Or are you asking for the dimensions of video iMovie uses?
It edits in 720P HD, which is 1280x720.
You can make it a bit bigger so you can zoom in.
Much bigger then this is a waste of time.

I got a notification telling me my hard drive was full. I had been downloading a lot lately so I knew it was going to happen. I then went through and deleted 34GB that I had in one of my folders. But even when I deleted and emptyed my trash my hard drive says it's still full. I showed hidden files but there aren't enough of those to be causing the issue.
I'm planning on getting an external hard drive to free up another 68BG or more of space but until I do I need to know why the 34GB that I deleted didnt free up space.

Sounds like you are accessing your email by POP3 on at least one of your devices. If your mail provider allows access via IMAP, switch both devices to IMAP access, which is designed to work as you describe.
After you have switched to IMAP, you will see all those messages that you see in webmail, so you will have to dispose of any that you do not want to keep.

When I search for a file, A) it asks me if it's a name, or it wont produce anything, and B), its slower than in prior OS versions and in some instances I have to toggle to a different directory and go back to my original directory in the search: menu bar or the search wont produce anything... It appears to me that network file access is buggy in Maverick.
In my case I have a USB Drive attached to airport extreme (new model) and when I open folders on that drive they all appear empty. If I right click and I select get info after a few minutes! I get a list of the content.
It makes impossible navigate a directory tree.

As long as the app remains in the store then you can re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or via the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
Similarly ibooks can be re-downloaded, and depending upon what country that you are in then music, films and tv shows may also be re-downloadable (if they remain available in the store).

Well, now you know why you should have backed your data up. There are two kinds of computer users: those who have accidentally deleted important data in the past, and those who will do so in the future. You've just switched groups. If your data isn't backed up, it will all be lost sooner or later to boneheaded mistakes or hard drive failure. The only question is when. Good backups are cheap insurance against that day.
Now that those files have been deleted, you'll have to use data recovery software to try to salvage them, assuming the space they occupied on your hard drive hasn't yet been overwritten (a pretty good bet if they were still visible yesterday and you STOP using your computer now, to avoid overwriting them before you recover them). To do so you'll need an external hard drive and one of the following recovery utilities:

Correct KiltedTim the iPhone does not have a disk drive, and it does give an error message about running out of disk space. I'm here searching for how to clear it and/or what causes it. A friends 8gb iphone 3G has started giving her that message. It is not jailbroken, has no videos, 400 songs, 20 apps. The system information says there is 0 bytes free. There is 4.6 Gb of "other" data taking up the remaining free space. None of the few apps on the phone I expect would take up that much space with data. Even her emails and saved text messages shouldn't fill 4GB. New iPhone coming in the next couple of days. Easiest to just reset the old one after the upgrade and redownload the apps to make sure not to mess things up.

What information do you want to share, exactly? You can share contacts, reminders, and calendars with other iCloud users without the need for both of you to use the same iCloud account. You can authorize both phones to use apps purchased under the same Apple ID without sharing an iCloud account.
Sharing an iCloud account is a bad idea in general. There is too much opportunity for someone to damage or delete data that will affect both.

I have the same problem in Mavericks, but I'd say, more important, with QuickLook.
Indeed Quicklook can't read avi movies anymore. Actually it always been the case, but with Perian we were able to fix it. The problem is that Perian is no longer available for Mac OS 10.9....
I'd assume that our only hope is Apple themselves... It would be nice from Apple to creat an add-on for quicklook to be able to preview the avi movies.
In regards with quicktime, you can download QuickTime 7 here:

Then there's nothing you can do. Only the previous owner can help you. They must either provide the ID and password, or erase the phone and remove it from their account as explained in the article you were reading. There's no way around this.
