I sent a picture from camera roll to my computer over 12 hours ago and it hasn't arrived what can I do?

I sent a picture from camera roll to my computer over 12 hours ago and it hasn't been received. Since then, I've tried to send smaller ones to my computer and they have not arrived either. Is there a queue I need to go into to delete the first picture that may be holding everything else up? Or what can I do to unblock this feature?

For instance I have 1200 photos on my iPhone Camera Roll. Some of these are shots, that I've taken multiple times, some good, some bad. I just want to clean up my Camera Roll, but going through the pictures on the iPhone's small screen is tedious. I'd much rather look at the camera roll's photo's on my Mac, and then decide which files I'd like to keep, and which to delete.
I don't want to import the files, as when I import the files, and delete them from Camera Roll, now the Photo's are not on my phone, and the only way to get them back on my Phone is to Import them back in using iTunes, and then they go into the Picture Library and not the Camera Roll.
In the same way as I can view Pics from my digital camera's SD card on a Mac without having to actually copy them to my computer, is there any app out there that will let me view my iPhone pics without importing them.

The short answer is yes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Open Image Capture application.
Click on the 4 little squares at bottom to view them as photos, not a list.
Select the photos them click the No Entry icon at bottom to delete.

Im gunna be straight up honest here.. I have some rude pictures of my girlfriend on my iphone which I would like to keep for my own personal viewing but obviously dont want family and friends seeing when they are flicking threw my camera album which often happens. I had intended to make a private album put them all in there and put a passcode on the album. With all of apples features I would of thought this would be a standard thing you could do, however when I made the private album the pictures were still in my camera roll and if I try to delete them I am told the pictures will be removed completly from my phone.. This is stupid. What is the point in being able to make albums if the pictures are going to still all be in the camera roll!? Does anybody know of a way I can move pictures from camera roll to a private album?? Any help would be much appreciated.

Photos placed in a user created album or in an existing album are not copied/duplicated. The photos placed in an album include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Camera Roll. Having an album for select photos is for viewing the select photos only without having to see all photos in the Camera Roll.
The same applies to albums transferred from your computer. All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the Photo Library. Photos on the albums below include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. The photos appear as they are duplicated when they are not. This way you can view the photos in an album only by selecting the album, or all photos on the Photo Library or Camera Roll by selecting it.

If you want to add them to albums that you've created directly on the iPad then go into the album that you want to add the photos to, tap the icon at the top right of the screen that looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it, and you should then get an option next to that icon to 'Add Photos'.
If you want to add photos to albums that you synced from your computer then you'll need to copy the photos to your computer, add them to the folders that the albums came from, and then re-sync

Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. This was the same prior to photo streaming with iCloud and remains the same since.

Where did you put them?
These are not part of the sync process at all, as the manual tells you. You should be importing them to your comptuer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

Try disabling Norton and syning. If that doesn't help try uninstalling iTunes and all of its components by following this guide: Windows XP or Windows Vista/7, then reinstall iTunes. You must follow this guide exactly or it will not be successful. Note: uninstalling iTunes will only remove the application; it will not touch your iTunes library or data.
If you continue to have trouble you can use an app like PhotoSync to wirelessly transfer your photos to your computer while you continue to try to troubleshoot this.

Deleting pictures from camera roll and photo stream but not from other folders

Hey everyone,
I am new to I phone and using iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.2.
I like to keep my photo folder organised and sorted. For example I created different folders on my iPhone for wallpapers, my personal pics and work pics.
Now after adding all these pics to their respective folders i deleted them from Camera roll and my photo stream ( thinking that they would still be in their folders) and now I am screwed, because everything is deleted .
Thankfully, I have the backup, but please can anyone help me to understand the difference between camera roll and my photo stream and how could i keep all my pics in different folders and just not in camera roll or my photo stream.

The way I do that is to organize them on my computer. I periodically import all of the Camera Roll to the computer. That is a good thing to do to insure you have a copy in case of loss of the phone or other problem, even if you backup the phone. Import can be done by methods described in iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
Once they are on the computer I organize them in iPhoto on my Mac. If you have a Windows computer you can organize them in folders. Once they are on the computer I delete them all from the Camera Roll on the phone to make it easier next time -- i.e., the Camera Roll always only contains the photos that I haven't yet organized.
I only want some of the pictures that I am keeping to be sent back to the phone, so in Windows I made a second copy of those (in iPhoto on a Mac I use Albums instead). I had a main folder (e.g. "Photos for iPhone") and subfolders (only 1 level below the main folder) with various topics. Hi everyone! I'm in need of extreme help. You see, today, two months ago I went out of the country from the United States of America. I took about 1500 pictures ONLY on my iPod touch. When I returned to the United States to my home, I accidentally deleted a little more than 100 pictures. Then, thinking I could get ALL of the pictures back at once, I restored my iPod touch from an iCloud backup I had a couple of days before. Instead of getting all of my pics back, they all got erased. The pictures that I did delete were deleted from Camera Roll AND Photo Stream (iCloud). Then, I was only able to get about 500 pictures back from iCloud. So about 1000 are still gone. When i did the restore, I thought all my pictures would be there, but they weren't and I couldn't possibly figure out why; because a restore from iTunes or iCloud is supposed to restore your device to the settings of the time you backed up your device. All of my other settings were just the way they were supposed tone for the time being, all except my pictures, which contained not one picture in any folder. So EVERYTHING from Cameta Roll was gone, and only about 500 pictures survived. I kept retoring and restoring, hoping they would come back but unfortunately they didn't. Then one time a restored again, I saw all of them back!! But then, within a blink of an eye, they disappeared as soon as I tapped on one picture. Then, I knew they were still in reach, but I just had to find them. Where could those 1000 pictures go? I looked up how to recover deleted photos, but I have to install a software. My computer CANNOT possibly take anymore software on it, my PC is very sensitive and I cannot delete anything off of it. Please please help me. What can I do to get my pictures back? They are memories that I can never EVER EVER get back. Thank you so much.

You can't, when you 'copy' a photo into an album that you've created directly on the iPad then you are effectively just creating a pointer to the photo and not creating a second copy of it - so if you then delete the original photo from your iPad you will also be deleting all pointers to it and therefore removing it from other albums.

No there isn't. The original photo is being stored in the camera roll and the copy of the photo is in the album. If you remove the photo from the camera roll, you will delete it from any albums that it might be in as well.

Choose Select at the upper right, select some photos, choose "Add To" at the upper left, and then select the album you wish to move the photos to.
Note that you can only move photos to albums that you created on the iPad. Also note that the photo will remain in the Camera Roll, only a pointer to the photo is moved to the album.
