I rented a movie and it disappeared...

I rented a movie and the next day when I wanted to watch it; it had disappeared. What should I do?
I've already tried resetting it and the movie is still not there.
Hope someone can help

Do you have the new Apple TV 2nd gen?
If so, there is no storage, only a small flash drive to cache streamed content. When you turn off the ATV or watch other content the rental is flushed requiring a reload.
Try going to the settings - iTunes store - check for rentals
Try navigating to the film again and see if you can hit play
