I reset and backed up my Ipad 2 and now i can't play any of my purchased songs?
I reset and backed up my ipad 2 and now i cant play and of the songs or music videos i purchased. Some of the purchased songs won't even play all the way through on itunes. I have no idea whats happening. I just want my music i bought.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. I have all of my music saved on an external hard drive. Now I can't play my music...it says that it can't find the location. I think I need to re install all of my music but I'm not sure how to do it?

go iTunes > preferences > advanced and temporarily disable the copy files ... when adding option.
from the file menu, choose add to library and select the folder on the external containing your content, or drag the folder to the automatically add to iTunes folder inside the iTunes folder.
when iTunes has finished the operation, go back to preferences > advanced and point iTunes media folder location to the external so that future additions to your library are put there. also, re-enable the copy files ... when adding option. -

So frustrating!!! Nothing will play since the update. I've also tried to import CD's and I can't tell if that even worked.
I'm not happy with this update!!PLUS I'm also having issues syncing with my iphone!! Nothing transfers over.

Help! Upload 8.1 on my iPad 2 and now I can't get any wifi nor can I reset any settings. When I try to go on my iCloud it is all greyed out and no longer recognizes my password.
I also can't turn off "Find my iPad" on iTunes in order to do a restore.Try a reset first. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. It takes about 10 seconds. After the iPad restarts, see if you can get into your settings.

I moved all my music from c: drive(because it was full) to an external harddrive and now itunes can't find any of my music. Is there a way to get Itunes to find music on external drive without having to place all the music back onto the c: drive? Thanks
Hopefully you moved the entire iTunes Media (or iTunes Music) folder to a new path on your external drive. Copy your iTunes library folder out to the root of the external drive, e.g. X:\iTunes (where X: is your external drive), then move the media folder inside it. Hold down shift as you start iTUnes and keep holding untila asked to choose or create a library. Choose the library at X:\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl. Should all be good.
Failing that, download and run my FindTracks script and point it at the new location of your media folder.

Relax. Nothing is wrong.
You accidentally tapped-and-held a little too long and you entered what many people call "jiggly mode" - i.e. app reorganization and deletion mode. When in this mode, you can move apps around on your various home screens, create and organize app folders, and delete apps (by tapping the X).
Exit this mode by tapping your Home Button one time. -
I backed-up my iphone 3GS to my computer and now I can't find any of my music. I doesn't seem to be anywhere in itunes. Can anyone help me?
Backing up the iPhone to the computer won't transfer the music to it; to do that, you need to use the Transfer Purchases function. If you're looking for music already on the computer, search it for files with an extension of mp3, m4a, or m4p.

You need to use the credentials for the iCloud account that was used to turn on the Find my iPhone service.

If you've been walking around for 2 years with someone else's account set up for Find my iphone, then you'll have to get hold of that individual. If you can't, there is no way to bypass activation lock. -

I'm going to assume the reason your able to get them at home is because your connected to wifi?
Can you do anything else when connected to cellular data?

The clipboard is a place in memory where text that has been copied from is temporarily stored ready to be pasted elsewhere.
The clipboard cannot be viewed, and is essentially invisible to the user. Copied text will stay on the clipboard until it is replaced by the next piece of copied text.
Probably what happened is you copied your credit card number from somewhere, either intentionally or accidentally (perhaps you made a purchase on your iPad using this card recently), and the clipboard stored the number. Then, whilst you were using Facebook you (accidentally) pasted this credit card number from the clipboard into your Facebook message.
That's the only likely reason I can think of. Hope I explained it well enough! -
