I signed up for sync on one computer and got a pairing code on the second computer but now I can't bring up the pairing screen on the first computer. Why not?
I set up sync on the first computer, then got a sync code on the second computer. Now I can't bring up the sync screen on the first computer to sync them together.

Yep, that's the only message that popped out. Nothing else. Yes, it's running on the latest ios and I still can't restore it. I called apple and they told me it's probably something wrong with their servers. Anyway thanks for the advice.

I had done a backup before tthe ios update and that went ok. When I hit sync itunes goes out and says syncing , preparing for a sync, then in the
3rd step doesn't do anything and ends with no syncing happening. I can go to the app store and manually install an app but would like to be able to
so the full sync.

I am locked out of my iPod. I tried to update the iPod so I could download a song I just bought. Had to back up the library on my computer. After I installed the software and updated the iPod, iTunes is asking for the password for the backup, but I never typed a password. Now I can't get into my iPod at all.

could you please get back to me as soon as possible , there is an update I have been anticipating for a about two months now and it is coming very soon.
This is a user to user forum; there is no one from Apple here to get back to you. Apps and music are forever associated with the Apple ID account they were purchased with. There is no way to transfer them to a different account. That is why Apple lets you change the email address associated with your account without having to get a new account. If you didn't do this, but instead got a completely new account, you are out of luck. You can still go back to the old account and just get a new email address for it.

IS there a on/off that stops old emails from coming through on my Iphone? Everytime I click on my email it uploads another 50 old emails from my computer. Maybe the PUSH?
1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

It will not sync with my iTunes!
Your phone is locked to a carrier. Only a SIM from that carrier can be used to activate the phone. Ask the "friend of your mom's" to which carrier the phone is locked. You'll then need to contact that carrier and see if you are eligible to have the phone unlocked. If not, the phone is useless to you.

I DOWNLOADED THE LATEST UPDATE TO ITUNES AND NOW CAN NOT FIND HOW TO BACKUP MY LIBRARY
The backup to disk option was removed as of iTunes 10.4. If you want to back up your tracks to a CD, you can as a workaround put the tracks in a playlist and then use the Burn Playlist to Disk command and select a data disk as the format. If you want to back up your tracks to a DVD now, you'll need to use other software. Unless your library is pretty small, though, it's probably a lot more effective to just copy the entire iTunes folder to an external hard drive or USB flash drive.

I upgraded my Iphone to IOS6, but now I can't connect it to itunes (10.6.3) because it is not upgraded. However, when I want to upgraded, it says that my computer (imac Mac OS 10.5.8) needs to be upgraded to another version. I can't find anything to help me out.

I am struggling to Partition my MacBook Pro using Bootcamp 5, can someone help, please. I previously had successfully loaded Windows 7 running Bootcamp 4 on the same machine. When I upgraded to Windows 8 I started encountering problems. My trackpad would not work and it required me to load Bootcamp 5" as I was running 32 bit this is not supported by Bootcamp 5 I had to completely delete the previous partition, but now I can't repartition as it goes halfway and says an error has been encountered and Bootcamp cannot partition this drive.
I do not know how to defragment the drive in Apple as I can in windows nor can I clean it up to maybe get everything in neat clusters, maybe somebody can help me solve this problem.Sorry Bobthefisherman, this was not helpful. I had already gone through these pages before coming to you. What I have discovered however is that when Bootcamp Assistant deleted the partition, it did not create a single volume but created three partitions instead which maybe the reason why it cannot create the new part ion parameters I am asking it crate. So I took it to the geniuses at Apple who suggested that I reformat the drive and reload everything again! and this might solve the problem. We'll all know whether this is helpful once it finishes the formatting of the hard drive. This process is taking a very long time to complete so I am leaving it overnight for it to complete. I will keep you updated on progress. I am also told that Apple is struggling with Windows 8 drivers and I may not be able to use that, so I am going back to Windows 7 even though I was beginning to like windows 8 very much.

you can use a computer or iphone acting the role of hotspot login using it's browser and getting internet access and then sharing it with the appletv
so the appletv sees it as a wifi router it connects to
