I should like to email some of my scanned material to others.
I have an HP printer/copier/scanner. My O/S is Windows Vista and I use Yahoo Mail as my principal email base. What do I have to do to ensure that when I select "email" for a selected scan that it goes out via my Yahoo Mail. Are there any specific protocols that I must observe before sending scans by email...like linking the HP scanner to Yahoo Mail?
The HP software probably only supports system mail client software, like [http://www.getthunderbird.com Thunderbird] or Outlook. Thus, you won't be able to make your printer automatically attach your scan to a new yahoo mail image.
Check the printer's documentation for specific details, as I don't know how HP's scanning software works.

Would like to exclude some email accounts from email count/noti​fications
I have an email account on my Z10 that I don't want any notification or count on the main screen. I can exclude the email from the Hub but it still notifies me on the main screen that I have email. It would be nice to exclude this so that I could check it once a day or as needed without being notified of every bit of spam that comes to this account.

For the email account you do NOT want to see in the Hub, turn it off.
When you want to see that email, simply reverse that setting and turn it on.

I am frustrated. With the no squint, which has a mind of its own, then some pages are fine, in others the type is too big or too small for the frames. If I use the default Firefox zoom that is no better. I have to set things for like 130 percent and am constantly having to click on the zoom and change things. I never had that with previous versions? Why can't Firefox just go back to displaying text in the correct frames at a decent size?
I have played with all the options in no squint and the default zoom thing. My email list in yahoo remains tiny tiny, other things do not. If I enlarge that, then other things are too big. I never had this problem with older versions of firefox. I never had used any zoom features, it all sized itself correctly.
To troubleshoot, I tried to open the same things with chrome, and it had much less of a problem sizing the type etc.
I am kind of at my wits end here. -
When I tried to create and apple id using my gmail account i found that somebody has already created an apple id using my gmail id. So I gave forgot password option and reset the password of the id. But for resetting the security questions, link is going to some other email id which is created by the other guy. Now the problem is that the other guy also can reset my password and access my account.
I contacted apple customer care and they are not ready to help me saying that I need to give information about the last device I logged in using this id. How can I give it when I did not create it?:) Also they are saying this account has been verified and that could happen only if someone has hacked my gmail account and verified the id using the link sent by apple.
Later I did some experiments and found that this is a security flaw from apple. Somebody has created the id and never used it(I tried to loggin to icloud and it was saying this account was not used it any apple device). The account became verified when I reset the password.(This is a bug, account should be verified only when we click on the verification link sent by apple).
The other mistake apple did is that they allotted my gmail account to someone before it's verified eventhough it cannot be used unless verified. Actually apple should allot the account id only after verifying the email address.
Apple customer care is not ready to help and I am tired of fighting with them. Can any of you guys suggest any means of getting back my gmail id to use it as apple id?I don't think you're going to be able to. I would guess the other person used your address by accident, and when he found he couldn't access the account (because you'd changed the password) he abandoned it. Your GMail address is now locked to that account and even if it was changed you can't use it to create another.
You already have an Apple ID, which you use to log in here; you can use that to create an iCloud account if that's what you are trying to do. If you want to create a different Apple ID just get another free address such as a Yahoo one. -
I would like to upload my music library from my PC to the Cloud through iTunes Match. I also will be purchasing a Mac in the near future and would like to download some of that music from iCloud to my Mac. Will I have compatability problems?

Just bought Adobe Photoshop Ps , clicked on the icon in my Mac dock and am staring at a black page with a perimeter of symbols and a heading that reads "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014. I don't have a clue what I do next. I would like to transfer some photos from my iPhoto library. Where do I start?
Photoshop does not transfer files nor import files. It can open files from any place that finder can access for files.
This is the normal process:
You need to log into https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/catalog/desktop.html Download Center
Select the app you would like to start with
The Creative Cloud manager will install first.
When done installing, the Creative cloud (adobe manager) should open in the middle of your screen.
If no apps automatically start installing then click on Apps
Scroll down to the app you want to install and click the install button
Once the manager says it is done, you can start your app like you normally do with any other app. -

There are many methods for interrogating the alert log and sending e-mail. Here are my notes:

- Shell script - Database independent and on same level as alert log file and e-mail.
- OEM - Too inflexible for complex alert log analysis rules
- SQL against the alert log - You can define the alert log file as an external table and detect messages with SQL and then e-mail.
Because the alert log is a server side flat file and because e-mail is also at the OS-level, I like to use a server side scell script. It's also far more robust then OEM, especially when combining and evaluating multiple alert log events. Jon Emmons has great notes on this:

I am pretty new to SAP ERP. I got assigned the ticket as requested below.
Business requirement:
I would like to make some changes in GR91 payment term.
1. 85 days from invoices (instead of 93)
2. Only the 5th of each month , will be the bline day (payment day), instead of 5th & 20 th.
My Analysis:
I have checked OBB8 in EED system for payment term GR91 and I could see the below 3. Here I have attached one file with business requirement and GR91 payment term screenshot.

Day limite 5 doesn't allow GR91 use after 5th day. So you will have precisely 85 day.
If you want have unlimited day use and fixed day you have never precisely 85 days.
Please do a test. Define OBB8 and replace a Vendor Invoice Payment term to GR91. Look at FBL1N the due date.

Have 1 POP3 email account I want to work like IMAP email in icloud (keeps my iMac, iPhone, ipad mail in sync). Apple suggested trying creating a new Apple ID just for that POP3 email. Has anyone tried this to see if it works and will delete/update across multiple devises? Would mean keeping up with two Apple ID accounts but only other alternative I know of is paying for monthly service for Microsoft 365.
would I be able to "upload" (not sure how else to say it) my existing folders and subfolders containing all my emails so that they are all available on my new IMAP service, while still being available on my Mac?
Not easily, no. There's no direct transfer option between POP and IMAP, especially across email providers. The best you could do would be to forward all of your emails to your new address, although it's not clear that you need to - dropping your sbcglobal.net account doesn't instantly render all your existing mail void - it'll still be in your Mail client, you can still read it, search it, etc., it just won't be on your provider's server.
I have toyed with the idea of getting a MobileMe account. Would that solve my issue/question above?
MobileMe would be viable, especially if you're interested in synching your various iOS devices. It's not free, of course, unlike Yahoo and Gmail, although you've already discounted them...
I have also toyed with purchasing my own URL, but it's hard to tell from the sites (1and1, Namecheap, etc.) if they come with IMAP email accounts included.
Some registrars offer email hosting bundles with a domain registration. This could be a good way to go. GoDaddy, for example, have a email hosting option for domains you register with them. -

Hi, both my husband and I have iphones synced to my apple id. It seems that we can't facetime due to this as it's like my email address is calling my email address! Is there anyway to fix this or will we need to create a new id for my husband's phone?
settings - facetime - remove the apple id, on your husband phone.
He should create his own id for imessage and facetime. -

You have a number of things that will make this not work.
Your mailto link is not the way to go, take a look at this and it should get you on the right path.

On your action page, you can have it give the thank you message that you want. Having a seperate page saying they forgot to do something complicates matters more than you might wish at this point, and usually irritates people. however if you decide you want to go that way, look up "sticky forms". What this does is re-populate the fields when they have to go back to correct.
A better way would be to validate the information, you can use Spry if you want which is built into dreamweaver.
You also have in your html form this
enctype="multipart/form-data"
That is used for sending files, and since you are not, the form would not work, so you want to remove it.
Hopefully that will give you a starting point.

I'm not 100% sure of your issue - are you trying to find your printers ePrint address? If so, it should be a 12 character alpha-numeric string with @hpeprint.com at the end of it - you can find it within your ePrint Web Services menu onboard your ePrint enabled printer.
It is worth pointing out, that this string can be renamed to a string of your choice within your online eprintcenter.com account - once your choice is still available.

I just upgrade from the 4 to 5s. Are my apps supposed to transfer over and perhaps it just takes time to load like my email and pitures are? I tried to install apps and it showed that they are already installed. What do I do to get them to show up?

If your restored from a backup and the apps that are missing on the device show "Open" in the App Store, then they are located on other pages on your iPhone or are in folders. Also, with the iOS 7 update most developers have changed icon badging. This can cause some applications to be difficult to find.
