I signed up tp lastPass premium and installed the app on my phone. I can no longer download mail. I am asked for a password which I supply my my email but it is not recognised and says there is a domain error. Can anybody help please

Try deleting that app, then see if you have the same issue.

Apps can only be updated using the same Apple ID and password they were originally purchased with.

Honestly, from experience however, if it asks you for the password again, the previous one was likely incorrect. Maybe a typo... -

First you say "new Mac" which one exactly. Year and size? If you didn't set up a password that prompt might just be blank. How did you set it up originally? -

Updating or upgrading depends on what version of OS X you are running. A G5 Mac can not go further than Leopard 10.5.8 as all later versions of OS X require an Intel preocessor.

Yes it does and there is an indication that the software is downloading but after a few hours, it just stops without any error message. Everything simply disappears and I need to start over again. I have a superfast connection so it should no be this slow. Everything worked fine on my MBP and I am in the same place. Any ideas

I installed the App" find my Iphone on my Ipad.. its working well.

But, that question aside, your wife should educate herself on how GPS works, especially on a cell phone. GPS signals can be interfered with by trees, buildings, clouds. Off by several miles would be unusual, though.
If your wife is tracking your cell phone and not believing what you tell her, you may want to consider counseling as there are some very serious issues that go way beyond the technology.
