I set up an extra App Store now I want to only keep one. How do I delete one or combine them?
I assume you are talking about Apple IDs. IF so you and you now have two of them you cannot combine them or delete them. Apps downloaded with one ID areforever linked to that ID and can only be updated with that ID. If that is a problem delete the app and download it again with the preferred ID

Go to settings, iTunes & App Store, tap on your ID, sign out, then sign in with your new information. You cannot delete an old ID, you just stop using it.

I purchased Pages from the App Store and it installed properly, but now it's asking me for a serial number or use the 30-day trial. I never received a serial number after purhcasing and I don't see anything in my iTunes receipt. Where can I find my serial number?
This means that at some time you had the iWork ’09 trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user. Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

I want to purchase an gaming app from the appstore. However if i install it and later want to install another app or application from elsewhere do I get to keep the app or does it disappear. So would I need to re-purchase the app or does it stay in a purchased section so you can install, uninstall and reinstall etc when you want.
Thank YouOnce it is installed you should have no reason to uninstall it.
However, if you, accidentally or on purpose uninstall it, as a paid app you should be able to reinstall. But having said that, it would probably depend on whether that app was still available in your country's App Store.
So better to just keep it. -

IMessage - multiple phones but only want them on one
Here is what I am trying to do.
I have 3 devices (Iphone4, ipad and iphone 4s).
I would like them all to share the same apple id to share apps.
I have no need to imessage on one device and pick it up on another.
How should I set up these devices so that:
1. The can share itunes apps (only pay once)
2. each has its own imessage
3. I can use find my iphone from any of the three devices and see all the devices
Curently imessage is setup to receive messages at "my phone number" at each device. That is, the iphone 4 has its phone number in there and the iphone 4s has its phone number in there. Would I just leave this alone and I would be able to do what I would like to above?
I have no need for imessage on the ipad.
We cannot test it as the texts since upgrading to ios5 have only been between the two iphones. I have no idea what will happen when another iphone sends either phone an imessage. The last thing we want to happen is have it sent to both phones.

That's correct - it only deletes them from your phone, not from iCloud
If you go into Settings, Music and set Show All Music to Off, you will only see the songs that are actually on the phone.
One other tip - once you've deleted the songs/lists you no longer want, restart the phone (hold the Home and Sleep buttons for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears) to make sure the songs are gone. -

I have an app, no longer in the app store, that i want to keep an iphone i'm getting rid of. I backed up the iphone on itunes and deleted all data, but the app, manually. I want to erase all data, and then put the app back on the phone. Please advise. Thanks
Then as I said you can do an Erase All Content and Settings which will wipe the phone. Completely. In order to add a game from your iTunes you will have to activate the iPhone with your Apple ID and then sync the game. You don't have to sync anything else. But you will need to sell the phone with your Apple ID on it.

I use iphone5, I see an app update on the app store. but when App store and click on the update tab, it doesn't show me which application to update.. just gives me a blank page.!!!! I wouldn't able to know what app has to be updated, untill and unless i get check for each every app on the app store installed on my iphone... what is the solution for this.!!!! can any1 one help me out.!!!!

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh. -
How do I download an app from the Mac App Store but not install it and save to do later?
I'm getting the free Lion download for new Macs from the Mac App Store, but am not ready to install it yet. It appears that apps (including Lion?) from the App Store automatically install themselves. Is there any way to save an App Store download (.dmg?) for later installation without having it automatically install? I asked Apple Support via chat, and they said it could be installed later but couldn't tell me how.
The Lion download is different than small apps. What you get with Lion is an installer. But be sure to make an extra copy because after using the installer it deletes itself.

I have an apple account and my internet is fine and I can open the app store but not download apps, I think the problem is in the settings.
What happens when you try to download an app ? If you aren't seeing the price/free button to be able to download them then do you currently have Settings > General > Restrictions > Apps (under the 'allowed content' heading) set to 'Don't allow apps' ?

I want to install Lion on an external hard drive. The OS was purchased and downloaded through the App Store but I do not know where the file is.
If you downloaded the installer it will be in your applications folder. Failing that use spotlight start typing Install and it should show up.
This is assuming you downloaded the installer from the app store, and didn't just install it onto your mac. If all you have done is install it on your mac. Go to your purchases Lion should show up. Then click download.

just got a new iphone 5s and i am trying to get on the app store but it is telling me that not connected to itunes when i connect to itunes it was fine then went back to app store it is telling me sign in to itunes store so i do that with my apple id and password but is still isn't working help
