I ruined my iPhone 4s with water, but could I take the screen from the ruined one and put it on a perfectly fine iPhone 4s that has a broken screen?

I dropped iPhone 1 in the toilet and it is water damaged- it still turns on, charges, etc. but I'm pretty sure it's shot because it always wants to turn off, and things don't work all the time. I am wondering if I can take the screen off this one and put it on another iPhone 4s that has a broken screen but works fine otherwise. Do the screens have some sort of electronic part that could be damaged by water, or is it possible to switch the screens?

Are you capable of doing such?  If so, go for it.
If both devices are the same model, there is no reason why it would not theoretically work.
