Last week it was running again, but since yesterday the old problem.

Ok you can reset the stream from www.icloud.com
    Goto www.icloud.com
Login with your iCould username and password.
    and login
Then click on your name in the top right hand side of the screen next to sign out,
it opens a window Account details with Language, Time Zone, Advanced
Select Advanced - Then click Reset Photo Stream. and confirm, the stream will be reset and totally deleted
I still think you should be able to remove individual pictures though, a blured image etc is a problem

  • So here's my problem. I just used the "reset all settings" option, and accidentaly restored an old backup. It deleted all my photos and contacts, but for some reason I still have all the apps from after the backup date, is there a way to get it all back?

So here's my problem. I just used the "reset all settings" option, and accidentaly restored an old backup. It deleted all my photos and contacts, but for some reason I still have all the apps from after the backup date, and it also kept the notes from after the backup. The "reset all settings" option clearly says no loss of data or media, so I don't understand why some stuff got deleted. My question is, is there a way to get it back?

If you still can find a recent backup listed in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, use this one to restore from.
If there are no recent backups listed, your data is gone. Only if you included the iTunes backup folder into your computer backup routine, you could be able to restore this folder and find one of your latest backups listed again.

  • I've reset my iPhone 4S, my photos are gone but when I plug it into iTunes it still says they are there, can I get them back?

I reset my iPhone 4S and my photos have now gone, the albums are still there but no photos even though when I look at my storage and plug it into iTunes it still says that majority of my memory is to the amount of photos I have. Can anyone tell me how I can get my photos back?

last thing you can try would be go to settings, general, settings, reset all settings
if that does not work, a factory restore will be needed...

I recently got apple tv but the photo stream only seems to show up those photos which I took in September and no others (ie. 20 out of around 100).  Any ideas why the earlier photos on my photo stream in ipad don't show up on apple tv?

  • HT4890 Hi!  I have followed all the steps given to delete photos from my ipad, but photos were downloaded to a pc then entered on icloud.  I have deleted from pc, reset icloud on ipad, and yet the photos are still on ipad w/o option to delete. Help!

Hi.  I am having difficulty deleting photos from icloud - which in turn affects my 3rd generation ipad.  Photos were added to icloud from my pc and then automatically added to ipad.  I deleted photos from pc (not successful), attempted to reset icloud photo stream on ipad (not successful) and would appreciate any guidance as to how to remove these photos from an ipad that does not give me the option to do so.  I have read other responses that lead me to believe it is not possible but hope this is not the case

  • HT201317 I reset my photostream in iCloud but I still have old pictures in Photostream on my iPhone that I now want to move to the cloud so I can sync them to my PC ... new pics sync to the cloud fine - can I sync the older ones?

I had 146 pictures on my iPhone 4S PhotoStream but it wasn't syncing to my PC properly so I "reset" my iCloud trying to get things to work.
So now the NEW picures I take sync to my PC just fine ... is there any way at all to get the 146 pics to sync to the cloud now?  Or any way of getting them to my PC short of emailing them all?  HELP!

Thanks so much Winston - I didn't even realize that the cord I use to recharge with an outlet is actual a USB connection that disconnects from the outlet plug!   Worked like a charm ... PC detected the new device, loaded up the proper drivers, and I was able to move pictures over from the now available folder from the "My Computer" icon or into Picasa or whatever.   A bit annoying that the pictures weren'tarranged in the same folders as on my iPhone, but all-in-all a most excellent suggestion - if I could figure outhow to give you a "green checkmark" indicating you solved my problem I would do so, but for now please settle formy thanks!

  • My iPhone was ruined.  When I bought a new one the photostream pictures were gone.  But they are still on my iPad, can I put the iPad photos back on my phone?

I would love to get the photostream pictures from my iPad back on my iPhone.  How ??

Don't the photos automatically download to your computer? I thought that is how it worked. I don't use photo stream since the iPad is not my ideal way to take photos so I have no experience with photo stream, but I thought that was the idea behind it - download to all devices ....
How many Photo Stream photos are stored on my devices and computers?
iCloud pushes all your Photo Stream photos to your devices and computers, and manages them efficiently, so you don’t run out of storage space.
Your iOS devices keep a rolling collection of your last 1000 photos in the Photo Stream album. From there, you can browse your recent photos or move the ones you like into another album to keep them on your device forever.
Since your Mac and PC have more storage than your iOS devices, they automatically download and keep every photo from your Photo Stream by default.

  • So I had my photostream on when i first go it but then I turned it off and the photos should have been deleted. Somehow when I go to my settings usage photos, it still shows me that it takes up 2.3GB. How do I delete this?

    Some help would be appreciated.

When you look at that button that says "Photos & Camera" and shows you the 2.3GB number, it should have an arrow at the right side.
Click the button.  It will break down where the 2.3GB are located.  They may, for example, be on your camera roll.

HELP I cannot remember old password which is required in order to make new password work????

Are you using Mail or iPhoto as mail client?
I'd try to use a different default mail account than Yahoo! mail in iPhoto. Open the list of your account in the "iPhoto Preferences > Accounts" and drag a different account to the top of the list.Yahoo! mail is giving many problems recently with always prompting for passwords, not only in iPhoto.

  • HT204022 How do you remove all the photos in photostream in one go i.e reset?

I have a new Mac and iphone and when I turn on photostream it downloads thousands of pics that have been taken since photostream started. I don't want it to do that, I just want to reset the photo stream and start with zero pics as its being downloading on the new iMac now for 2 days and its still goinig.
There used to be a reset option on the icloud site but it has vanished, so how do I do it? Surely I I'm not expected to wait days for each device to download all pics before I can delete them?

From where do you want to remove the PS photos? A mobile device or iPhoto on your Mac?  If you have them all in iPhoto on your Mac (up to 1000 allowed) go to the PS in iPhoto, select all of the photos there and Control (right)-click on them.  Select Delete from Photo Stream in the contextual menu that appears:
If they aren't in iPhoto let them download (as that wouldl be faster than downloading to a mobile device and easier to delete from.  The follow the workflow above.  in the meantime turn of Photo Stream on your mobile devices until the photos have been deleted:

  • Photostream Reset not deleting my photos

I'm having issues deleting pictures from my iCloud.  I log into iCloud and go to ADVANCED and click reset photostream as instructed.  Everything appears to work properly (i.e. no errors).  I go to my devices, and turn it off, confirm OK to delete, and do see that all the photos are deleted. However, when I turn photostream back on again, they start downloading again from iCloud back to the devices.  Does anyone have a similar problem?
NOTE:  I just ported my Mobile Me Account over to iCloud so not sure if that plays a factor.  It seems like the RESET feature is NOT deleting it from iCloud. Can someone please help?

"But I want it to work like it used to. Is there a setting or preference that might have changed?"
That only will happen when you are working with a collection if you select photos in the filmstrip and hit the delete button they will be removed (deleted) from the collection but the the original photo will still be on the disk.
You cannot delete from disk while working with images in a collection.
Collections in Lightroom appear as a folder in the Library left panel but they are not actual folders on your disk and do not contain actual photo files or copies of them. The info about collections is in the Lightroom Catalog File.
Have a look at the video tutorial about the Lightroom Catalog if you need to get a clear understanding about how it functions.

  • HT201317 My photos are syncing from my iPhone, to the iCloud PhotoStream and to our iPad, but it is no longer syncing to my computer (Microsoft, not Apple).   Why would this happen and how can I get it resolved?

My photos are syncing from my iPhone to the iCloud PhotoStream and to our iPad, but they are no longer syncing to our home computer (Microsoft operating system, not Apple).   Why would this happen and how can I get it resolved?  I have since tried to remove and reinstall the iCloud application in my computer's control panel.  I have verified that I am using the latest Apple operating system and the latest iTunes.  I have reset my photo stream.  Not sure what else to try...   I was also having an issue with my calendar where it would sync from my computer to my iPhone but not vice versa.  Somehow in all the resetting that's resolved, but the photo issue is not.   Again - photos are going into the photostream, but not wirelessly being put into the file on my computer.

To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

  • HT4597 Can I just choose which apps or photos to sync via iCloud since I don't want all of them in all my devices?  I have all photos & apps in my iMac but only sync manually some of them to my iPad and to my iPhone. Can I still do this with iCloud?

I have 3 Apple devices - iMac, iPhone, and iPad.  I am planning to move to iCloud from MobileMe.  In iTunes, I just choose to sync whatever files I want my iPhone and iPad to have since they don't have sufficient disk space as my iMac.

Calendars, emails, contacts, are fine since files are small.  What I'm afraid of are the apps and photos.
    Any reply will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

With the exception of photo stream, iCloud doesn't sync your apps or photos between devices. You will continue to sync this content via iTunes in the same way as you do now.
Photo stream allows you to sync your most recent photos between all devices, you have the option to use photostream or not.
