I STILL can't calibrate my iOS 7 compass!

I needed to repost this question because my last one got lost. Everything works fine in the Compass app except the compass! The new calibration ball does not roll and just stays there. After a few seconds, the ball disappears and I am left with a compass stuck at 0 degrees. It knows my location and the leveler works. Just not the compass. If your asnwer is right, I will give you ten points just like that.

This problem has completely ruined my workflow as a photographer because I use to use the left hand screen to retouch on at 100%. Now its pratically useless because it can't be calibrated.
When you open display preferences, and click the colour tab, if you click the profiles on the right screen, it changes the right screens colour. If you click the left screens profiles, it changes the right screens profile, and does nothing to the left.
I also calibrate my screens with Spyder3 Elite, but I've updated the software to 4.0.3 Beta which is suppose to be Lion friendly, which leads me to belive this bug is still a result of Lion.
I can't belive that Apple, whos software is heavily used by photographers, designers and retouchers to work on, hasn't addressed this bug in 3 updates??
My workstation is now screwed, as nothing is setup to use the right screen for viewing other then my photoshop toolbars etc.
Or is this one of Apples latest "we don't think you need this" features they've installed?

Well, I was wrong. I decided to look again, and this time I managed to find the WD software, and removing it does seem to have fixed the backup problem for me.

I can't backup my iPad to my computer so I can't update to iOS 5

I have an iPad and I still can't update to iOS 5 since it came out. The original computer that my iPad would sync to is gone and I authorized my new computer but i never checked the music box and video box and app box so it doesn't sync but to back my stuff up to update, I need to sync but when I check the box to sync my music or videos exc.. it says all my music will be deleted and replaced with the music from my library but...there is no music or apps or videos or podcast in my library. and I do not want to lose my music and apps there are a ton of them. Any recommendations into fixing this problem?

Transfer Purchase from the iPad to the computer.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left sidebar of iTunes and select Transfer Purchase. That will put all of the iPad purchased content into the iTunes library.

To troubleshoot this issue where your camera is displaying a black screen, please follow the information outlined below.
You see a closed lens or black screen
If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:
Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping (camera swap icon). If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

The feature no longer works in iOS 6 so you must not have updated your other devices yet.

I still can't sync music to my iphone 6 with ios 8.1. I have tried all the options suggested on various posts, and searched the internet, but since getting the iPhone 6, and updating to iois 8.1 today, I STILL cant get music from my macbook pro on to my phone, and its driving me mad.
Im using a MacBook Pro 2GHz Intel Core Duo, so quite an old mac, and iTunes 11.4. PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!!!

Are you uninstalling just iTunes? Because if so, you actually have to uninstall five separate programs, and THEN reinstall.

If you mean you purchased more iCloud storage, that doesn't expand the amount of storage on your iPhone. iCloud storage only gives you more room for backups, documents, photo sharing, etc. You will still need to remove things from your iPad to give you enough room for the update. You'll need less room if you update via iTunes on your computer than if you update directly on the iPad.
BTW, you posted in the iPod touch forum. For many issues the answers will be the same, but it's usually best to post in the correct forum for your product so that there is no misunderstanding.

Even through iTunes. You can upgrade, but only to iOS 8.0.2. Apple is no longer signing to anything lower on 4S and higher.

Still can't connect to WiFi on iOS 6 iPhone 4S?

I have read all the workarounds for convincing iPhone 4S updated to iOS 6 to connect to my wireless network and it still will not connect. I've used it in other places with no issues (networks with no security) but I can't connect to my home wireless network (Airport Extreme). My other devices connect fine and there were no issues before upgrading but I have tried restarting the Airport anyway and changing the security settings and still nothing. Half the time when I go into WiFi settings on the phone, the network doesn't even show up in the list. Whenever it does, I try to connect and either get "Cannot connect to network," or I am asked for the password and I enter it and I get the same error message. I've tried resetting my network settings and doing a soft reset of the phone but nothing seems to help. I also tried removing security on the wireless network completely and it still can't find the network or connect to it.
Has anyone found a workaround for this short of reseting/restoring the phone or a problem with the Airport Extreme that might be causing the issue?

Update: I tried restoring the Airport Extreme to factory settings and used a new network name. It connects at first, but then loses the connection after a minute or two and the network disappears from the list...infuriating.

So im going to barrow a apple laptop from a friend but I'm wondering if I plug my phone into it, and if my data will go on the laptop from my phone and stay there so when my phone restores I can redownload my info back on my phone. Well, I strongly recommend that before you make a backup before sync with a new iTunes, because this will erase everything you have.
Look at www.copytrans.net, they have diferent products, depending on the case.
