I sent a file to a friend and he can view one layer?

I'm using a free trial version of illustrator and it has multiple layers. When I send it to a friend to open, he can only view one layer.
Wondering what could be the issue?

Is it the same version?
If not, what happens if you downsave, Save a Copy choosing the lower version?
If you have a higher version, your friend is most likely looking at the PDF part.

There is no other way. Without the correct credentials you won't be able to use it.
Activation Lock cannot be bypassed, Apple will not help unless you have the original receipt (but not from some 3rd party)

HT1386 I have sync an ipad with a new computer and the photos have been transfered into files with no extensions. I can view them on the ipad but canot view and delete from the computer.

Well I forget the exact keys, but believe pressing and holding down CTRL before clicking Restore will allow you to browse and find the backup file (may be wrong).
In the end, as far as the iPhone thinks, it is a new computer so it will erase and resync stuff and as long as you loaded everything back into iTunes all should sync back. Main issue is other stuff like the data within the apps, notes, etc that are part of the backup which is why you would want to try to restore from the backup. If you don't mind losing data in apps (eg: do you care you have to relog into some apps and start over, don't care about game scores, etc) then you don't have to worry about the backup. If you have important data in some of those apps then you will need to restore from the backup.

Why doesn't FCP open a file that QT Pro and iMovie can open?

I have since mp4 (h.264) files that I created in QT Pro 7 exactly the same way. FCP can open 5 of them but gives a "general error" for the other two. QT Pro and iMovie can open and play all 7 just fine. What's the problem with FCP? I would expect it to be MORE flexible given its price. Instead I'm about to find myself using iMovie instead of it (imagine my frustration).
Any suggestions?

Dunno - are they protected files? (trailers often are)
How big are they?
H.264 is a "delivery" format and is not considered an "editable" format. iMovie is likely converting it to DV upon load, so that may be why it can use it. You could do the same before loading it into FCP.

I am having problems with downloading files, what is wrong and what can I do?

When I try to download a file (ex: file from mediafire) when it gets the windows that lets me choose where to save the file, the window closes and FF automatically downloads the file to a certain place...(last place file was save too)

I have a new iPad3 and have found I cannot open the month of March 2013 when I tap on it. All other months open OK ! I can see March 2013 in the yearly view and I can open the individual days, and weeks, of March 2013 but I cannot see the whole month in the monthly view. When I try to open the monthly view for March 2013 it returns me to the start screen which shows all the apps etc and closes the Calendar app. Any guidance of what is going wrong and how it can be corrected. Phonebooth is in your home folder under pictures with Iphoto and Ichat. Deleting pigtures from phonebooth should not remove any from Iphoto library. Something else had to happen.

Sent 7 files to the trash and they never complete the task. A screen with the names of each file comes up with the running bar symbol. Then click the little x in each corner of the file name to stop it. Tried ESC and tried shut down but no result.

How do I get the 7 files that are going to the trash and then canceled to complete one way or another.

I download firefox 5.0 and now I'm having trouble dragging and dropping PDF files into Google Docs and I can't view the PDF once uploaded. I had no problems with this in the previous verion of Firefox

With firefox 5.0 I can't drag and drop pdf files in the google docs screen. When I do eventually get a pdf file uploaded I can't view it. I get "no preview available". In my previous verion of firefox (4.something) I had no problems with this and I was able to drag and drop and after uploaded I could view the entire file.

Thanks one again. I know you helped me the last to. I do have the Deja Vu font set in my folder. I downloaded and the last time. So I don't know if there is supposed to be more or not, but those were installed with Windows-XP after my reformat.
This is really driving me nuts. as I've done several re-formats on my computer and several friends computers and even upgraded hardware so I am not necessarily a software or programming expert, I am somewhat advanced when it comes to computers in general and can usually diagnose the problem but these font's are the problem and they never were before.
I did see in another forum that if you had a Dell Computer and did the Microsoft update for the onboard video card driver that it could be the culprit, but I have that disabled being I have a much better graphics card so the updates from Microsoft for the onboard video weren't installed.
It' a Dell Dimension 3000 with an Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller so I don't believe it is the culprit being it is disabled. The actual video card that I am using is a PCI Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT with 1 GB Memory. And I didn't have any problem before.
I appreciate the help. But still can't get things to work. Live Help Chat doesn't open for another two hours so maybe they can do "Remote Access" or something and can check setting and help me. But if you come up with other suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.
