I restored my iphone 4 but it keeps making me restore it

I had to reset my iphone 4 to the factory settings and then restore it. Well i have restored it atleast six times and it still is making me restore it. What do i do???

Does it restore successfully?
Are you restoring from backup or as new?
Take the device to Apple for evaluation, there may be an underlying hardware issue causing the problem.

Sounds like the credit card you have on file is probably invalid/expired. You'd need to correct that or set the payment method to None.

and as regards the balance, first make sure you didn't make any in-app purchases. Many "free" apps, particularly games, have additional levels or features that cost money. Check your purchase history in your iTunes Store account and see what you're being charged for.

If it is an iPhone 4 and uses a sim card, and you are in the US, then that must be an AT&T iPhone. Those are a lot of assumptions, I know, but where we are starting. If that iPhone has not been unlocked, then you need to get an AT&T sim card for it to get service indication...or if you are not US then a valid sim card for the carrier where you live.
If it is an unlocked iPhone you can use a sim card from any GSM carrier...in the US that means AT&T, Verizon and Sprint are CDMA carrieres and do not use sim cards.

Yes, I know. But at one point in activating FaceTime or iMessage you will need to be able to send a text message. If you can't, there will be no activation.

Trying to restore my iphone 4 but i keep getting an error (2001).

The phone will only stay on when it is plugged in and it is the screen that says to plug in to itunes. I get the error 2001 when it begins to restore and sets me back to the beginning. ive tried to hard restart it but i cant unplug it or it turns off.

2. Computer is up to date
3. Disconnect other usb devices
4.Check that your antivirus is off!

im having lots of difficulties updating my iphone 3g. i have plugged it into itunes, it goes ahead with updating and restoring. it goes through all the process but right at the end it tells me it was unable to do it and that there was an error. my phone now cant be used as it keeps telling me to connect to itunes which i cant do as the phone needs restoring.
please could you advise me on how to solve this problem?
