Anyway, I got the device, had problems, did tech support, re-activated my MIFI. 1. Decided to return the device. Spent hours with Customer Service, then finally up to Management, they agreed to take it back and void the contact, I sent it back immediately – and instead of voiding the contact they transferred it to my MIFI! Please cancel the contract on the MIFI. 2. During the short time I had the Jetpack I continually received overage alerts, took it all the way up to 30 GB, each time I backdated the new data plan except twice when customer service did and failed to back date the increase, and once the computer locked customer service out and could not increase. The end result is I have a $495 bill, many of these alerts were false since I ended up with only 14 MG for the month, etc. I am asking that my bill be reduced significantly to reflect no overage and to compensate for these problems. Please open up a ticket for this.

I had Verizon JetPak and you will find it will eat data like crazy. I opted to sign on to ATT Uverse and configured my phones and other devices to the WiFi on the Uverse system. It took about 5 minutes to completed the configuration. I was using 10 to 12 GB monthly to support 5 devices. Even if you use Verizon DSL, you are still subjected to same GB allotment. In my area, Verizon DSL is not available. With Uverse, I have 250 GB monthly to use, and I have not even come close to using anything of that magnitude. I reduced my GB package with Verizon to 2 GB per month and since having ATT Uverse, I never use more than 1GB a month with Verizon.
I have no problem with Verizon cell phone service as we get a much stronger signal where we live than you can with ATT or any others. It is just my opinion, but if you are running multiple devices off Verizon Jetpak, you will eventually spend a fortune to keep pace. I pay $60 a month for 18 Mbps speed, although ATT have packages that cost much less. But, it saves me a bundle each month. The cost of Uverse alone is worth not having to run everything through a Jetpak.
If you have the option to use another DSL service provider in your area, I recommend dumping the Jetpak and sign on with another carrier.

By default Mac apps do not close when you close the window you were working in. Unlike in Windows when you click the top right X icon in any program is closes the window and the program shuts down. On Mac OS X clicking the X in the top left hand corner only closes that windows and leave the program running in the background. If they are left open and you reboot they will restart with the system and load a window for them.

You started this new thread, understandably frustrated. None of us are mind readers. You started right off telling us not to mention the only two things that would resolve the problem you had mentioned here which was simply that you had uninstalled office and you were trying to reinstall it. Reading your other thread, it's clear why you made that comment. It's generally not a good idea to open multiple threads for the same issue as anyone reading this thread would have no idea what steps you have already taken and what suggestions have already been made.

You may already have tried this, but before you completely give up, I'd check your home router software and also reset the router. I haven't seen this particular issue arise on these forums with new iPad devices, so perhaps it has to do with outdated software or configuration on the router not playing well with the new device....

Firefox 6.0.1 will not open .aspx files in a browser window. Safari does it fine. I am greatly disappointed in your lack of help for this problem. Your forum people keep blaming the web site yet Safari works fine.

I tried to read my electric bill and got a message to view in an application or download. I assigned Preview.app to view it and it wouldn't work. Safari opens the bill in Preview.app by default.

If you have chosen that website to remember you than also clear the cookies from that website.

UI error "The requested lookup key was not found in any active" workaround

Hi All.
Some of you might have this problem when making a UI-Connection "The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context"
Talking to SAP Support and Gianluigi Bagnoli about the problem here is a sum of the problem and the workaround to prevent it (at least untill SAP development fix the problem)
Some facts:
- The error is present in SBO2005A SP01 and SBO2005B SP00, SBO2007A should not be affected
- The error occur because the SAP client fail to provide the correct/entire connection-string
- The problem is actually an underlying problem from Microsoft (try searching google with the error message)
- Normally after the error occur, you can go to Administration > Add-ons and start the add-on manually without problems
Some additional observations
- The error mostly happen just after startup of a windows machine
- We have had a couple of customers that have had the problem, then upgraded the SAP client to a new patchlevel and got rid of the problem (but we have also had customers where this did not help)
- Seem to be happening more often of slower machines
Workaround
Knowing that this problem is tied to and incorrect connection string is also the "workaround"... What you could do is to create exception handling around the UI connection, and if it fails connection using the development connection string (like you do during development) The connection string is: 0030002C0030002C00530041005000420044005F00440061007400650076002C0050004
Using this method, you will be able to establish a connection even if the client is unable to provide you a correct connectionstring, but the draw-back of this workaround is that the add-on will be indicated as failed in the Add-on Manager and the user is not able to stop the add-on in any way other than disconnection from the company.

I am looking for a solution to the error "The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation context" too.
In our add-on we do two SboGuiApi.Connect(sConnectionString), one from MyAddon.exe and the other one from MyAddon.dll. The .exe catches messages and .dll interacts with UI to paint forms etc. It is since the .exe and .dll are not in the same thread. The first connection works fine in the .exe, then that connection string is passed to the dll and the error is raised. The rare thing is why it works fine from the development enviroment, but doesn't work when SAP is starting the Addon?
Is it possible connect twice?
Can we connect in the .exe using the connection string received from SAP and in the .dll using the development connection string?

You first need one or more apps on your iPad that support the types of file that you want to copy over to it, the iPad doesn't have a file system link a 'normal' computer, everything has to be stored within an app.
For PDFs there are free apps such as Apple's iBooks app and also Adobe Reader - and paid-for apps such as GoodReader (which also supports read-only of word and excel documents). For documents the options include Apple's Pages app for Word documents, Numbers for Excel spreadsheets and Keynote for Powerpoint. And from third-parties apps such as Documents To Go ('premium' version) and QuickOffice Pro HD. As to how you then get the file to your chosen app will depend upon what the app supports - different apps will have different ways of copying their content to/from a computer e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via your wifi network, email, dropbox etc.
For iBooks, which supports PDFs, you should be able to add the PDFs to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library, and they should go into the Books section of your library. You can then sync them to iBooks by connecting your iPad to your computer and selecting it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you have iTunes on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via control-S), and on the right-hand side use the Books tab to select and sync them to the iBooks app.
