Please help i restored my ipod nano and now my wheel will not let me pick songs rasie or lower the volume or even turn it off how do i fix this prob and can it be fixed its a ipod nano gen 4 or 5 i cant remember please help

Does this video play okay in iTunes? Have you tried resetting your Nano? To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If it plays okay in iTunes, try removing the video from the iPod and resyncing it.

It might be logical to someone, but not to me. I agree it's a pain.
How did you change your Apple ID? Creating a new one is not what you want to do, but if you changed the ID associated with your purchases then that might have worked. You would need to sign in with the Apple ID on both your iPod Touch as well as in iTunes. I'm not sure how you changed it but clearly they need to match.

It will send an email confirmation to the email address associated with that Apple ID. The email address you elect to use might not look anything like your Apple ID. If you don't appear to get an email check your spam filter.

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
Have you tried ALL the troubleshooting steps? If you have and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible exchange.

I restored it to factory settings, and when I tried to restore from backup, On every computer I recieved an error stating that it could not restore because the backup could not be saved onto the computer. The factory settings phone works fine, but the backlight will not work 99% of the time (except random sporaddic moments that last a milisecond). It is getting extremely annoying, and I have lost all contacts, over 10,000 pictures, meaningful texts, recordings of songs that I worte, My whole calendar for college, and most importantly, a voice recording of my now-deceased mither telling me she loves me. Is there any way that I can get all of this back, or at least get the backlight to work?! Please and thank you, Katie.

you cannot use your pc license to install on a mac. you would need a separate license (and serial number) for that.
adobe allows platform swaps, but only with the latest (xi) version, Order product | Platform, language swap
your option to use acrobat on a mac are to upgrade to acrobat pro xi and change platforms, use a windows emulator (parallels/boot camp etc) on your mac or swap with a third party.

As I said, I really do not want to change my email address because it is my work email.
I am a freelance professional and all my clients have been using this mac address for over ten years.
New clients arrive all the time through word of mouth, i.e. old clients who pass on my emial address to people who also need my services. Unfortunately a lot of business works this way, so I would lose lots of clients if I changed my email address. But I guess Apple doesn't know, or doesn't care, about how business works for other people (as long as they're making loads of money from products made by suicidal, slave-driven Chinese workers).

Bad juju not having a bootable backup that you can revert back to when you run into these kinds of issues. Get a bootable, external HD, and make a bootable backup/clone before updating/upgrading and ensure that it's bootable and works like the original. See these for details:

Back to your issue. Boot with the Leopard install disk, select your language, select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu, and repair the disk and permissions. Report back.

All of a sudden my Firefox brower will not open correctly. It keeps telling me that it is trying to restore the previous session, but it doesnt' matter if I press the Restore button or the Close button to try again, it will not work. How can I fix this?

After I hit the Close button and try to reopen it tells me that Firefox is currently already running and to either close it or restart my computer. Which I did, and it didn't do anything. Also, when I press the restore button, it will not restore, it just sits there. Please help, I hate Internet Explorer and I don't want to use it longer than I need to.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
