I spilled a drop of water on my trackpad, and now the click and drag function isnt working.
I am not able to drag things around or highlight any texts. I've already tried shutting it down and letting it dry in front of a fan for a day, but no luck. What should I do? How much will this cost me if I bring it to the apple store to get it fixed?

That you'll need to find out when you bring it in. Depends upon how much damage was caused by this "drop" of water. In any case:
Do
Immediately shut down the computer and unplug the power cord.
Remove the computer's battery if it's a portable Mac.
Disconnect any peripherals (printers, iPods, scanners, cameras, etc.)
Lay the computer upside down on paper towels to get as much liquid as possible to drip out.
Note what was spilled on your Mac.
Bring the computer into Apple store or AASP as soon as possible.
Don't
Don't try to turn it back on. Liquids can help electrical current move about the components of your Mac in destructive ways.
Don't shake the computer (this will only spread the liquid around).
Don't use a hair dryer on it (even at a low setting a hair dryer will damage sensitive components).

Hey! I hope you can help me! I dropped my Ipod today, and now the Click wheel doesn't work anymore! The IPod broke open, but I put it together again! When I came home I connected it with the computer to see if "its" alive. And it connected and updated and everything was okay, instead of the Click wheel control! When it dropped there was "Hold" and now I can't deactivate "Hold". So I think, maybe the click wheel doesn't work because "Hold" was activated the moment the ipod dropped! BUt I don't know! Maybe something inside the ipod a soldering joint got torn apart, or something, I don't know! I just know the click wheel doesn't work, anything else seems to be okay! Can anyone help me???

heres what i think but im not an ipod know it all so what i say might not help but any way...
And it connected and updated and everything was okay, instead of the Click wheel control!
well this sound okay so it probly isnt anything to do with the hard drive if it is updating ect...
I think it would have to do with the fact that the hold lock was on... have you tried jigling the hold switch back and forward a bit? that often helps...other wise i think you should take it to an apple store and see what they can do.

I somehow knocked my iphone 4s in the sink of water and everything seems to work except the camera. Is there a way to reinstall the software or does anyone know what I can do other than using phone protection insurance? All my pictures are there and they upload and share but just can't get the camera to take pictures.
The device is damage, it was dropped in water. You are lucky that the device works at all.

I dropped my Macbook Pro and now the battery is swollen, should I bring it to the genius bar?
My Macbook Pro fell off my bed (approx. 3ft) and dented the left side of the front left corner on the battery meter. Besides the damage everything seemed okay for a little while until I kept getting a erratic curser track pad. I kept cleaning it thinking some dirty or oil may of got on it or in the edges, but long story short I found out my battery is swollen and thats the reason for the erratic curser. The drop and dent impacted the battery causing it to swell. I feel that I just need a new battery. I purchased my macbook from the apple store and still have applecare. However I've researched online a bit and saw some people posted that if you drop your macbook, Apple will void my coverage. I also read that when people have had a swollen battery and applecare, they just brought it into the Genius bar and they went to the back and brought them a new battery. I've been super nervous to go see them as I've spent the extra bucks on Applecare and did not get any use of it. If anyone has had this issue or knows about it, please let me know!!

Working in iPhoto
Want to edit image using photoshop elements
Did the following
IPhoto>Preferences>Advanced>Edit Photos: In drop down menu chose in Photoshop Elements
Also control click and chose edit in external editor
Drop down menu edit photos in external program>photoshop Elements
Go to to the image I'm working on --- selected the image, the clicked on edit. When nothing happened I double clicked the image. Still elements didn't open. Then I opened the Elements editor, went back to iphoto and tried the entire process again. the photo still didn't open on Elements 13 for editing.
I have 3 Elements 13 books as well as looked on line--all my references say the exact same thing ---- iPhoto>Preferences>advanced>edit in external program>photoshop Elements
I uninstalled and reinstalled both iPhoto as well as Elements.
I spoke with application technical support. There appears to be nothing wrong with my copy of iPhoto. However there is no support from Adobe. I waited for over 1.5 hours for chat support several days ago, and finally gave up.You are probably choosing the obvious file rather than the correct file as the PSE editor. The actual editor is hidden away inside the Support Files folder. The PSE file at the top level of the PSE folder in Applications is just an alias for the welcome screen and what you're describing is exactly what happens when you choose that. You want this one:

Water damage is totally unpredictable. If it was salt water the phone is definitely dead. If it was not you MAY be able to recover it by putting it in a sealed plastic bag full of uncooked plain rice (not quick cooking or "converted") for at least a week without attempting to turn it on. Better yet, if you can get silica gel easily that works better than rice. If you have tried to turn it on it may be too late for this. -

Get it fixed. Take it to an Apple Store for them to look at.
Dropping electronics on hard surfaces does have a habit of making them go "funny" - best to avoid doing that if you can. -
I bought CS3 several years ago while in school, but had to drop out before I even opened the software. A few months ago I opened and installed the software and used Photoshop to complete a review project in preparation for my return to school. This morning when I tried to open Photoshop again I got a message saying the license didn't support the software anymore and I would need to check with my IT administrator or contact Adobe. I tried calling Adobe but the recorded message said CS was not phone supported. I know it took me a long time to get back to school, but it seems sad to waste the $1,000 I spent on the software. Is there a solution to this issue or do I need to buy new software? Thank you for your help if you have any suggestions.

I reinstalled iPhoto 9.1 and now I can't drag and drop photos to the desktop. The photos have a grayed out flag in the upper left corner and a pull down menu in the bottom right. Please help.

I deleted i photo from search folder, reloaded the software and now I can not drag and drop to the desktop. Help
Look in the Applications folder to see if iPhoto is still there. If it is drag it back to the Finder Sidebar. If it is no longer in the Applications folder post back, you can also look in the Trash it might still be there.
