wish to reinstall 64-bit Windows 7 into the same C: partition, again in UEFI mode.
There is a procedure for reinstalling Windows 7 documented on the following MS Web page:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/installing-reinstalling-windows#1TC=windows-7
in the section entitled “Using the Custom installation option without formatting the hard disk”.
The following YouTube video demonstrates this procedure:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fr_s29MWOA0
    and it looks relatively straightforward.
Essentially, the re-installation starts by inserting the installation DVD into the optical disk drive and running setup.exe while still logged on to Windows 7 with an administrator user ID.
At the screen entitled “Where do you want to install Windows?”, both the System Reserved partition (the example in the video is a legacy BIOS installation) and the C: primary partition are visible.
On that screen, you simply select the C: primary partition and click
Next, and Windows 7 is effectively reinstalled over Windows 7.
Any personal data in the C: partition is preserved in a folder called Windows.old.
The big question is, does this procedure work for a UEFI installation?
The documentation does not state that it works only for a legacy BIOS installation.
If I were to follow the procedure, when I reach the screen entitled “Where do you want to install Windows?”, I would expect to see the EFI System Partition (ESP), the Microsoft Reserved Partition (MSR), my C: primary partition and my D: primary partition.
Can I simply select the C: primary partition and click Next to start the (re-)installation?
It appears that nowhere in the procedure do you specify what mode of installation (legacy BIOS or UEFI) is required.
Does the installation setup simply use the same mode as that of the existing installation?
Does anyone have any experience of reinstalling Windows 7 in UEFI mode, using this procedure or any other method?

    Hi,
It depends. Do you have Windows 7 DVD? Does your computer have a Boot from EFI Drive option?
Windows 7 DVD can boot in either BIOS mode or UEFI mode. Different UEFI firmware implementations support different methods for handling the installation operation. The processes for booting the computer into UEFI mode for the Windows product DVD are
the same. If you can find a boot from EFI Drive option, please perform the suggestions as i referred to.
If you cannot find any boot option, perform the steps below:
Use Device Manager's Firmware option and select Boot from EFI Internal Shell.
Use the EFI internal shell, as follows:
Start the EFI internal shell from the EFI boot menu and select the drive with the Windows product DVD. The following example assumes that the drive is Fs0:
    Shell> Fs0:
Start the EFI boot application. For example, on an x64 system, run the following command:
    fs0:> \EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.EFI
After the application starts, you may be immediately prompted to press a key to boot from the drive to continue. Press a key to continue booting from the installation media.

  • Where can i get a FRESH Windows 8 iso? (LEGALLY)

    Hey guys,
I wanted to know where you can get a Windows 8 iso, NOT a upgrade iso.
I already did some googleing, and http://www.redmondpie.com/download-windows-8-iso-x86-x64-file-directly-from-micr osoft/ this website seemed to tell me you can get it by downloading a file from Microsoft and just entering a product Key.
However, for this i think you actually need a Windows 7 , because it is an UPGRADE iso, not a fresh system-builder iso.
So i was wondering, where can you get a fresh Windows 8 iso to install on my MacBook, which doesn't have Windows 7?
Or can you use the iso described in remondpie and use it to install Windows 8?
    Thanks!
PS According to many people, the new MAcBook Air (2013) which i have does not work really well when you install windows with a CD. That's why i'm trying to use a USB and iso to download it.

iso is just a 100% bit by bit image of an optical disc
there are millions of free programs which will make an iso file out of an optical disc in a few minuts

  • [Serious BUG] Youtube crashes to death; fresh Windows 7 install; firefox and plugins updated; plugin-container.exe disabled; noway

This happens to me and to two friends of mine. So it's hardly a coincidence.
I have done a fresh Windows 7 install (for other reasons) so I thought this problem (which I had since about version 8.0) would disappear. I was wrong.
    Firefox and plugins are updated:
    Firefox 13.0
    Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300
GPU video drivers are also updated.
I came across the "plugin-container.exe solution" but it didn't solve the problem.
    How to reproduce the bug.
Visit Youtube and click on some video. Minimize Firefox. Wait some seconds. Next time you restore the window Firefox crashes, you have to kill plugin-container.exe from the task manager OR you have to restart the entire browser in case you've disabled the plugin container.
The same bug should occur when having various tabs open and one of them is Youtube with a video playing. But also when Firefox has no focus and you have other windows on top of it (and a Flash video running or even paused).
    Since this does happen:
    -with a fresh install;
    -with everything updated;
    -even disabling the plugin controller;
it seems very very strange to me that this problem is STILL present since version 8.0 (or even before) and that there is so few reports of this bug around the internet.
I'm not complaining here, I'm just showing my perplexity about almost noone having this bug which is ruining my (and my friends') Firefox experience since the past years.
    My purpose here is:
    * to let you know about this problem;
    * to know if other are experiencing it;
    * hopefully to keep giving support to this thread and answer to your questions about this bug so to help this thing being fixed;

For problems that occurred with Flash 11.2 and earlier, you might want to consider disabling graphics hardware acceleration in both Flash and Firefox.
    '''Flash'''
Right-click any video in Flash Player and choose Settings.
Clear the checkbox for "Enable hardware acceleration"
    '''Firefox'''
Save all work (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
    Restart Firefox.

  • Web Start doesn't work on Fresh Window XP!!

I have a fresh Windows XP professional just installed with latest service pack 1a. I downloaded the latest JDK 1.4.2 and NetBeans3.5.1. After installation, I can not find any Web Start icon. There is a javaws folder (C:\j2sdk_nb\j2sdk1.4.2\jre\javaws) and when I click javaws.exe, I got a message saying: Bad installation, no JRE found in configuration file.
Anyone knows why and what to do?
    Thanks.
    Ling

yes - if you install the netbeans IDE, you get an SDK w/o a public JRE.
in 1.4.2, webstart would not work w/o some public jre installed on a system.
to resolve just install the jre.

  • I just got error message 7 windows error 126...telling me to reinstall itunes.  Do I have to uninstall itunes before downloading again?

I could not open my itunes app.  error message said that itunes was not installed corretly and to reinstall itunes.
error 7 windows error 126.  Do I have to I have to uninstall itunes from my computer first before reinstall itunes.
Any other programs need to be removed?  Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated as I can
not go to my library or to the istore.  Thanks Janinemail

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?
If you still have the same error messages cropping up, then try the procedures from the following user tip:

  • Acrobat 6.0 and Windows 7 - is there a PDF printer driver available?

    Hi,
I have been using Acrobat 6.0 with Windows XP fine. However, I just got a new computer that has Windows 7.
I installed Acrobat 6.0 but cannot now convert any documents to PDF on this new computer. I get this error--
"The PDF maker cannot find the Adobe PDF printer driver and to reinstall Adobe Acrobat 6.0"
However, reinstalling Acrobat 6.0 does not help, nor does the repair feature.
Is There a patch for this product? Can I download a driver for the PDF printer so that it is compatible with Windows 7?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have Acrobat 6 as well and just upgraded to windows 7. Can't afford Acrobat Version 9 either. From what I understand, only Windows 7 PROFESSIONAL, ULTIMATE or ENTERPRISE editions can you run most Windows XP productivity programs in Windows XP Mode(separate download). At least that's what I read here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/windows-xp-modeI wonder if that will help you. I unfortunately only have STARTER edition.
*The following text is copied and pasted from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/windows-xp-mode
Windows 7 Feature has a Windows XP Mode
It's the best of both worlds: The new Windows XP Mode lets you run older Windows XP business software right on your Windows 7 desktop.
Designed primarily with small- and medium-sized businesses in mind, Windows XP Mode comes as a separate download and works only with Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise. Windows XPMode also requires virtualization software such as WindowsVirtual PC. Both are available free on the Microsoft website.
To download Windows XP Mode or learn about its system requirements, visit the Windows Virtual PCwebsite.
Windows XP Mode, available for the Professional and Ultimate editions of Windows 7, helps prevent older business programs from becoming obsolete.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes numerous times and keep getting the message it reinstalled incorrectly stating windows Error 127.  I am using windows 7

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
You may have more success if you use the advice in the Install missing components section to break down the installer into its component .msi files and install these in alphabetical order.

when I installing, there are error as cannot find something look like "Apple Mobile Device" then when I did script it and finished install. and when I open iTune, it doesn't work and pop up error as "Please reinstall iTune error7(windows error 126)
anyway I used to use iTune before but since I tried to up date new version last week it cannot open.
    BR,

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

  • Updating ipod on fresh Windows install without losing data?

    Hey guys.
I have an 80gb iPod Classic, and my iTunes had about 72gb worth of data in the playlist. Recently I had to reformat my system drive and do a fresh Windows install, and as such my iTunes playlist obviously got wiped. If I readd everything that was on my iPod into the playlist, will iTunes try to wipe my iPod and transfer everything over again, or will it recognize that the files are exactly the same and only copy the new files over that weren't originally on it?

If your iPod is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Once the iPod is in manual mode you can add to it without losing any content but you will have to drag it from the library yourself: Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone
However once you are safely connected you can copy content from the iPod to iTunes. There are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

iRepo Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod Access Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
TouchCopy Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content only from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.
I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive
