I restored my iPhone 4 and now it won't resync my music. Help?!

I tried to add more music to my iPhone today & when I plugged it in to iTunes it said that it could not read my contents & I needed to restore. When I restored it also updated my software to iOS 5.1. After the phone reset & everything it won't sync any of my music. When I click the drop down arrow in the device section, it shows that my music is there, but when I unlock the phone & try to open my music, it isn't there. Also, all the songs are greyed out & have a weird sync icon next to them. I really don't know what to do! Please help!

Your device is broken.  If you want a device that works better than the one you have now, then you'll either need to bring your phone into Apple for out of warranty exchange ($149), or find a 3rd party repair shop in your area and see what they can do, if anything at all.
