I sold my old iphone 4 as i upgraded... and the old phone keeps coming up with this phone has been connected to itunes account ..... etc i have gone into managed devices and deleted all so i now have no devices on my itunes account but it still there?

with newer itunes version to get the devices sidebar one needs to go into the view menu and click show sidebar

To delete synced photos and videos
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply.
To delete Camera Roll photos and videos
There are two methods to delete items from the Camera Roll:
Import the Camera Roll to your computer, choosing to delete items after import.
or
Delete photos and videos from your device manually. Open the Photos application, open the Camera Roll, tap the Action button, tap each photo to select it, and tap the Delete button.
Note: For photos and videos you want to save for later, import them to your computer before deleting them from the Camera Roll.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753) let them know and they will helo you enable the account. even if you change the password 50 times the account will stay disable till you call them

One way is to Drag and Drop the Entire iTunes Folder from your Old Computer to an External Hard Drive...
Then Drag and Drop the Entire iTunes Folder to the location of your Music on the New Computer...

My iPhone 4 has a connect to iTunes symbol but iTunes wont connect.

I just got this iPhone today and have never plugged it into the computer yet. I plug it in and nothing happens so I look through the articles here and do what they say. Still nothing, but then I get onto one that says you have to restore it. I try to do that and it says error code 1611. I dont have a security software on my computer to disable for iTunes to work. Now I have an iPhone that iTunes wont let me restore because of this error code and I dont knwo what to do.

Try to boot the mac into safe mode to see if it will recognize it.

HT4759 I am accessing itunes match and it keeps coming up with "I tunes has stopped working

Itunes has worked on and off giving me the message that "itunes has stopped working" after only a few minutes while it is trying to complete the "Match" in order to have the songs available on my iphone 5. I have been resigning in since yesterday after noon and it is still not complete. Does anyone have a solution to this issue? I purchased the service on the cloud thru itunes yesterday.

It shouldn't take that long. You might want to start over by turning off iTunes Match on your phone, and also by opening iTunes on your computer and going to Store>Turn off iTunes Match. Then turn it back on in iTunes, wait for your library to be scanned and matched, then turn it back on on your iPhone.

This makes no sense at all. If the phone is connected to a dock, the dock is PHYSICALLY ATTACHED to the phone.
If you're getting a message that this accessory does not support charging, or something to that effect, clean the dock connector on the phone with a dry toothbrush. You've got grit in the connector causing a short.

thanks for your reply and input but, Im not sure if it was former or latter that I did, however I do know that I named this latest i phone differently and would have been OK with and expected expected old contacts to be added to the new ones I have recently added directly onto the new phone since I have had it rather than just the old one. I did try the undue/ unsync but this just seemed to remove all the old backed up ones just added leaving contacts empty? Clearly its my error, but what can be done to restore setting back to time before I connected today? earlier reset points on itunes show as 2 years ago and relate to old phone.
