Almost 10 years with Mozilla FF. Why should I now make more changes to PDF readers? It works with explorer. I reloaded Adobe (already installed) should I uninstall Adobe? but it works with other browser.
Delete the history was painful (I could back at least 5 years). After uninstalled FF 3 times, finally I use REVO
The problem on ly exist with the BANK STATEMENT (first time opened OK then ...blank. Should I blame the bank? It opens with EXPLORER. Until yesterday evrything was ok.

Hi Gerard, have you switched from using the built-in PDF viewer to the Adobe Acrobat viewer? This article has the steps for that if you haven't tried it, and also shows where you can confirm which ones is being used: [[How to disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer]].
When saving a PDF using the ''built-in viewer'', use the Download button on the toolbar above the PDF (looks like a downward pointing arrow). This may be more reliable than the Save Page As command.
When saving a PDF using the ''Adobe Acrobat viewer'', as you move the mouse pointer down the document, a floating toolbar should appear with a disk icon. (Or if you press the Esc key, a toolbar should appear above the document.) Use the disk icon on the Adobe Acrobat toolbar to save the document.

Pdf pages display blank in safari

Using Safari, when I go to a webpage with a .pdf URL the page is blank. I recently upgraded to Lion and purchased/installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro (I was using Acrobat 7.0 with Snow Leopard). The only to access these types of pages is by trying to download linked file (which sometimes doesn't work).

Quit Safari. Look in the /Library/Internet Plug-ins folder (not the home folder).
If you see anything with PDF in the middle of it, drag that file to desktop. Then re-start Safari and enjoy.

Problems Trying to Save as a Word Document.

The primary reason I purchased Pages was for it's proclaimed ability to open Word documents, edit them, and resave them as Word documents.
I've managed to open my Word document and edit it, but the only option I have is "Save Version" when trying to save it.
I used the help feature and here's a screen shot of the instructions and me trying to follow them:
As you can see the only option is "Save a Version".

Time spent looking through the Menus and Inspectors will be well rewarded.
iWork's are probably the most logical of any program, working from the overall document down to details, from left to right and believe it or not the titles on both the Menus and Inspectors mean what they say.

Save the file as a new name. Close and Open the new file.
Most likely when a file transfer happens, Office makes the file 'Read Only'.
If you have two opened files with the same name, the last opened file will be 'Read Only'.

Issue with users trying to save reports to thier Documents on one drive.

I am working
on a 2013 SharePoint environment and users who use Power View reports. I
have a user who can create reports on a site I have set up (no problems
there). They can also save reports to PowerPivot Gallery they have added
in their Newsfeed for their personal site (no problems here). The problem
is when they try to save the report and go to Documents on one Drive it fails
with below error message. I am an admin but can save just fine to my
documents. I know the error shows an access issue but not sure where or
how to resolve this issue for users. <o:p></o:p>
P.S. the
issue happens before they even save button it happens when they see the My
Documents and try to open it. Again it is there personal SharePoint site
so not sure why they would not have access.<o:p></o:p>

Hi Ken,
It's strange that the User Profile Service Application is not available there. Please use PowerShell to check it, and you can run the command below:
Get-SPServiceApplication | where-object{$_.DisplayName -like 'User Profile*'}
Please ensure you are connecting to the correct farm, and open PowerShell with administrator permission. Meanwhile, add a test user in your Active Directory, and test to see whether the user's My Site can be created.
If the User Profile Service Application can be listed by PowerShell, and the new user's My Site can be created, there might be an UI issue in your Central Administration. Otherwise, you may consider to recreate or restore your User Profile Service Application.

PDF document first page is blank when executing in background

Hi,
I am creating spool before displyaing report output by using GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS and NEW PAGE PRINT ON option and displaying report header and report final internal table. calling NEW PAGE PRINT OFF
finally i am sending mail, by using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 function module in foreground executing and background execution.
When we execute in foreground i am recieveing mail and pdf is perfect.
when we execute in background i am recieveing mail. But when i opend the pdf document in mail, PDF doucment first page is balnk and second page onwards i am able to see the report output
why the PDF first page is blank when i execute the same report with same variant in back ground.
Please help me in this issue.

I loaded up your PDF file which is simple text but more than 5000 pages into Reader 10.3 on my iPad 3. I had exactly the same results as you. The pages are blank.
It could be read fine in Acrobat Pro X on my Macintosh.
But then I also loaded it in PDF Expert on the iPad, and I could read it.
I think this is one for the Adobe engineers to look at. Reader 10.3 is not handling very large file sizes well.

Using IE 10 opening or trying to save file using the link cause IE to restart

I am using IE 10 and adobe reader 11.0.4 . ie When I try to open or save a PDF I get a message IE has stopped and checking on line for solutions and then just restarts IE. I have checked a similar post which mentions editing the registery but when I check it doesnt have that setting. I am also using windows 7 32 bit.

Copied text (or other copied material) is on the Clipboard, but only until you copy something else or log out of your account. If you act before doing another copy, you can paste the copied material back into the document. If you don't act right away, you may still have a path back.
One of the most useful keystroke combinations on the Mac is the "Oops! key," as a friend of mine once named it. That's command-Z, also known as "Undo". In some applications it will let you undo only a single step, but in others, including Pages, you can do repeated undos, so it's not quite so essential that you act immediately on making an error. Undo, done via the Oops! key, or via the Edit menu takes you back one change at a time. You can't skip any steps, so to get back to the state before the accidental deletion, you'll have to undo any work you've done since then. The memory of what to Undo disappears when you close the document or quit the application.
At that point you're at the mercy of your backup plan. If you've had Time Machine running, you'll be able to enter Time Machine and go back to an earlier, saved version of the file.
All these are in addition to the steps Ian suggested above.

PS: Best piece of advice I can give a new Pages user (beyond Backup early and often) is to download and read through the first few chapters of the Pages '09 User Guide, available through the Help menu in Pages '09. Mostly pretty easy reading, and will get you through the basics without much trouble.

Just got the iPad mini. Why can't I view my Facebook profile? (I'm using the Facebook app) I can open my News Feed but when I go to my page, it comes out with a notice "page doesn't exist, or you don't have permission to view this page" HELP!

It's frustrating to not be able to view my own Facebook page using the iPad mini. I have the iPad 1 and the Facebook app works fine there, I can see my personal FB page with 1. Is this characteristic of the iPad mini only?

Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If none of those work, delete the app and install it again.

what are the details the bank statement should contain inorder to do posting to bank and clear the document of F110.
i hope the bank statement should contain document number (F110 document). along this what are the details it should contain inorder to process EBS correctly?

In the standard process F110 puts the payment document number in the payment file and the bank copies it into the MT940 file.
So you should take a payment file and the corresponding MT940 for checking the presence of the document number. If you have some problem, please give more information: the bank country, the solution for F110: RFFO* programs or DME engine, ...

Pdf pages won't open

I took MacWorld's advice and downloaded Schubert's pdf browser plug-in. I followed the directions exactly, but then i couldn't open pdf pages in either Safari or Explorer. I then took the pdf browser plug-in out of Library/Internet Plug-in folder. Now I can open pdf files in Safari, but Explorer still gives a message:"Explorer doesn't know how to open this file". Any suggestions?

Based on your requests, you're in the "File Helpers" section (under Receiving Files). Instead go under "Network Protocol" >> "Protocol Helpers". Then you can just select an application or plugin.
Note, that Adobe Acrobat 7 is optimized for Safari; but AFIK, it is not for IE.
As I was going through the motions to see what you might see, IE would not let me select either Acrobat reader 6 or 7. But I could select Acrobat 5 from my OS 9 apps. Nevertheless, Preview opened it anyway-- lol. But at least IE now has an app to open it. You might try selecting Schubert's app, when asked. Or follow my steps and let Preview open it.
The drop down menu you are speaking of, is when IE doesn't know how to deliver the requested MIME type, and it shows you the "Library/Plugins"; is that correct? (It was the same for me.) What IE shows you is your {USERNAME}/Library/Plugins; but what you want to locate is your Mac HD/Library/Plugins -- which is where all of your internet plugins should be, unless you're on a multi-user computer in an office, where it may be desirable to keep separate plugin libraries.
I hope that answers your second question.

I am configuring manual bank statement in ff67 for my Indian customer (I am from Sweden and has not worked with it before).
I have created three banks accounts:
One main account
One incoming account
One outgoing account
I have also created the house bank.
How do I configure transaction code named ZBSR for outgoing payment with assignment reference and ZBSD for incoming payment.

For example you have a customer invoice document:
01 customer 100 USD / 50 revenue 100 USD.
Then you want to clearing Customer invoice direct with bank account in FF67
then you have to define in your posting rule , posting area:2, as below:

Can you confirm whether the bank account defined in FI12 in your hourse bank/bank key is 198000, if yes, then you could define account symbol as below
Acct symbol: Bank with **********
Acct symbol:bank clearing account      with *********1
then the following document will be posted after run FF67
40 198000   100 USD/ 50 198001      100 USD
40 198001   100 USD/ 15 customer 100 USD
The vendor is the same senario.
