IM USING A BLACKBERRY Z10, HENCE I'VE THE BLACKBERRY LINK SOFTWARE ON MY DESKTOP, I AM UNABLE TO DLETE CERTAIN IMAGES FROM THE LINK SOFTWARE....WHICH I HAD DELETED FROM MY PHONE....
OR TL ME A WAY WERE I COULD DELETE ALL THE PICTURES FROM THE DESKTOP-BLACKBERRY LINK

It sounds like those images might have synced to your PC and are not also resident on your PC even if they have been deleted from the handheld z10.

Loading Blackberry Link desktop Software

I have been trying to load BB link software on my new laptop and the download and install will never fully complete. There is a message that comes up and lists a number of set up options etc and after hitting OK the next prompt does not give the option to install or set up. Does anyone know if there are any issues currently loading this software?

Can't see my pictures on my BlackBerry Curve 9300

Hi I have a brand new BB curve 9300 and whenever I take a picture or receive a picture through BBM I cannot see my picture in the Media folder. However when I go into Media>>>Highlight Pictures and instead of opening pictures I click to BB key and choose the explore option, I can find my pictures by going through Device Memory/home/user/pictures is there a way to fix this ?

Go to Applications >Files >Media Card > BB button> show hidden> Blackberry> All your files will be displayed.

I cannot see my pictures when the grid is on only an hour glass

I am unablke to see my pictures ( only the hourglass whenI see the grid of pictures. If I click on one hourglass the picture will open, but that is not acceptable.

You can toggle Full Screen Mode on and off by tapping the F11 key. You can also move your cursor to the top of your screen, toolbars will slide down, right-click in the blank area at the end of the Tab bar, choose "Exit Full Screen Mode".

Hi sutterrot,
After a successful conversion from PDF to Word, you need to download the converted file locally on your computer.
You can then choose 'Enable Editing' button and then delete images/text or make other changes.

Problem with the synchronization by Desktop Software (6.1.0.35)

Hi, i have a big problem with the synchronization by Desktop Software (6.1.0.35).
When I installed DS i set to folder sync photos not as
... Documents / BlackBerry / photo (created by default),
but i chose
... Documents / Pictures / Photos from the BlackBerry (created by me).
Basically now I try to change the import folder of images, but it appears the error that is
"Can not set a folder to import to a higher level of import folder"
I tried deleting / Photos from the BlackBerry, and not finding my DS it says:
"The import folder is not available ... etc.." and tells me to change it or with the button or the Media tab of the Device menu> Options.
I do it but the message is always the same: "Unable to set a higher level of import folder to import folder"
I find it an absurd bug and ask to help me solve it. Thanks

Well folks. I've had enough.
The 9780 is a great phone, it's easy to use, practical and dependable. However, the Desktop Manager software has been giving me too many sleepless nights. On two occassions I must add: once at the end of last year when I bought it and only managed to solve it by myself after 4 weeks of trawling through online forums, blogs and other BB help sites and the recent one was last week when I tried to install it on my new Windows 7 notebook.
I know this is not entirely the fault of RIM, Microsoft also has a part to play. But considering the state of technology these days, it shouldn't have to be so difficult. I want a phone and software that makes my life easier and not have to be a slave to it by trying days and nights to solve its problems.
Hence, I have officially decom my phone and gotten an iPhone 4 instead. The switch ain't that difficult for me as I have always been platform neutral. As long it fits my needs, does it job well and doesn't give me too much headache, I'm cool with it.

Getting pictures etc from the blackberry link

I am very frustrated with trying to find information on how to transfer pictures etc from the BB Link to other PC files. Help

Well I do not use Link so I do not know everything. Did you ask yourself, where did the files shown in Link come from ?
I think they came from your computer so they are already on your computer so you can transfer them with your computer not with Link.
Plus if you have files on your phone you can transfer them to your computer using BB Device Manager and if the files are on a SD Card you can also use USB Mass Storage.
What I do not know or have left out someone else will reply and let you know.

Ok if disk utility was able to verify the drive I doubt there is any problem.. are you trying to open a TM backup??
You need to mount the sparsebundle then check the actual info inside the bundle.
Don't use disk warrior.. if the disk has verified then unless you deliberately deleted files there is nothing that is going to do.
Pondini has a lot of stuff about getting access to the sparsebundle.

But if you have copied info to the TC that is now gone.. and the disk is ok.. I am not sure.. the TC will not have deleted the files itself.

How do i delete pictures from the camera roll, but keep them in different albums?

i have added pictures from my camera roll into different albums. but every time i try to delete the ones from the camera roll, it asks if i want to delete the picture from everywhere or cancel. how do i keep them in the other albums, but delete them from the camera roll?

You can't because the actual photo is in camera roll. The albums only contain links to the photos. If you delete the photo from camera roll it will be gone from your phone and therefore also removed from any albums that contain links to it.

Deleting pictures on the pc and they still can be found on the iphone

Hi. I deleted all pictures in the PC directory when the iphone was connected to the pc. No more pictures under the directory DCIM/800AAAAA (im my case).
But, I still get all the pictures in the iphone.
Where are the pictures in the iphone are saved? and why I canot see the on my PC when it is connected to the iphone 4?So what is the best way to delete all pictures from the iphone??
I have no more room in my iphone I must delete all pictures.

If the photos were synced from your computer to your phone, sync it again with iTunes to update the album. If you created the album on your phone, changes made on your computer won't effect it unless these is your my photo stream album. If the album was made from camera roll photos it will not update to reflect changes on your computer.
