I save two copies of an image, one jpg, one tiff. LR will not display the jpg or let it be available, only the tiff. When I try to put another copy of the jpg into the folder LR says the jpg is already there.e
I converted an rgb image into a grayscale image and saved two copies, one jpg, one tiff, into my chosen folder.
I tried to import both into LR, which only showed the tiff in the import dialogue. After import LR only shows the tiff in the folder but when I try to insert the jpg into the folder using Explorer LR reports that the jpg is already in folder.
How can I get LR to display this jpg image?

Communicator 9300i will not display the Blackberry...
I have Communication 9300i which I have installed the Blackberry Connect software on to but it does not display the Blackberry serivce in the messaging section.
I have unistalled the software a couple of times and reinstalled it, but to no avail.
Any advice please.I figured out that the score editor is very unstable. When I open the score editor, and it shows the notes for the region I clicked on, I now know to be sure to only click on the white, lit area of the stave to increase the view to either multiples of the same region, or the full score. If I click on the gray area, then the whole thing goes black and "create a MIDI region" appears, and the score editor will no longer come back. Also, do not ever click on a region when the score editor is open, or the whole thing goes black again.
The score editor is very unstable, and must be opened and closed with care. Once the "create a MIDI region" prompt comes up, it is impossible to get the score editor to open again, unless you open the specific score editor window, but that will not display the full score. -

I have thousands of mp3's on my PC. I used to use a Zune, it died I made the move to I pod touch. I downloaded I tunes to my PC and a small amount of my music showed up on the screen. I did a search for an artist for whom I have lots of songs. I tunes can't find him and tries to direct to the I tunes store to buy stuff by him. Unacceptable
So then I went to my windows explorer, opened my folder for the artist, right clicked on a song, chose "play" and I tunes then played it. So now I tunes can find that one song but none of the others in that folder. I don't want to do this drill with all my songs since I have thousands that I tunes can't or won't display. Is this just some cynical move by Apple to get me to re-buy music I already have? -
There is a badge with the number 1 on my "App Store" icon, but when I go to see what needs to be updated, the App Store does not display the app that has an update nor does it say that there are no updates available. Basically the place that tells me these things, is completely blank. I have the word "Updates" at the top of the screen and I can see an icon on the bottom right corner area that has the cirlce with a down arrow and the word "Updates" with a badge with the number 1 in it.
The iPad 2 has 6.1.2 for the iOS. I have already closed the app out completely by closing the app in the multitasking section and then restarting it. This does not correct the issue. I have also restarted the iPad 2, however this did not correct the issue either.
If anyone has seen this and knows it is a glitch in the software, and that Apple is aware of it, please let me know. If anyone knows how to correct this, please let me know. Thanks.The update server is down; try this temporary workaround

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

If they were songs you purchased from itunes, try redownloading them from your purchases...
if that doednt work, make sure the optuon to copy files to itunes media folder is checked in settings, then find and download from the net. and re-add them to your library -
Ever since converting my website to WordPress the "Recommended Reading" page doesn't display the book I listed that link to Amazon. Only one book linked to another website displays, but not of the Amazon Books.

When I drag and drop a website icon from the Forefox address bar to the desk top, the short cut is created but the icon that appears is the firefox Icon. I want to disply the icon from the website that the short cut refers to. I have checked all I can think of in my computer to no avail.
You have to assign the favicon yourself to the desktop shortcut (right-click the shortcut: Properties) after you have dragged the link to the desktop.
You can usually find the favicon in Tools >Page Info > Media and save the icon there.
Otherwise use the main domain of the website and add favicon.ico (e.g. mozilla.com/favicon.ico ) to display the favicon in a tab and save that image to a folder. -
FireFox 33.1 will not display the PDF file from Bank online site after 33.1
I asked this question in an unrelated support ticket so I want to give more detail here. I have tried uninstalling Adobe reader and reinstalling it and it did not help. This was working before with all the exact same addins I had before. I called the Bank and asked if they had any problems and they say no. I can go to the Firefox PDF display for this file and click on download the PDF then double click it in Windows explorer and Adobe reader comes up and displays the file just fine. Don't mind doing that for now. What happens is the bank loads the file then Adobe reader displays with a white screen and a little circle going round and round, like a video is trying to play, and it just sits there forever. I never see the file contents. Anyway I hope your have a good of a day as I am and I know it get better. Thanks Firefox programmers for such a wonderful program.
Update: While I was writing this I remembered to go into Firefox options, then Applications, and wouldn't you know it, a PDF document was set to "Preview in Firefox". I changed that to Adobe reader and now it works just fine. Guess there's something wrong with the Preview code in Firefox. So I'm happy now. Hope this helps someone.Yes, the built-in PDF viewer is a work in progress. Glad you found a workaround, or got back to your preferred configuration, depending on how you look at it.

Only email lists showing, but will not display the message.
My email (gmail) will only show the list of messages. When you click on it and select a message it does not bring up the usual message screen. It stays blank and tells me no message selected, but I do have one selected. The mail list will slide to the left like its bringing the message up, but does not. Help.
Quit the mail app completely. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Launch mail again

ITunes will not display the correct name of my iPod
Whenever I connect my iPod to iTunes, iTunes displays the name of the iPod as HP_Pavillion, which is not the correct name for my iPod, and if I open it, no songs or videos are displayed but iTunes says that 15.13 gb are used (also incorrect).
If I eject the iPod, all of my songs are there and the correct name is displayed under settings.
What do I do????
Johnokay, with that set of symptoms we had better check on this possibility:

I have a site collection of type "Publishing>>Enterprise wiki", and i have the Visio Graphics service application enabled (i have enterprise SP license). now if i open the document library , and i click on the Visio diagram
the diagram will open inside the browser as intended :-
But the problem i am facing is as follow,if i edit a page , add a link, select to "chose from SharePoint" and i browse for the Visio drawing as follow:-
Then when users click on the link, the Visio diagram will not be shown inside the browser instead an open dialog will be displayed as follow:-
So can anyone advice how to force the hyperlink to have the same effect as clicking on the diagram from the document library , where the visio drawing will be shown directly inside the browser, instead of prompting an open dialog box ?Can you please check "Library settings" -> "Advance settings" and what is the settings

those setting apply only when clicking on a document directly inside the document library, but they do not have any effect when adding hyperlinks to the documents... -
The main window of third page will not display the text element
Hey, smartform guru,
I am working on the smartform to print PO data.
The smartform has first page and next page as usual.
I created a third page P_TERMS to print the terms and conditions for PO printout.
I used commend node to assign the page P_TERMS as the "Go to new page" and it did go to the P_TERMS page but the text element will not print in the main window in P_TERMS page.
The text element will print in the secondary window.Since the terams and conditions are 4 pages long, I expected it to print in the main window, so I do not have to define several extra pages to print them.
Any idea?

Unfortunately, In a smartform, only single main window is continued to all pages even though you can declare windows under each page as main window, but it actually acts as the same window for all pages. It just means that if text from 1st page is overflowed, it will continue to the next page with main window.
Command line to go to next page will create an extra page but since text is not flowed in main window, it won't print the text element you have included in main window on third page.
The solution to your problem as I see is that either you include your terms and conditions in the main window of your first page and just before your text element for T&Cs, use Command to go to third page.

Please note that without the presence of an ORDER BY clause Oracle is free to display the resultset in any order it may choose (may depend on the plan the optimizer comes up with).
if you need results displayed in a particular order, you MUST supply an ORDER BY clause.
You cannot rely on the order of the resultset as you get today when executing the query (if not using ORDER BY clause), since the ordering can (and will) change in the future.
