I rented a movie yesterday and its still downloading and it will expire in the time it says it will take to finish downloading what do I do?
How can I make the downloading process faster. Its half way done but it says it still needs 7 hours to finish. and the moive expires in 8!
Umm, you have like a month to watch a movie you rented. You only have to worry if you started to watch it already (while it was downloading)

I believe a rented movie is only accessable for 24hr after you start watching it.

I rented 4 movies yesterday but only 1 is now showing on my rental list, i went to re-download but it is not showing them under purchased. It does show that i paid for them all...any suggestions??
Delete the references to them in the iTunes library, and then download them.

i rented the movie Wraith of the Titans and it will not play. I very dissapointed that i wasted my money on something I cant watch. There is 3 hours left to watch and it still wont play. This is the last time i rent a movie, or buy one for that matter, from itunes.
I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -

Apple TV 2 with rebooting the iPhone 7.04 and iMac running Mavericks and rebooting TV etc today. Selected to rent a movie but it started to download and we lost it. Tried to rent again and was told it wasn't downloaded. Went to settings and only get spinning circle when I try to download the rental. Apple TV up to date and been renting all week since Thankgiving. Only 4.99 but making me nuts. Help anyone??

So far, I looked at your first solution, Revo Uninstaller and it gives you a 30 free trial. Ergo, it will eventually cost money so I'm leery of using those kinds of programs in general, meaning most "free trials" have unwanted strings attached and often are big probs to get rid of later. Perhaps you can assure me that it is easy and very user friendly, before I proceed. And I already ran malwarebytes and it found nothing tho the program still can't be uninstalled. I downloaded Adw Cleaner and during the install, my Norton's security popped up and warned that there were (low risk) threats with two of their "other offers" and i hadn't even actually clicked to agree either of them. Nonetheless, Norton warned me against the "lyrics finder" and "deal ply." In fact, there was a box already with an x in it, saying that you are accepting deal ply if you x on "next." Well, except I unchecked that box before clicking on next, yet when it went to fully install, it still showed that it was adding itself; so, just before the install was 100% completed, I had to abort the whole thing. I really do hope your other suggestions are programs that you personally know that they don't try and trick you. But right now, I would not suggest Adw Cleaner to anyone. I even read the fine print about what they will try and install and how to decline and it still tried sticking stuff on that i believed I had declined. Anyways, i have to leave now, shall pick up later this evening, if my pc is still functioning. -
I purchased a movie yesterday and started the download. The download seemed to hang up at about 90%. Finally, it showed that it was ready to watch, but the movie will not play. Download is apparently corrupt. How do I get a working version?
Depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the film from your iPad and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app (or the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes).
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download films, or if you have problems with the re-downloaded version, then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -
i dropped my iphone yesterday on its backside from my computer desk to floor.the distance is about 50cm. and it has a phone case. it did't work any vertical direction lock .then i restarted my phone, it recovered.but i am not sure is it ok ?
Good job with trying the two-button reset, that would have been my first advice for you. Next, I suggest you take the reset/update a step further. This step may risk losing the data on your phone, but since it's not working already, there may be no other solution.
On your computer, make sure you have internet acces and the latest version of iTunes installed.
Launch iTunes and connect the iPhone
Press and hold both sleep/wake and home buttons
After ten seconds, only release the sleep/wake button.
If you were successful, the iPhone screen should stay dark and the computer should display a popup.
If you see a message saying "iTunes has detected a device in recovery mode," then continue by clicking yes to each subsequent popup.
If the iPhone displays the silver Apple logo start over with step three of these instructions. -
We are using iPhoto '09 trying to import photos from a memory card. We stopped the import and ejected the card over 20 hours ago, but iPhoto says its still importing. Any idea how long the import should run if there were 5000 photos on the card?
Don't know how long it would take to import that many photos but if you stopped import and ejected the card ther is something else wrong here.
I would Force Quit iPhoto. Then Restart your mac. Then restart iphoto to see if any or all of your photos were imported. If they ae you're good to go. If they were not imported I would try importing fewer photos at a time and see what happens. -

i need to get my brothers itunes off his old phone i already reset it to factory settings but its still telling me i have to enter the apple id and password and we dont know it and doesnt remember the information that he put in itunes to do it
I guess that the only problem is, that the iphone is already connected / related (or whatever... I´m german) to an apple ID. and if he could go in the ITUNES account, he/they could get rid of that by DISCONNECTING
