I set a code for volume limit and forgot what it was....wat do i do?

help me

To reset the code, you will need to select the iPod in iTunes and click Restore.
This will erase the iPod and restore the iPod OS (and remove the screen lock and volume lock codes).

I set up a restriction code and forgot what it was.  How can i recover this?

Sorry, but you can't recover the restriction code. You'll need to restore the iPad as a new device. Do not use a backup file during the restore; the restriction code is stored as part of the backup.

  • IPod Nano Lock Code for Volume Limit change

Does anyone know what the 4-digit code on the Nano is as it comes from Apple, or know where in the documentation I can find it ? I want to change the volume limit and don't know what the code is and can't find it in any of the packaging material that came with the Nano...
...I don't want to have to restore it, and lose all of the files I have on it and have to re-load it from scratch.
    Thanx !

It doesn't come locked so there should not be a limit on it. Restore it in iTunes to clear it if you have one. This is a 1st Generation Nano?

  • HT201210 My daughter put a pass code on her ipod &she forgot what it was how do unlock it

My 6 yr old daughter put a pass code on her Ipod & she forgot it now she can unlock it does anyone know how

    hi try this
Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten password:
Restore (and reset password) on your device by connecting it to the last computer to which it was connected:
iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring iOS software -http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If you cannot connect it to the computer to which the device was last connected you will have to use recovery mode to completely reset the device, losing all data:
iOS: Unable to update or restore - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 - recovery mode (e.g., cannot connect to computer last used to sync device, iTunes still asks for a password)

  • One of the my kids put a 4digit lock code on my ipad and forgot what the number was

how do i unlock my ipad since we dont knw our 4 digit passcode

If you don't know the passcode then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it (or possibly restore from your backup) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808

  • My granddaughter put a pass code in her ipad and forgot it. how do you fix this?

My granddaughter put a pass code in her ipad2 and forgot what it was. How do you fix this?

If she's forgotten the passcode to unlock the iPad then she will need to connect the iPad to the computer that she normally syncs to and she should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync her content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - she may need to put the iPad into recovery mode in order to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

You'll have to connect the iPod to your computer and restore it to factory settings in iTunes.  Then resync your music etc.

This thread - with a quote from an LR4 Beta thread - says that all 6 central Basic controls in PV2012 (Exposure thru Blacks) are now image-adaptive, as were Recovery, Fill Light, and Clarity in previous versions:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4253485
Whether they are suitable for creating a Timelapse sequence without significant flicker is entirely subjective and up to you - and of course, dependant on your specific images & how they change over time.  Sorry, not much advice beyond try PV2012, and revert back to PV2010 if you get too much flicker.

  • Setting color codes for more than one photo at a time

Is there any way to set color codes for more than one photo at a time?

    Hi John,
I will look at keywords. My issue is speed. Right now I am culling and editing an event shoot that spanned a week with 35 separate events and more than 5000 images. So I use the fastest most convenient method I can and it still takes a long time to have a completed and final shoot. On this shoot I will end up with a final set of around 1500 images. Right now I am finishing processing a show that will hang in the Deutsches Amerikanish Zentrum in Stuttgart.
As I am sure you are aware by now, having seen enough of my inane questions that over the last two years or since Lightroom version 1.xx if I could not figure out how to do something I skipped it. So many things in Lightroom are buried and unless you have a mind like a steel trap (and think that some of you guys in the forum do) locating how to do something is not obvious.
For example, I only learned (in the last hour) that I could assign colors as a group of selections by using Shift + number. I found this in a side head in Martin Evenings Lightroom book. I still do not know how to find a way to display the color filter "selection" set in Library mode. Is there a way?
To top it off, Stuttgart Media University asked me if I would add a Lightroom module to my schedule this year. Now I have a compelling reason to learn all those missing pieces that I have created workarounds for. Hence the number of posts you have been seeing from me over the past few of weeks.
I tell my class that there are no such things as stupid questions, only questions. Now I am practicing what I have been preaching for the last gazillion years. Guys like you have been great.
    My workflow is
    1. I first separate all images by event. I do that at the time of import.
    2. I do a fast pass rejecting all the obviously bad images
    3. I do a second pass grouping the images by sub-group (speeches, people talking, performances, etc.) This is where I run out of selection methods and your key-wording could work but it would probably take too much time to establish a keyword set for a single event. Where I have more than five subgroups I set up different collection sets with one collection for each sub group. However I would like to keep a single event in one collection.
    4. I then select the images to be used by color code.
    5. Next I process the final images (crop develop etc) by collection.
    6. Last I output the set according to client requirement.
If you have a better workflow, I am all ears.
By the way, what is your photo specialty and where are you located?

  • Is there example code for using Ni488 and PCI-GPIB card in non controller mode?

Is there example code for using Ni488 and PCI-GPIB card in non controller mode?

    cymrieg,
Your code looks good to me. What is the problem? What happens when it fails? What is the IBSTA value on the controller, and at what point in the code does it stop? What is the IBSTA value on the slave, and at what point does it stop?
One thing is that you might not want to call IBCLR() in a loop on the device. At the beginning of the program is fine...This will send a clear command to the device and will clear out any LACS and TACS bits that might be set. Also your IBDEV call shouldn't be in a loop.
Hope this helps, but let me know if you need more information.

  • What is the factory setting pin code for my ipod touch?

im looking to make a purchase in app on my ipod touch and i need to switch off the restrictions under general settings. in order to this i need the pin code which is 4 digits. this must be factory set as ive not set it previously.
    thanks

A: what is the factory setting pin code for my ipod touch?

There is no default setting. You have to set the passcodes. If you cannot remember them, then see:
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync). If you have movie rentals on the device, see iTunes Store movie rental usage rights in the United States before restoring.
Follow these steps to restore your device:
Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.
Connect your device to your computer.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
    Select the Summary tab.
    Select the Restore option.
When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (see in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.
Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up, you should not have to worry about restoring your iOS device).
When the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up:

  • T-code for cancelled Invoice and cancelled Excise Invoice

    Dear Guru,
kindly let me know the T-code for cancelled Invoice and cancelled Excise Invoice.
    Wishes,
    Abhishek

    Hi Abhishek,
I am not aware of any T-code through which you can see the cancelled invoice. I think either you have to go for development (SQVI)
    or
Extract the list of your all billing document like billing document created from 01.01.2010 to 22.04.2010
Now go to SE16 --> Table VBFA --> Give your billing document number in field "Preceding Doc." --> and in the field "Subs.doc.categ." --> choose entry "N     Invoice cancellation" --> system will show you all the entries for which cancellation billing document has been created.
    or
Go to SE16 --> Table VBRK --> enter your billing document list --> In the field "Posting status" --> Choose  option "E      Billing Document Canceled"
    Hope it helps,
    Regards,

Hi basically when i try download a app its saying sign in required ask for sercurity code for bank card and i put the correct details in and still saying its invalid? Can anyone help

Refusal of a card is based on information provided matching what is on file from your credit card provider. If it is refused, it generally means something is not matching. That can inclue the name, the address or other information. It has to be exact to match. If you check your credit card bill to make sure you are spelling the name correctly, the address is listed correctly, and yes, ST is different than Street, and it still does not work, contact iTunes support. http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

Apple TV has no storage, it is caching the movie and needs to load a portion before playback starts. The time it takes is dependent on your network.
What is your current connection via speedtest.net?
