2) Yesterday I made the subclips with the In-Out Points and Command-U, the benefit is that I've seen the clip before naming it. Now I'm using markers, it's benefit is that I can write comment and (the later) clip name at once, the drawback is that I have to view to the next shot's beginning before knowing what the shot contains.
But now I found out that I can reconnect my clips independently to the format I converted the master clip to. I reconnected the media to the original AVI file and it worked, too! The more I work with, the more I'm sold on it... - although it doesn't seem to be able to read and use the date information within the DV AVI.
1) Ok, I tried something similar within FCE. Just worked, but the file size still remains. Which codec settings should I use? Is the export to DV in MOV with a quality of 75% acceptable for both file size and quality? Or would be encoding as H.264 with best quality an option for archiving, knowing that I have to convert it back to DV if I (maybe) wan't to use it for editing later? Or anything else?

I have an ipad 2 WiFi. I was in the hospital having surgery and forgot my password. I tried several times but couldn't get it. I ended up disabling my ipad. There are important pics n notes in there that I need. How can I get back into it without using iTunes (because I bought it second hand, off ebay) and without losing all my saved items. Please help me!
If it's disabled then it's too late to copy any content off it or to take a new backup, you will have to reset it back to factory defaults by connecting it to a computer's iTunes : Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
Have you been backing up to the cloud ? If you have then after resetting it back to factory defaults you can restore to that backup : Back up and restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support
If you bought it second hand then had the previous user removed their account from Settings > iCloud (and had Find My iPad enabled) on it ? My newly acquired macbook does not have Appleworks installed. The finder gives this info.....

thank you.....AppleWorks is not legally available for download. You would need to buy a copy. HardcoreMac.com still lists AppleWorks 6 on their website. You could also try eBay but you would need to make sure it is AppleWorks 6.2 or newer to install on OS X.

Trying to select green, but it defaults to gray and has the error symbol. What gives?
When I go to my channels, Gray is the only option, and if I try to add another channel, it fills black.

I have an iPod Touch fourth generation, but the screen has been cracked for a whle now and the bottom half of the screen doesn't respond to my touches. So therefore, I can not unlock/use the iPod. my ipod touch fourth generation was working at one moment and then when i went to unlock the screen and type in the passcode it would not let me swype the unlock button and when i turned it off and back on again and the passcode section popped up it would only let me type the 1, 2, and 3 buttons and now it is not letting me type at all. What do i need to do? The screen is also cracked but when i cracked the screen i was still able to see what i was doing and still able to use the ipod but this was before the keyboard and unlock button stopped working, I dont know if the screen being cracked would have anything to do with the keyboard and unlock button not working. - Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. Could be the crack progressed to the point thtt portions of the screen no longer respond to touch

Is iTunes Match still turned on on your iPhone? If not, you need to turn it back on.
If it is still on, go to settings, music app and turn off match- sign out of iTunes Store. Reboot iPhone, sign back into iTunes and turn on match. Poem music app. Does this help?

The app store can be rendered invisible if it's turned off in the restrictions.
Go to settings, general and scroll down to restrictions. If they're set, there'll be a passcode to enter. If you get in then you can see if the app store has been turned off. -
