I seem not to be able to shop apps from the App Store?

When I have found an app that I wish to download, I simply cannot find a function that activates download. When I click on the app symbol I just get two alternatives, either to open the link or to copy the link...?!

Have you looked in your email for a confirmation of the new apple id?

Do you have Restrictions set that prevent adding the apps? (Settings>General>Restrictions).

I have purchased an app from the app store and cannot seem to download it. I have tried restarting, and checked my connection but this seems to have no effect. I have also downloaded other (free) applications since then and some of these download

I have purchased an app from the app store and cannot seem to download it, the download statrs and then rapidly cuts out, it will not complete and seems to repeatedly go over the same few Mb. I have previously downloaded large files and not had a problem with them.
I have tried restarting, checked my hard disk (and repaired a sector of the disk) and checked my connection but this seems to have no effect. I have also disabled virus protection and my firewall to see if this has an effect. I have also downloaded other (free) applications to test it since then and some of these download but not the larger ones. Has anybody else encountered this? Does anyone know how to solve it?

Can you download large files from other places apart from the App store, wondering if it is the App store or your internet connection.

To be able to use the US store you will need to be in the US and have a US billing address on your account. You can try requesting that it be added to the UK store, but unless the app's developer agrees to it then Apple won't be able to put it in the UK store : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
"This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.
Can anyone help me please?

Are you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out.

I have previously bout about 30-40 apps from the app store. After a recent update to the newest version of iOS (and a reset back to factory standards), i find that i cant put any of the apps from my iTunes library, back onto my phone!? When i try, it says that the apps location cant be found!? I tried going into the app store and in the app section going into 'Purchaces', in the hope that i could just re-install them from there (because i have already paid for them), but in there, it tells me that there are NO apps in my purchaces list!? This is quite concerning because i have spent quite a bit of money on these apps, that now seem to be un-usable?! Ican still put all my music on my phone through iTunes liuke normal, but Podcasts are doing the same thing as the apps?! Can someone please help me, or suggest what to do because im really getting frustrated. Got it sorted though. Seems that Apple has issues with multiple apple id's.
Seems i had to somehow remember and use the original id i had when i first bought my 1st iPhone. . . .
Even after that it was extremely hard to get my apps back on my PC.

The entire point of this is that you can redownload any and all of your past purchases.

Download them to iTunes abd then sync the apps. Make an appointment with Apple and see what the problem is.

Change App Store
1. Tap "Settings"
2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3.Tap "View Apple ID"
4. Enter your user name and password.
5. Tap "Country/Region."
6. Tap "Change Country/Region"

Installing the appropriate combo update may help...
If you are running v10..7 Lion, install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
For 10.6 Snow Leopard > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
Then restart your Mac. Try the App Store.
If that doesn't help, try the following..
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go
Move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and try downloading Mountain Lion.
You may also need to disable anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (or Security & Privacy) > Firewall
