I resently updated my phone with the latest software, 8.02 I think. I never had a pass cod before on my phone. Now I am locked out of the phone trying to gyess the 4 digit code. How do I get back in?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Under settings on my Iphone I needed to do a software update. It said to turn on the wifi and plug the phone in. I did this it was suppose to take approximately 1 hour. The screen showed downloading and a blue line that I thought it was finished, I unplugged the phone and now I have the apple icon that flashes periodically. In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

Check for hardware issues
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
Common errors: 1, 10-47, 1002, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1000-1020.

Because it says there are no new updates available, i cannot update my mac to newer software - as such, i then cannot update my itunes, and now cannot sink my iphone 5 to my computer

In trying to sync my old iPod to my new computer, it says that I cannot sync because it belongs to anther library. How do I find that old library for my new computer?

I have a new computer. It has been several years since I have downloaded any songs to my iPod. My old computer crashed so I could not get the info off of it. Now that I try to sync this iPod to my new computer, it states that it cannot because it belongs to another Library. How do I find that Library. I have resigned into iTunes, found my old account, and it still does not sync.

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. It will recognize the iTunes library on the new PC as a new library. If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library. So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.
