I restore my iphone with icloud but when I disconect the iphone i lose my contacts again what can i do?
I lost my contacts on my iphone 4, I've tried several times to restore them with a copy from icloud using itunes, once the iphone is restored i can see the contacts and use them but when I disconect the iphone the contacts are errased again. What can I do?
Have you checked the cable ? Try another one as well as the charger. Look for any dirt or fluff in the docking port where the cable fits. If it still does not work, take it to an Apple store and get them to check it out.

Go into Settings > General > International > Language and choose British English, then hit the Done button. The screen will go black with a comment about Language Settings. Be Patient, especially if you have a lot of apps. Let it run it's course and Then open the App Store again. Voila! Upgrade list is back. And it stuck when i changed back to plain English. He doesn't know why. I don't either. But I am now a happy camper. Worked on my 3rd gen iPad and iPad Mini.

hi, i had recently formatted my iphone with no itunes backup. i restored my data with icloud but all the pics didn'y come back. now when i tried to restore again, icloud deleted all my pics from the server too!! is there any way i can get them back??

You choose to not copy them off to a computer as they are designed to be.
If they are no longer showing in iCloud, they are gone. -
My iphone 3gs says I need to restore my phone with itunes. when i connect the phone it says i need to unlock the phone which i cannont due because of the caution on the phone. How do i fix this?
Hold down the power button and home button at the same time until the phone powers on, shuts back off, powers on again and continue to hold it until it shows the itunes logo to plug in to itunes. This should allow you to restore without unlocking it.

The only way you will be able to track that iPod is if it is turned on and connected to a wifi network by the person that has it.

every time I try to use internet, the application(firefox/safari/chrome) stop working but when I use the modem on windows it works great. whats the problem?
I just spoke with Tesco technical support (having been transferred to them by Clubcard support), who told me that the problems people are experiencing when visiting the Tesco site via Safari aren't currently being addressed because "not enough people have called to complain about it".
I asked what percentage of people he thought might make the effort to call instead of just giving up. He replied that he would be one of those who just gave up.
So it would seem that if we would like the problem to be resolved, we each need to take a few moments to CALL TESCO and ensure our complaint is logged by the technical support team.

I have a 4th gen. Itouch wiht IOS4 and i want to update it, but when i click the update button in ITunes it says "contacting IPod software server" and it looks like it is loading. However, after about 5 seconds it stops and says "ITunes could not connect to the IPod software server". I found the apple webpage that is supposed to help me, but when i went to the LAN settings in the control panel i found that 'Automatically detect settings" was already checked. I do not know what to do, Please help.

Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Do other devices now connect?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

iPhone 3gs, still running 5.1.1 because I actually rely on the mapping software.
A few days back, it started randomly exiting various apps for no reason. Today, I tried powering off and re-starting, but when it re-started it had erased all contacts.
Last backup was a couple days before, so I won't have lost anything crucial, but this is the first such disaster since bying the phone 3 years ago. I see numerous complaints about this, and no real solution or explanation offered from Apple. I figure it's about time to replace my phone, so this will be a test: either there will be a clear explanation and a solution, or I'll switch to Android.What are you syncing them WITH? Do NOT say iTunes. iTunes is NOT a contact manager.
If you're syncing them with your computer, your choices are MS Outlook or Windows Address Book on a PC, and Contacts / Address Book on a Mac.
If you are not syncing your contacts with a contact manager or cloud service, you are NOT syncing your contacts.

With regards, Jan Stevens.If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

I may have totally screwed myself but...after installing Yosemite without checking for potential problems with Adobe software, my CS4 Design Premium suite wouldn't open. So after consulting some forums, I deinstalled it, but I only have disks for my old CS3. When I got the CS4 upgrade I downloaded it, back in 2011... What can I do?? Everything was fine before I upgraded that *#$%* Yosemite.
