I started to udate my Ipod and now it is stuck on a screen with the Itunes logo and a USB cord, what do I do?
I started to Update my Ipod, and now it is a useless paper weight, what do I do?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Can someone please help me? I need to reset my ipod & by holding the wake button & the home button its not helping. It got like this after I tried to update the software.
I have the same problem right now only on my Iphone. I can't get anything on my phone but that picture. I have tried to turn it off and on and nothing works. I called support and they said let the phone run down and then turn it back on. That is all I can think of to do and it will take several hours to get it to run down.

plug your ipod into itunes...it may not do anything plugging it into your own itunes so you may want to try plugging it into someone elses to save the trouble. I had this same problem last week plugged it into my dads ipod and it worked (:

Hold down the on/off button and the home button for 20 to 30 sec, when the iPod starts and the Apple logo is on the screen release the on/off button but continue to hold the home button until you see the plug into iTunes screen. Connect the iPod to iTunes and you should be good to go.

My new ipod touch has become stuck. The screen has an image of the itunes logo near the top an arrow pointing up just below that, and an image of the charger at the bottom. I don't know what this means. I've tried charging it, and turning it off and on, but it comes back to this screen every time. Anyone else experience this and know how to fix it? Thanks!

I just finished downloading and attempting the install of ios 7 on my iPhone 5. I'm using the newest version of iTunes.
And now, I'm stuck at the screen with the iTunes logo and the plug. But no matter how many times I try, recovery mode will not work. My phone is currently useless unless I can figure this out.No problem, glad to help!
Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -

This is so frustrating.
I downloaded the latest iTunes and iOS 8.1 for my iPod Touch 5th Gen., and now it only displays a message on it with a charger with an arrow pointing to a red iTunes logo. I've tried doing just that, but for one reason or another my iPod will not connect to iTunes. I cannot do anything on my iPod but turn it off and back on, with the same message in tow. I know my iPod is connecting to my computer, since I hear the same notification tone whenever it is plugged in or pulled out, but it will not connect to iTunes. I forgot my passcode to my ipod so i went to restore it. When it said if i waned to restore and update that was my only option. So now i clicked that and my ipod will not leave this screen. No matter what i do. I even tried literally every step such as: the DFU mode, reinstalling itunes and the apple mobile device support, hard resetting my ipod and so many things, yet they all dont seem to help. What can i do to fix this ipod.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without be charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

My Ipod Touch suddenly stopped working. It hadtrouble starting up – then suddenly turned on after a few minutes of pushingthe start button. The next time I turned it off, it never started back up. Symptoms:
It is stuck on the apple logo screen (with thecircle of moving bars – as if it is waiting or doing something) and never moveson from this.
When I plug it in and try to restore it:
Whensyncing with my back-up, I get the error: ITunes could not restore it becausean error occurred
WhenI set up a new Ipod, everything downloads. (apps, music etc)
It looks like it is fixed, butwhen I unplug it and try to get it to work, it is still stuck in the apple logoscreen – same as above.
I have also updated all of the software. Still - no go!
When it is plugged in to mycomputer, I am able to play music and see the items in the ipod. Through this,I have even updated my software. This all works .. but that screen with theapple logo does not go away and I just cannot access it manually through the touchscreen or ipod buttons.

Hold the Power button and Home button at the same time, keep holding, when you see the white apple logo appear and then let both go. Let it start. -

hi there, I need help .. I have 2 gen ipod touch and I restore my ipod around 11:00 pm and now its 1:20 am and on my screen its the iTunes logo and the usb cord and when I plug my charger in my laptop .. iTunes comes up and this what it saids "iTunes has detected an ipod recovery mode. you must restore this ipod before it can be used with iTunes" so what do I do.. do I let my ipod died right out & then try it .. because I restore it ,... it was beening to slow... so please help me ?
