i restored windows 7 cause my windows up date wasn't working and it has a built in web cam i can't find any files it worked before the restore what do i need to do to get this back up and running i need it
You need to visit the website of the manufacturer to download and install the webcam driver and related application software.

I've recently upgraded to Lightroom5.7.1 and now when I try to import photos a window pops up saying 'the photos can't be imported 'cos the files can't be read'. I had no problems before upgrading. Well, think about it. This is a Lightroom forum. We are here to answer questions about Lightroom and how to solve problems in Lightroom. Your permissions issue is an operating system issue, not a Lightroom issue. I didn't mean to be sarcastic. But there are plenty of Internet resources that will answer that question.
I just went to Google and typed in "change disk permissions", and there are links for the Mac as well as for Windows listed. There's no sense in me rewriting instructions that are already available. -
I purchased the Killers new album and for some reason now my computer says it can't find the files. So I tried to download the album again off my iTunes acount but the cloud button won't appear. Does anyone know why this is happening?
These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here.
Audiobooks (and ringtones) are currently a one-time only download. I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them who are requiring the one-time only download restriction. To get it onto your other devices you will need to sync it via a computer. Depending upon what country that you are in, Audible.com have their own app (Audiobooks from Audible) so you might be able to buy direct from them, though I don't know whether you can buy within their app or download audiobooks directly from them within the app e.g. whether they need to be copied via a computer. -

I opened my computer and the whole top only shows web search, I can not find my bookmarks and I tried reloading firefox and still nothing but tab bar. Tried f10, alt, nothing! Can I reload an old firefox? There is no firefox logo at top. When I rt click at top I see hide toolbar and leave full screen. To the right there is only a home sign. How can I get my BOOKMARKS ??????? To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

OK i will explain my whol situation.
My computers hard drive broke, so i had to get a new one.
My itunes from the hard drive is gone now.
MY ipod was disable to the point where you must plug it into the same itunes on the same computer it was last synced on.
i had to restore my ipod.
i re downloaded itunes.
i got into my account.
i re downloaded all songs, apps, books, tv shows, and pod casts.
IT WON"T SHOW ME MY MOVIES.
i looked in my purchase history so i know i bought it.
i went back to "Previous Purchases"
it still doesn't give me a category for movies.
i really need to get that movie back because it was 9.99 and i refuse to let my money go to waste!
Please Help!Films can currently only be downloaded once from the store, which I think is a requirement from the film distributors, so they won't show in the Purchased section for re-downloading. Have you not got a backup of it on, for example, an external drive or CD/DVD ?

Friend has a laptop running OSX 10.6.8, with latest software update 22Jun2012. One of the User's items to startup on Login is a file titled "
apple-scc-20111227-074257"
No idea what this does or where it is located.....any ideas on what it starts up and if it can be safely removed from startup items? Thanks for any info.If you mouse over the item in your Login Items you should see a tool tip indicating where it is. Alternatively right (control) click on it and a contextual menu item, Reveal in Finder will be shown which you can select to open the folder containing the item.
By the way the 20111227 portion of that name looks like a date -- 12/27/2011.
I'm sure you can delete it. Nothing major is going to happen. But you really should find out where it is.
If Reveal in Finder doesn't show anything it may be because the file is invisible (which might be considered somewhat suspicious). In that case use the finder find command (command-f) and look for kind filename plus invisible. Or just use Find any File to find it. -
Why does macbook air list 30 gigs of "backup" in storage and I can't find "backup" files?
I am trying to clear off my hard drive to take my 13 inch air (125 gb harddrive) and the "storage" dialog box says that more than 30 gigs of my HD is taken up by "backup." What does this mean? I can't find any files marked "backup."

Try looking for your files with Spotlight Search
1. From any Home screen page of iPad, drag your finger down anywhere on the center of Home screen.
2. Spotlight search will now appear and you can search for apps, texts, or any other content you'd like just as you did on previous versions of iOS. -
Some times when I press the home button to read my finger the screen becomes black and it shows the Apple logo, this take a few seconds to get back the screen and this has been happening even 3 or 4 times in a row!
What should I do?Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

My computer is saying it can't find the file 'iTunes64.msi' when I try to update or redownload iTunes how do I fix this? I've tried just about everything I can think of. I am using a dell laptop running windows 7 and have tried changing the file location to run the update in all of my iTunes files as well as when I've tried reinstalling it.

I cannot access my iphoto application on my imac as it says I have made changes in Iphoto using a newer version. We have recently purchased a Macbook Air and this has Lion (as opposed to leopard on the iMac) and we are sharing photos between the 2. I am awaiting the upgrade discs for snow leopard and then to Lion for the iMac but is there a way to access my photos until this arrives?
