As when there is a problem with any other software, contact the software developer for the app.

The Color Sync Utility is part of OSX and usually resides in the Application/Utilities folder.
Don't know how it appeared on your desktop.
But it is no malware, spyware or the like but as said part of OSX.

Safari and firefox stop working after a few minutes of browsing, regardless of what site I'm on. I have to restart my computer to get internet access again but it only works for a few more minutes, then I have to restart again. Please help!

I have to restart my computer to get internet access again but it only works for a few more minutes, then I have to restart again. I don't get a spinning ball, it just stops working at whatever page it's on. I can close the program just fine but when I re-open it, either safari or firefox, it freezes trying to load the hompage. This started a few days ago after trying to stream a movie on my computer. I'm on a Mac Air OS X Version 10.6.8 and have downloaded all updates. When I go into finder, it says I have over 80 gigs available. Is there some other memory cache that I need to check? Thanks so much for your help.

I'm not trying to belittle your issues; you're certainly having them and I know first hand how annoying an intermittent AirPort issue can be. (In fact, mine was due to an AirPort driver bug that no one else seemed to suffer from.)
The single best diagnostic you could do is take your system running 10.5.7 to an Apple Store, and try using their in-store network.
If your machine performs flawlessly, it may be a router issue.
If your machine has connectivity issues there, it may be a hardware problem with your machine.
There have been numerous people in multiple threads over the years who swore that an update was buggy because things used to work, but returned later to sheepishly admit that they took their machine in, a problem was found and fixed, and now their Mac works flawlessly with the newer software.
But simply reinstalling 10.5.5 in no way means the explanation of how firmware bugs may be at play here is incorrect.
In the context of that explanation, all you've done is possibly reinstall software that asks to add "2 + 3."

I have an article for you that can provide some helpful troubleshooting steps to address your issue:
No sound through stereo headset1
Inspect the headset jack for debris and clean if necessary.
Connect the headset and make sure the connector is pushed in all the way.
Check the volume setting. Adjust the volume by pressing the volume up and down button on the left side of the iPhone.
If you are trying to listen to music and cannot hear any audio, make sure that the music on iPhone is not paused. Try squeezing the headset microphone to resume playback. Additionally, from the Home screen you can choose iPod > Now Playing, then tap Play.
Make sure the latest version of iTunes is installed on the computer that you are syncing the iPhone with (songs purchased from the iTunes Store using earlier versions of iTunes won't play).
Try another Apple headset (some third-party headsets require an adapter to be used with original iPhone).
Try a different song or video.
Check to see if the iPhone alert sounds or other iPhone sound effects exhibit the same audio issues.
Disconnect the headset from the iPhone and see if sound comes from the built-in speaker.

Clearly you can not update 10.9 if you do not have 10.9
It is very easy to find, it is in the App Store as the picture I posted earlier displays. Follow the same instructions. If you can't then use THIS LINK which will take you there.
The current version of 10.9 is 10.9.5 and that is what you will get.

Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

If yu go to iTunes>Prefernces>Devices does the date/time of the iPod backup corespnd to when yur started the backup or before?
Didyou backup via USB or to iCloud?

UBE filters are not running a batch file as
an external program. The batch file is located in the postoffice spool
directory and has the correct permissions.

Change the RUN command to REJECT to check that it was actually triggered.

Correcting the UBE filter in filter.cfg to read as follows cures the problem:

The following also works:

The reasoning behind this is that batch files are scripts for CMD.EXE, the
NT Shell, and therefore cannot be executed directly. CMD.EXE has the /C
switch to run a following command, or batch file, and exit on completion.

Another solution would be to write an executable program in BASIC or any
other chosen language to perform the same functions. However, do compile it to an
executable before trying to use it since, for example, a *.BAS file will
run in Windows but it means nothing to Messaging Server.

Look at the documentation of Runtime.exec()
There are versions of that method that allow you to specify the name of an executable (the name of your batch file) and also an array of strings with environment parameters. I've never used this myself, but it should work like this (lookup the documentation!):

The "about:tabs" message always appears. The close button appears inactive so checking the "don't show this again" option doesn't work.

I am running Firefox 3.6.13 under windows/xp. All of a sudden, when opening a new tab the "about:tabs" message comes up all the time. I checked the box labeled "do not show this message again" but the "close" box seems to be inactive. Pressing it has no affect so apparently the option to suppress the message is not set. The new tab must be closed manually.

I lost several App Icons after install of 3.0 upgrade. Facebook, Tweetie, Birdhouse and a few others are no longer on the home screen, but they do sync through iTunes and I can access them if I move the home screen to the right (to show the spotlight search screen) and I can open them, the icons just won't show up. It is very inconvenient, hope Apple creates a fix for this soon.

My ipod nanos are not being recognized in iTunes. I have tried everything! Changed the drive letter, the disk to FAT32, resetted it, downloaded itunes again, but nothing has worked! HELP please.

Somehow my nano now lost all its music so now its empty! Also, before windows used to recognize my ipod and i'd get a pop up saying "open to view files" but now I don't even get that anymore. When you connect your iPod to your PC, what appears on the iPod's display? Does the iPod charge when you have it plugged into the PC?
Are you running the latest version of iTunes (10.6.3)? It wouldn't hurt to also make sure your Windows OS has all of the latest patches and updates as well.
I assume you have plugged the iPod ino different USB ports located directly on your PC and tried using another 30 pin dock connector cable to rule out the possibility of a bad cable?

"Send Again" Function doesn't work. Apple Mail Mac OS 10.8.4

Hello there! I have an Apple Mail running under Mac OS 10.8.4. I often use the "Send Again" function, I just edit the date and added some notes on it and it works perfectly for my daily reports! However, these past few days it seems so odd. By using the said function I can no longer edit the message. And while I'm trying to close the new Mail window that I have open from the Send Again function it won't let me do so. So I forcibly quit the Mail and re-open it again. And upon re-opening application the mail was on the draft and that message area was blank already. I have to re-type the message again. I tried the Rebuild function but same problem persist. I ready reformatted my Mac and just returned the Mail folder inside the ~/Library to have a fresh preferences file, however same problem occured. I cannot find any solution on the web. Please help. Thanks in advance!

The same problem has appeared after upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mavericks. Opening the email allows me to use the Send Again function but it used to work after just highlighting the email in the list.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.
