can someone tell me why the sim card holder on my iphone3g will not go all the way in after removing sim it goes down but not flush with phone body

I received no error message. The application was just trying to find applications unsuccessfully.
I am using MAC OS 10.10.1
I tried to uninstall the application but it seems that a kind of deamon is still installed thus providing me to reinstall properly. Do you know where are the elements to remove in order to get my machine just like before ?
Otherwise I would have to reinstall everything and this would be a pain.

I read the article on how to remove Bing; however, it does not show up on my list of installed programs and it does not show up in the list of extenstions under "Tools" and "Addon" yet it is installed as an extention to the right of the addlress line.

Every time I switch on the iPhone, the iTunes icon is displayed together with a USB icon and Emergency call message appears on the screen in many languages. When I touch the i symbol I get the following information IMEI: **** AND ICCID: ****
However, the iphone is visible in the Devices directory in iTunes. I changed my SIM card but still can not be recognized by the iPhone.

Do you mean when you say its locked to another carrier other then the one im using, that maybe my insurance sent me an iphone thats for a different network for example orange and not mine which is o2?

Your sim may be a valid sim for where you live, but it appears your phone was hacked to work with that sim. Any attempt to update software or restore a hacked iphone will result in the phone being locked back to the carrier it was originally locked to. That appears to be what has happened to you. Only the carrier an iphone was originally locked to can officially unlock it. Your only choice is to contact that carrier and see if unlocking is available or sell the phone & buy one you can use where you live. There are NO officially unlocked iphones sold in India.

put the sim card in another phone
change the settings so the sim card don't require the sim pin code
put it back in the iphone
they don't support the pin code request at startup

I think you haven't told us the whole story. If the phone was working on multiple carriers before it was officially unlocked it was hacked to do so. If it wasn't, and you haven't seen the message "Congratulations. Your iPhone is unlocked" then you must still Restore iOS on it to get this message.

There's nothing unusual about that, as the SIM standard is not written to support external data exchanges. In order to synchronize your SIM-stored data, you must first copy or move each contact record into the memory location on your device reserved for contact records not stored on the SIM.
