You might also want to run the Acrofix patch from : Doesn't launch after 30 days | Installed as part of a CS6 suite and check.

Apps opening first time after restart crash but reopens ok

Applications (Mail, Archive Utility, TextEdit and many misc ones) opening for the first time after a restart crash but then re-open ok.
This repeats again after a restart.
They all open ok on the second try.
The same applications can open ok the first time after a restart but different ones then crash but open ok after a second try.
I have not tried another account yet.
Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks for the response.
Start apps mostly from Overflow.
Trashing Overflow prefs and Finder prefs did not help.
Also Archive Utility SOMETIMES quits first time:
/System/Library/CoreServices/Archive Utility.app
Next time I will check the Console and post the contents.

Reinstalling Cluster after Servers crash

We have 2 node 11gR2 cluster on windows Storage is on SAN (ASM)
If both nodes in cluster crash but storage is working fine. OCR and VOTEDISK are on ASM, how can we recover cluster using same OCR and VOTE.

Restored tabs after a crash are very old tabs, not my last session: how to fix this?

Whenever Mozilla crashes, which is often, my most recent session is NOT restored!! I get the oops page with 2 options: restore session or start new. I click restore session and instead of bringing me back where I was with the video I was watching that crashed in the middle, it brought me to about 12 videos prior! :-/
Can you guys fix this on your end? Surely it must be a Firefox glitch as this is new of this week: all 3 times my internet has crashed as done this whereas in the past, I'd be restored right where I left off. This is a huge problem: I nearly had ebay automatically purchase the same thing again due to reopening to a purchase page tab that had ALREADY BEEN CLOSED and my newer tabs from session that crashed with all my work (composing at blog or forum posts) are nowhere to be found. HELP, please!

Where is the iPhone from?
I think your iPhone is locked to an original carrier, you need to contact them about unlocking and if you qualify.

Problem reinstalling photoshop CS6 after a crash

My computer crashed last week. I had to change the motherboard and the main drive where software was installed.
when installing Cs6 from the original disk it says my serial number is correct but in my computer there is no valid product for this serial number.
The disk is the original one, the serial number is the one I have in my adobe account and in the back of the box
I cannot deactivate the previous installation as the trial version give you no access to this option.
I had a chat with support service but they were not able to help me and redirected me to a phone number.
¿Can someone help me?

Sounds like your problem isn't one of activation but of having Photoshop properly installed.
You may need to go through a reinstall or possibly a complete removal followed by a reinstall.

How do I get all the content on my IPod to sync with itunes after I reinstalled itunes after computer crashed, folders and songs no longer match?

My computer crashed back in Feb or March of this year and I just recently reinstalled itunes on it. Once reinstalled itunes updated software. Once this was all done I noticed that alot of songs on my IPod were no longer in itunes. Also, the folders in itunes no longer matched what are on my IPod. itunes says the computer is active for itunes and many songs on my IPod are on itunes but many are missing. How do I get itunes to just sync and match what is on my IPod to include all songs and folders. Many of the missing songs on my IPod and not in itunes are ones I purchased from itunes so they should have them. I am getting very discouraged with itunes. I tried to do a support call and pay the fee to have them call to address but I am stationed oversees and they would not accept my overseas number as valid.
Any help is greatly appreciated. As stated, I just want the music now on itunes to match with my IPod to include folders. Seems music got lost. Any suggestions how to back up the music so if this happens again I do not have this issue. I figured itunes would have my music or at a min just sync up what is on my IPod.

Some of the tools linked to will only work if the iPod has a valid library. Others can scan the drive independently and some may even be able to rebuild a damaged library. The manual method towards the end should be able to recover your media regardless of the state of the library.

I bought Adobe Photoshop elements 10 and installed it successfully on my computer. My computer broke down after a while, and I have tried to reinstall it but the Serial number was not accepted. What can I do to be able to reinstall my softwear?

The program will install from CD as many times as you wish
It will only ACTIVATE according to the license... I think you are allowed two installs, the theory being your "base" computer and a laptop
If you have problems during activation, you will have to call Adobe and tell them your previous install was not DE-activated, so they may help you with a new activation

my comuter crashed and i had to start from scratch. i reinstalled itunes and everything was fine. so there's nothing in my itunes library but all the old songs from my ipod do show up as playlists. How can i move my playlists onto the itunes library bc it is not letting me do so..

From your registered products on your account, the disc package, some place where you wrote it down and kept it safe. If non of this applies and you didn't take care of your serial, then nobody can help you, not even support. They don't know, either, what you haven't told Adobe in teh past.

Reinstalling CS6 (after a Windows reinstall)

I've got CS6 currently. I'm looking to resintall Windows 7 Ultimate (I had some issues that while resolved, suggest a reinstall would be a wise idea), and I'm wondering how hard (or easy) it'll be to reinstall my copy of cs6. I've never had to do this, so I'm sort of "fumbling in the dark" as it were. If anyone has any suggestions or tips, or if I've somehow missed anything and just need to be pointed right, let me know! Are you going to format the hard drive? If so in PS click Help/Deactivate first. After install click on Activate.

Reinstall Itunes after disk crash

Maybe a simple question for You, but not for me :o)
Three weeks ago the disk on my HP Pavilion DV8 crashed. The operatingsystem is Windows 7.
Today I received y HP with a new harddisk, and a new Windows 7 installation.
After having installed a lot of programs, I also install Itunes.
But what will happen the first time i connect my Iphone 3GS?
Will al data on the phone (contacts, calendar data, applications and so on) be delete on the Iphone?
What to do to save all I have?

You need to copy everything from your backup copy of the old computer to the new one.
When you sync the itunes content ( apps/music/vid) will be erased and replaced with content from the new computer.
If you sync contacts and calendars to a blank computer, then those will be erased as well.
One of the many reason that always maintaining a backup copy is so basic, is the very situation.
Use your backup to put everything on the new computer.
